Pho here was ok. The spring rolls (not fried) were ok as well. Usually with pho places the name gives it away. If it's something clever like pho-nonmenal or what the pho, it usually means the broth won't be as good. From what I recall, they only have one size. The portions are pretty small as well. I had to order another one to be satisfied. I usually don't taint the soup with any sriracha or hoisin sauce because pho restaurants usually take a long time to make such good tasting broth. But the broth here was very meh. No deep flavors. Kinda like water + msg + minimal beef flavors. If you're gonna add msg, just go all out. I tried another pho place near the area called pho factory, they're a bit better. Portion size is better too. I would opt for that place than here. If you have time though, go to Pho Huang(?) or Pho Duong(?) (not sure if I got the spelling right) in centreville. It's so much better. Like bounds better. Like you won't regret driving the extra 10-20 minutes better. I promise to check them out. I'm just a guy that wants you to enjoy good food. read more

As far as pho in the area this is one of the best I've found. The staff is pleasant, the dishes is picture perfect and it is something. My issues only come in two small areas. Excellent pho in Ashburn! I'm most impressed by the always excellent service by the manager and staff as well, as their attention to cleanliness and making sure the customer has what they need. The shrimp summer rolls are lovely. Clearly made fresh with soft rice paper wrappers, silky noodles and crispy vegetables. Found this place on Yelp and used GrubHub to place an order for takeout. When I got there it took over 10 minutes for the staff to acknowledge I was there (they were not that busy), then when they asked if I ordered using Uber Eats and I told them GrubHub the guy said "not ready". They hadn't even seen the order even though I placed it 40 minutes previously. No apologies when the food eventually came. The banh mi sandwiches were good (although they don't use baguette bread) and the place looked very clean. I would have given four stars, but poor customer service means one star less. read more

I'm really confused by this place...their pho was good and they even offer you different sizes of pho with all the meatz. But when asking for their crab puffs, a beer and even for their pad Thai we received the response "oh we can't serve that tonight". I get they had a new chef and didn't feel comfortable serving certain foods choices but half the menu? This place is really expensive for what they give you. If I'm paying $16 for a bowl of pho brisket soup, I normally expect a larger bowl. It felt like a kids meal. They don't even fill the soup container all the way to the top (see photo). The amount of noodles they give you is severely underwhelming. A pack of ramen noodles give you more than what they give. The amount of protein they give is decent but not nearly as much as other pho places. I guess I'm just super shocked with these portion sizes because I come from Falls Church and Centreville. For $16, the pho places in those cities give almost double than what is given here. It's a travesty that they give out packets of Lee Kum Lee sriracha... where is my huy fong?? These owners seem to be taking advantage of the clientele present in this location because they don't know any better. As far as taste goes, it's average at best. The broth doesn't have that typical deep flavor a bowl of pho has. It feels generic here. Like there's no soul behind the broth. They also skimp out on the bean sprouts/basil. 2/5. Their portions are pretty decent (I'm always super full after) and their broth is a good 7.75/10 considering there aren't a lot of good pho places near Ashburn. Knocking off one star for service times and the boba. Tried the taro boba and it wasn't that great, and the service was mediocre. I would recommend hiring more waitstaff. I found the food to just be average in taste. The service was extremely slow the day I went.

Not sure if they changed owners or something but their food has changed from what it was. I usually order tau hu ky and grilled meat with rice or vermicelli. My meals are not warm and are cold. The tau hu ky is completely different from what we used to have. I've attached pictures. We came in pretty late, almost 9pm which is the time their kitchen stops taking orders. The servers were still very friendly and attentive. I like how this place keeps their restrooms neat and clean---an important sign that a restaurant keeps their standard at a certain level. This is my favorite pho place in Ashburn. The pho is great and friends that have ordered other things from the menu have always been pleased. I usually order the pho tai chin and it's always delicious and flavorful despite it being made with the leanest cuts of meat. I'm writing this review in quarantine but the times I have visited the restaurant the servers have always been kind and quick with our orders. Thank you Phonomenal! We had delivery, so I can't comment on the restaurant. The food was good, not the best I've ever had, but that's a high bar in NoVa. The spring rolls were fresh and the papaya salad was chrisp, but we're here to talk about the soup. Again, very good, if not the best, but a solid stock, high quality toppings, spicy pepers, and respectable meat. Decent spot in One Loudoun for pho and other delicious Asian dishes. It's a pretty small location, so I imagine they get packed at time. When my friends and I arrived on a Friday night, however, we were quickly seated. Our server was friendly and prompt. Of the five of us, three ordered pho and two ordered pad Thai. We also had a couple orders of the spring rolls. They had both chicken and shrimp, and were not skimpy! Everyone enjoyed their pho, especially the fact that there were so many different varieties, including proteins such as tripe. The pad Thai was solid as well - I wasn't sure what to expect ordering this dish at a Vietnamese place but was pleasantly surprised. The portion sizes were huge and sufficient to be 2+ meals. My biggest complaint is the inconsistency between the menu online and in print. This is a great pho spot. The broth is clean tasting but also very flavorful with no weird aftertaste that I've experienced at some other places. The slices of meat are cut a little bit thicker and much longer than the average pho restaurant. I am not complaining at all! The quality was great! The service here is always awesome and in my opinion it's the best Pho anywhere around the Ashburn area. The last time I went there I arrived after they had already closed but they stayed open and made food for me anyway (they also gave me a free bubble tea while I waited... which was not very long). I highly recommend this location if you're in the mood for Pho. And since it's currently COVID-19 season, I'll also mention that they have a cool QR code menu. Just scan the code and get the menu. We ordered pho #4 and #8. The broth is so fresh and seasoned just right, not bland nor salty so you can make it more spicy by adding condiments or enjoy it on its own, we did the latter. The noodles are fine and thin, exactly how we like it. Other stores serve thick noodles which is so unappetizing. They also serve a good portion of fresh cut of meat. Plus point for that one. We also got pork banh mi and it's great! Taste the same as the one I used to eat in Singapore. The green chili adds a nice kick to it. Pro tip: add the late to any banh mi you'll order, it certainly adds flavor and creaminess to the sandwich! All the staff are attentive. Encourages people to practice 6ft social distancing and wear their masks. They have a sanitation booth right at the entrance and alcohol gel on every table. The place is clean and cozy. I've been coming here for quite some time since I moved to Ashburn 2 years ago and discovered it here. It is a great place for cold days. It's rarely packed on weekdays, weekends are a different story. In the 20+ I've been here, easily rank a 5 star for me. 1/20 times being here, I did, unfortunately, have poor service on a busy Saturday night. One tip, ask for the special tea if you're feeling under the weather, it does WONDERS. I always get the chicken pho, it's sooooo good. Lots of flavor. Toss in some sriracha and you're good to go. Noodles are cooked perfectly, the chicken is tender. I'm usually picky about how my chicken is cooked and they don't disappoint here. The service here on slower days is usually quick and personable. The only bad time, it felt as if we were not even there eating. I don't know if it was because of the table being in the front near the door. We asked for tea and he checked to see if they had it, never returned to say whether or not they did and to ask if we wanted to try another flavor. We didn't get a chance to ask since they didn't return to the table often. Aside from this one time, it they are always great at coming by and making sure our needs are met and the food is up to par.
