$17 green curry (DOESN'T come with rice)

Their $17 green curry doesn't come with rice and is this tiny. Tried calling the restaurant after my delivery but it's now closer. Will never order from here again.

First time trying this place. We got a couple of lunch specials, one Pad Thai and another Pad See Ew. We also tried the Pork Jerky. Everything was good. Nothing outstanding but all was what I was looking for. I'd say the Pad See Ew was the most flavorful. My wife liked the Pork Jerky. It was a comfortable environment and the staff were nice.

First time ordering from here through Grub Hub and it was delicious ! Portion sizes were big and the food arrived hot . Utensils , napkins, and hot sauce provided without me asking - bravo !

This was my third visit to this restaurant and I must say the food is delicious and the service was wonderful. The restaurant is very clean and they tend to do a lot of takeout services. Although, the second time I went to the restaurant and I found hair in my food, I still went back. The server was very gracious and apologetic and that made want to return. Thank You.

    Chicken Sate 10/10

Every dish I've had here has been 10/10. One of the best most authentic pad Thais and curry! The portions and prices are amazing as well. The sauces that come with the chicken sate was to die for! I always get medium or spicy and it's the perfect heat. My favorite Thai food in noho. Definitely recommend the fresh whole coconut. Great lunch specials! Service is great, very sweet and attentive. Parking: there's a lot in the back, 50 cents per hour until after 6, I believe. There's lots of street parking as well. Overall, recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Cockroach in Pad thai Lunch special

Such an amazing mom & pop shop. The thai food here is amazing, the customer service is amazing, & the spot from the inside is cute! I honestly don't have more pictures of the food my friend & I ordered because as soon as it got to the table we devoured it! We got their lunch special that is from like 11am-3pm or something like that, & it was a great amount of food for the price of about $13 or $14 dollars! In this economy, that's a win!! Will definitely be going back, amazing & tasty place!

The parking lot is a decent size so finding a spot is never a problem (there's always street parking if need be). Place is always packed but never overwhelmingly so. Servers are friendly and quick to fix any mistakes that may arise. For appetizers you can't go wrong with vegetable egg rolls, tofu, or fried chicken dumplings. For entrees we've tried the Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Pad Thai Noodle, and Pineapple Fried Rice (with the last two being our go-to). The portions are family/shareable sizes unless you're absolutely hangry/determined enough to take it on solo. Overall it's one of the better Thai restaurants we've been to in the Valley. It's nice and cool inside for those hot summer days, it's a great place to catch games on their giant TV, and it's a solid choice for families on a budget. If you're in the area, give them a shot!

Make sure you order online on weekends, because this place is packed. I found this place when i was…read morespecifically looking for kai jiew (thai omelette? scrambled eggs?). I love the crispy edges of kai jiew, really can't get enough of it. This place has two kinds though: thai omelette (which looks like a common omelette but with ground meat inside and a brown sauce), and scrambled eggs (which looks like the 'thai omelette' that i've known from other thai places). Kai jiew / kai jeaw / khai jiao / kai jiaw (scrambled eggs) -- if you like those fluffy, crispy fried eggs that are mostly called thai omelette at other places, this is the one you want. They're not as crispy, but still fluffy and full of flavor. They're a bit pricey though, which i find a little weird since this is normally one of the cheapest dishes at most thai places. Thai omelette -- this egg dish is one i've only seen at this place. It's more like egg foo young than the thai omelette that i know. Still flavorful though. Crab fried rice -- one of the best! It might not be as full of crab aroma, but this is the only place where i found a balance in fried rice as both an entree and a side dish. Usually fried rice is either flavorful enough to be an entree, or slightly bland and best as a side. But Khun Dang's is the perfect middle ground: flavorful enough as an entree, but not so strong that it overpowers your main dish if you decide to eat it as a side. Chicken fried wonton -- nicely crispy, such a joy to bite into! Thai ice tea -- not bad, pretty okay. Not too sweet, and not the "packaged mix" kind. Thai ice coffee -- strong, reminds me of vietnamese coffee (in all the good ways). Service was warm and friendly. Got my order in half an hour, which is pretty good considering they were packed for sunday lunch. The place is nice for hanging out and chatting when it's not packed, but even when it is, the tables aren't arranged too tightly. The price point is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and portions reflect it.

Since this place popped up first and had "Thai BBQ" in the name, I saw BBQ and thought cool let's try. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from the very beginning. The service was not good. The server and I had trouble understanding each other, so there was definitely a language barrier making it harder to communicate. She also didn't seem familiar with the menu since she couldn't answer basic questions. Just ordering was very frustrating. The tables didn't look properly cleaned either, which I should have taken as a red flag. As for the food, it just didn't do it for me. The peanut sauce was extremely watery. The garlic short ribs were honestly the worst part. They tasted undercooked and not good. I took one bite and I didn't want any more. We ended up eating mostly rice just to feel full. The shrimp dish was also disappointing. When we asked for something spicy, we were basically directed to the chili already on the table. The dish itself was mostly green beans with maybe 6 or 7 pieces of shrimp, and the shrimp tasted very basic. I also ordered the spicy beef combo plate, which came with steamed rice, but it wasn't spicy at all. I had to add a ton of chili just to get some flavor. The beef was probably the best part of the meal, but even that was just okay. Overall, I regret not checking the reviews beforehand because it definitely reflected the experience we had. I don't see either of us coming back.
