This was the BEST food I had when I visited Maui! Our maps kind of guided us to the wrong restaurant, but we found it tucked off in the corner. The host/server in the front was welcoming & we got sat right away. He recommended beef fried rice with a fried egg (didn't get a photo & I also ordered spring rolls & crab rangoons. The food came really fast & I couldn't wait to dive in. Every single dish was absolutely AMAZING. Coming from Cali, it was hard for us to finally find a restaurant we enjoyed & this was the one i wish we found sooner. From the service to the cozy atmosphere to the food, everything was amazing. If I lived in Maui, I'd be here every day.

Nutcharee's is the BEST Thai food and service hands down! The owner and staff always treat us like family. We try to get there early around 5 pm or 5:30 pm and our food always comes out in about 15-20 minutes. Expect a wait if you come around the 6/6:30-7 pm range. That's when the 2nd part of the restaurant is opened. We always have our go to's. I get myself a refreshing Thai Iced Tea with Coconut Milk & we usually start with Spring Rolls and Calamari. It comes with lettuce, mint, cabbage, cucumber and Thai chili dipping sauce. If you want a non fried option, I'd recommend the summer rolls. It has vermicelli noodles, mint and vegetables wrapped in sticky rice paper. For our dinner, we always get their Crispy Fish with Green Mango Salad. You have the nice balance of crispy with fresh green salad that has red onion, peanuts, carrot, and cilantro. We get a Large Sticky Rice to share. We also were told there were some new items so we tried the Vietnamese Style Pho. I opted out of the brisket and meatballs and requested just the rare sliced steak which had fresh jalapeño slices, bean sprouts, lime, and hoisin and sriracha sauce to add! So comforting! If you love curry, I recommend their Green Curry (it has a lot of vegetables) and their Braised Short Rib Curry. Get it with sticky rice! If you're looking for a rice or noodle dish, their Crab Meat Fried Rice and Pad Thai and also Laad Na (Crispy egg noodle) is my favorite. I also love their Eggplant Thai Basil with Tofu and also Lemongrass Chicken if you're looking for Stir Fry. You can't go wrong with anything honestly because they always add fresh vegetables! Treat yourself to their Vegan Coconut Ice cream sprinkled with honey and peanuts and 2 small banana lumpia (egg rolls)!

Nutchareee was recommended by John O'Leary the legendary local under water photographer for good reason. It is excellent, affordable, easy and authentic. The friendly staff made us feel like we were at home, including gentle ribbon when I spilled something or otherwise made a mess for the fifth or sixth time. I have no idea what was going on. I am very skilled eating lobster, but for some reason this time I painted my table mates and then spilled something else a few times. The ample parking was a bonus. The ambience was tight them without being forced. Comfortable and authentic. Each plate was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. The ingredients were fresh. When the bill came. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it really was. It's worth the drive even if you're on another part of the island.

A small Thai eatery inside of a strip mall along the main road. With the amazing reviews I had to give it a try and see what all the craze was about. Here's my take. The owner/manager, was very kind. The service in this restaurant is what I believe gets this restaurant such great reviews. They're genuinely nice people. The food however, is not good. The highlight of our meal was the Thai iced tea. Moreover, our Pad Ke Mao came out dry and tasteless. When I asked for it to be remade or "fixed." They literally took my dish to the back and added tumeric to it (face-Palm). Like. What?! No! Omg. I was shocked. When he brought it back and kept asking how it was, I told him it was fine, but was I absolutely shook by the fact that they threw a eaten dish back into the wok to add tumeric to it?!? YES! YES I WAS! That's a sanitation issue. I didn't eat it after that. We paid, we thanked them and went out to eat again after that. Sorry Yelpers, but THIS, is a NO-GO. Cheers to better eats Yelpers xx If you want a real Ke Mao Noodle- GO TO THAI MEE UP! WOW!!!!! Thank me after!

Before I even took a bite- $14 I believe. Was about 1 cup of salad. Rip off!

I want to start off by saying the first thing that bothered me was the prices have gone up and don't reflect what's on Yelp. Second- the portion sizes were ridiculously small, and I spent $32 plus tip on two things that should have been more like $20. I was still hungry after. Will not be getting ripped off here again.

The entire place smells delicious. I thought the spice level was ok- could've gone spicier. My shrimp was tough to peel, but was so juicy when I got to it. The hot sauce/chili oil was a great addition. The staff were super nice and attentive- waters were always refilled!

Food: The flavor in the lemongrass chicken was so delicious and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I ordered this twice as the first time was so good, but the second time the flavor wasn't as intense as the first time although it was still really good! Service: Very kind and attentive staff. Atmosphere: Plenty of indoor seating available. Only one bathroom available but it wasn't as clean.

Went here last week for a togo order. The pad thai was really good. The papaya salad was really salty and i love papaya salad, so wasnt my cup of tea. Customer service was amazing though. Very welcoming.

A number of us came to this Thai food restaurant. I heard it was one of the best if not the best in Maui. I found it to be as good as any place in Honolulu. A few of unique things: the bowl retained heat for a long time. It seemed to be some sort of stainless steel with insulation? The curry stayed hot and tasty for entire time eating it. Very nice. They give a LOT of vegetables! I ordered my favorite green curry and it was delicious. It was very nice to have so much tofu and vegetables in the curry. Simple fantastic! I heard the yellow curry was really great too. The service is great and the owner was really nice!

Lunch time orders of Pad Thai-Chicken and Pad See Ew with chicken. Both were as good as Thai gets. Nice balance of vegetables, noodles and chicken. Charming server Kaikea, who took care of us with a lot personal effort. The place was empty when we first enter, full when we finished our meals. Nice setting in a Maui shopping center. Mahalo.

    Sweet & Sour chicken.

Great Thai food in Kihei! We had the chicken Panang and sweet and sour chicken, and both were great! Nice fresh flavors. The fried Springhill rolls were very good too. Seems odd that rice isn't included, but okay. We truly enjoyed our meals.

I had Thai-Railway Fried Rice, which has diced, cooked NY steak chunks, in a bed of brown rice, as well as peas, carrots, scallions, Maui onions (yum!), with an egg over easy on top, with toasted onions. I dialed the spicyness at "medium". It was *perfect*! My wife had Pad Thai with chicken, and she left it at the default spicyness (medium), which ended up being too hot for her, but she soldiered on nevertheless enjoying the wonderful flavor. Perhaps because of the noodles and curry, the spiciness of the Pad Thai seemed much stronger than the Thai-Railway fried rice dish. Of course, we had leftovers and I'll probably end up eating hers, and she'll eat mine. The service was prompt, and the girl waiting on the tables was courteous, with a beautiful smile. The restaurant is deceptively roomy, seeming to be smaller from the outside, but once inside, it was quiet, clean, with comfortable chairs, clean tables, and large windows to enjoy some of Kihei's views (like today's gentle rain). As with most things these day on Maui, where everything comes in a shipping container, food costs are very noticable. Our meal, including thai ice tea and a soda, with a coconut ice-cream to finish it was about $44/person. Not cheap, but also not as bad as, say, Tommy Bahamas.

RESERVATIONS: Not needed. PARKING: Free & plentiful. MENU: Vietnamese apps, noodle & rice selections, desserts. FOOD: Crispy Tiger Shrimp (4 pcs.) Sizable, peeled shrimp that needed to be cooked more as they visually and texturally tasted a tad rare. The coating was light and crispy but needed more seasoning as they relied on the included dipping sauce for flavor. Lettuce Wrap Romaine innards provided for the perfect vessel for the ground chicken, though the poultry needed a serious flavor oomph. Special Pho The pictures, especially the dark-hued broth, looked so good, I had to try it. This was my first ever beef pho and it was very disappointing. First off, the broth was not hot, a serious flaw for me. Secondly, the flavor was very subtle. I did enjoy the tender slices of meat, especially the meatballs. I wished my carb overload didn't go to waste, but it did. SERVICE: Greeting was immediate and welcoming. Food delivery was quick. Wait staff were friendly but there was no follow up. TIP: There's an automatic gratuity for kitchen staff and a surcharge for using credit cards. OVERALL: Meh.

The menu has all the familiar Thai favorites, but also dishes that are hard to come by in the States. We tried quite a few things, and everything was excellent. Mom's Sausage is incredibly flavorful and definitely worth ordering. The Pad Mama is another standout. It's a simple Thai comfort dish made with instant noodles, but they do it perfectly.
