Cold and rainy day and it was a perfect day for a bowl of Phô. We wonder into this place and thank goodness it was not too busy because I was starving. I ordered the #10 beef broth with brisket, rare steak and flank. It was really delicious but would have liked a little more broth in my phô. We also ordered pork and shrimp spring rolls. Loved them so much! The peanut sauce was delicious.

Mediocre pho. But I am not surprised considering how little amount of pho restaurants are around the area. The broth was more bland than what I'm used to.

Probably the best pho I had in a while! The meat and soup tasted sooooo good I'm going to be craving this place for a while! I was recommended by a friend of mine and I'm so glad I listened. The staff was also very friendly and very attentive! Definitely will be coming back here for more!

My Valley Tradition - The Best Pho at New Phở 999 I mostly work in downtown Los Angeles, but on the days when work brings me to the San Fernando Valley, I have a tradition, I always stop at New Phở 999. It's not even a question anymore. After a long day, nothing resets me like a steaming, fragrant bowl of their pho. I once asked the chef why the broth is so unbelievably good, and he told me they simmer the beef broth for over 8 1/2 hours. That kind of care and patience shows in every sip...rich, balanced, and deeply comforting. I eat pho everywhere, Orange County, Koreatown, Downtown, but nothing compares to the authentic, family recipe here. When I'm solo, I stick to pho (and sometimes a rice dish that I can't finish and happily take home for the next day). When I bring friends, family, or my partner, we go all out, grilled meats over rice, vermicelli noodles, crispy egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls. Every dish is a hit, and often I'll order extra just to bring home because it's that good. And I can't forget about the Vietnamese coffee... don't drink a whole one to yourself if you're not a real coffee drinker for this stuff is potent! The staff are friendly, the portions are generous, and the flavors are unmatched. For me, New Phở 999 isn't just a restaurant, it's become a ritual, a little reward I look forward to whenever I'm in the Valley. If you love pho, this is a must. If you think you've already had the best pho in LA, come here and prepare to be proven wrong.

bowl of pho that I couldn't wait to dig into

I was told about this place through word of mouth. when I realized it was practically next door to where I work I made a point to visit it for lunch one day. last friday, even though it was kinda hot out, I had a craving for some really good soup and after looking at a few photos of the food made, I walked over immediately. The inside looked authentic and cozy and I was greeted by very kind staff. I sort of already knew what I wanted but my server was really helpful in pointing out the differences between items and helping me narrow it down. I ordered the brisket and flank pho and the charbroiled pork vermicelli bowl for dinner later. During my short 15 minute wait, a few people walked in and it was clear that they were regulars. I'm pretty sure I heard the owner (?) ask "the usual?" to one of them. Needless to say I was excited after catching that little exchange. After sprinting back to work and throwing my bowl of pho together, I took my first sip of broth and it exceeded my expectations. The flavor was very complex and savory, but somehow also very light. It's one of those broths that you can keep sipping on endlessly. I was too excited to take a picture of my bowl of pho before I started adding the generous amount of toppings they include with the bowl. I added it all and it definitely elevates an already perfect broth. The portions are a good size for the price too and I think I will be a coming back here often!

Ayo!!! I'm back and New Pho 999 is serving all of Vietnamese Bangers. One of the only few good Vietnamese Pho restaurants we have in LA without traveling to SGV.I ordered Pho with Rare steak and Meatballs. It was Pho-Nominal :-) ok I will stop, but really great bowl of Pho. Also got the grilled pork and Shrimp with Vermicelli Noodles. Lastly the Pork and Shrimp Egg Rolls. Can't wait to come back cause i'm already craving it. Lots of parking, friendly staff and cards are excepted

I've been coming here for years and always love their food. This was the first day I never saw the female owner there and they said she was out, food wasn't the same. I started with an order of Spring Rolls, see my photo missing any greens just shrimp and rice noodles rolled up, what happened?

I've been on the hunt for the best pho place in my area and discovered New Pho 999! If you are looking for a very authentic Vietnamese meal, this place is it. Ambiance-wise, this place is your casual, no-frills, hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Despite that, the food tastes amazing. The broth is definitely one of the better ones in my area. 8/10 Food: I ordered the House Special Pho Bowl. Nice beefy-flavored broth with lots of meat toppings. My partner ordered a Pork Rib Rice Plate and also thoroughly enjoyed his meal. This is the perfect spot for comfort food. Parking - There is plaza parking within the lots but can get quite busy. However lots of free street parking close by.

Being a huge matcha fan, I was all set to order one, but then I spotted a unique drink on the menu called "Fluffy Hojicha." I got curious and asked a staff member what hijocha was. They told me it has a distinct roasted flavor, which really intrigued me. Not knowing what to expect from a roasted tea, I decided to give it a try. The wait for my sister's drink, along with a crème brûlée donut and a strawberry donut, was just a quick 3-5 minutes. The first sip of the Hojicha caught me off guard; it wasn't my favorite right away. But with each sip, I started to appreciate and eventually really enjoy the unique roasted flavor of the tea. The crème brûlée donut was a lovely addition - just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. ELNO is located in a building with other small vendors, and there's a seating area that fits only two to three people. I found parking easily since I went on a weekday around 4 PM. My sister mentioned that on weekends, parking is a real hassle. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

Right off the bat, I peeped the reviews to see if they were good and I noticed, a lot of the issues were with the service but nothing about the food being bad, so it was a go! Once we arrived we were instantly seated and they were quick and attentive! The lady took our order, while the other lady was pushing carts with huge pho bowls on them. I'm not going to lie, the bowls were looking amazing! The place was pretty busy and clean. The vibe was cool and everyone was either in a group or with their significant other, so I was digging the vibe. I went with the teriyaki chicken plate, while one of my boys got the bulgolgi plate and the other got a bowl of pho. I thought my chicken teriyaki was amazing but I did have a bite of my boys bulgolgi and it was not the hit and I LOVE bulgolgi. I def won't be ordering it there. Anyway, I would go back for some late night eats and I would 100% get the teriyaki chicken again. It was very good! OOOC 3.5 out of 5 Afros

I got the Super Bowl pho which basically has a lot of beef and pork and seafood. Cost around 20 and I got me a side of egg rolls. The service personally wasn't the greatest and that's why I gave it a 2 star. There were only 2 lady workers running the show for 18 tables I think I counted. Which had a Hispanic male in the back and I was like this is not authentic pho. I was cold and I asked if I could not sit by the door and she told me no. They took forever to bring utensils and napkins. The ambiance was casual and okay. At the end when I was almost finished with my pho I notice two Asian men came in and the lady knew them but gave them a huge table and they did not order food or anything which I was like damn that sucks. I'm cold sitting next to the door and they walked in and got a nice sitting. And I knew if I brought CAREMAL kisses she would have not liked the meat it was chewy and the texture was a bit weird. And this is coming from me so I know she had a part that she left on me to be detailed about the taste and texture because I wouldn't have said anything before meeting her. I would come again just to see if I get the same experience but I hope I don't and I would come back. It's the light skin dragon coming to you with a review that is honest and am looking to coming back to see if I get treated the same way.

What is this for? Why can't you include this in your pricing instead. The broth was fine, but I was a bit annoyed. The restaurant is still the same in decor, or lack thereof.
