    Chicken Pho
    Irma K.

Looked for a place to grr some chicken pho and found this place. They were closing and service was ok. It's located inside the food court at Maui Marketplace. There are lots of seating indoors available. The chicken pho needed more flavor. Will go back and try other options next time.

Got the BBQ chicken plate for my son. Holy cow! Huge portion! Chicken is well marinated with some char here n there. Theres crispy garlic chips as a garnish. So yummy! I think what I love most is when the sauce saturates the jasmine rice lol.

This place hits the spot if you are craving Vietnamese food! My go-to is the fried spring rolls + bbq chicken combo with cold vermicelli. The spring rolls are definitely my favorite with a nice crunch and great flavor, while the bbq chicken is flavored well and a nice protein on the side. The meal is a great balance and it is also relatively healthy because there is lettuce, cucumbers, and pickled vegetables on the side to complement the dish. Highly recommend eating here if you need some quick bites or takeout.

Very flavorful. Even the pho noodles have flavor. We really enjoyed the barbecue pork summer rolls. You get two rolls in they're huge. Just delicious.

Best pho on the island of maui. Located in a food court so no frills here. The service is friendly and super fast. I can say that I'm a connoisseur of pho. I have tried it all and this is the best on Maui. The broth is rich, subtle and clear. The toppings and sauce make it even more delicious. A must try when you are craving some comfort food.

Vietnamese comfort food on a windy and rainy day (hurricane Hone visiting, just like me ) We enjoyed our Cha Gio (egg rolls), flavorful, tasty and not oily. And our chicken vermicelli dish was great as well. A good 4, sure value. It took some time to get our order but the food court was super busy.

Since there no reviews on anything vegan here: there's a vegetarian menu and everything is vegan except for the Garlic Tofu Noodle (has butter). I love the Tofu Summer Rolls! Also the Vegetarian Pho is good to dine in there (can't imagine what it would come to-go in?), except there's barely any tofu so next time I'm seeing if they can add extra tofu for protein. I haven't tried anything else yet.

Way too toasted! Should be crispy, not burnt!

Their veggie phở is solid, big portion and authentic. I've tried several places on the island and theirs is still my favorite!

    Lemon Grass Chicken and Rice

Food came out fast and generous. I got the lemon grass rice and noodle and it was packed full with cucumbers, tomato, and pickled radish and carrots. With a side of sweet and sour sauce. 100/10 would come back here The prices are reasonable and beats all the expensive resort and airport food ten fold. As a Viet person, this food hits home. Sorry for the photo i already ate some of it before i could take a picture it smelled so good

We found our new favorite restaurant! We loved everything we ordered. We got the fresh shrimp roll, combination sandwich, chicken sandwich and the BBQ pork vermicelli. This has to be the best Vietnamese restaurant on Maui hands down

Decided to try this new Vietnamese place for Pho on a rainy day. It's located in the Food Court at the Maui Marketplace in Kahului in the former Bale space. There is plenty of seating available. They used to be located at the Wharf Cinema Center in Lahaina before the fires. For now they are open from 9am - 8pm daily, but they may adjust their hours as needed. We came on their soft opening day so they were offering 15% off everything which was a nice surprise. I ordered my favorite, vermicelli with spring rolls. The portion size was good with 4 large spring rolls that were crispy and yummy! The pho was really good too, better than other places. It's nice to have another Vietnamese place to go to. Also so happy to support a business that relocated after the Lahaina fires.

    BBQ Chicken Banh Mi
    Kanani T.

Happened to be at Maui Marketplace today around lunch, so we popped into the food court and saw a couple new places. I went up to look at the menu and the man at the counter was not helpful at all. He didn't ask if I had any questions, he just looked at me, straight faced, waiting for my order. I was in the mood for a sandwich so I got the BBQ chicken banh mi. It is on pretty skinny bread, but was chock full of stuff. It tasted good, but was a bit dry. I had to add a lot of hot sauce to it. I'd like to come back to try other things to have a better overall opinion of this place.

The menu has all the familiar Thai favorites, but also dishes that are hard to come by in the States. We tried quite a few things, and everything was excellent. Our favorites were the Spicy Basil (pad krapow) and Mom's Sausage (sai oua). The pad krapow comes with ground meat, as it should, and has that savory, spicy, fragrant flavor I look for. Mom's Sausage is incredibly flavorful and definitely worth ordering. The Pad Mama is another standout. It's a simple Thai comfort dish made with instant noodles, but they do it perfectly. And don't skip the mango sticky rice! The sticky rice was warm, soft, and pillowy, and the mango was perfectly ripe. Everyone here is super friendly too. The interior is cute, creative, and full of little details that show how much thought went into the place. They even play Thai country music in the background. One tip for first-timers: when you arrive, grab a menu from the check-in spot outside the restaurant, to the left of the dining area. Then head into the dining area and they'll seat you. You order through the QR code at your table and pay + tip when you place your order. Food is served in paper takeout containers. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Maui!

We arrived at 7PM on a Friday to a nearly empty dining room. Well, we went into dining room 1 and saw two people, stood there for a good minute with no one coming by to seat or greet us, so I walked over to dining room 2 since I saw a woman wiping down tables. She said we could dine here too, so I walked back outside (rooms are not connected) to get the rest of the party over. We sat in the middle of the room, since there wasn't anyone else and marveled at the "quirky" decor, which was kind of interesting. A few minutes passed and a woman came out with small bottles of water. Since we're new to the place, we didn't know there wasn't a menu - just a QR code that wasn't prominently displayed or designed (dark on semi-dark colors). We scanned it and it is the weirdest menu I've ever seen filled with "jokes," that actually adds to the bill. It was difficult to navigate as it is long and not in organized, but Pad Thai for $25? Get out of here. I don't care how good it is. I'm not paying $75 for three entrees. The waitress hasn't checked on us for a while when we had questions, so we decided to leave. I went to the window to call them to let them know, but they didn't hear me above their own chatter, so we just left. Light industrial condo units converted to a restaurant in an industrial area with hardly any customers on a Friday night. I don't know how they survive. Three stars for the decor and possibly the food.

Sizable, peeled shrimp that needed to be cooked more as they visually and texturally tasted a tad rare. The coating was light and crispy but needed more seasoning as they relied on the included dipping sauce for flavor. Lettuce Wrap Romaine innards provided for the perfect vessel for the ground chicken, though the poultry needed a serious flavor oomph. Special Pho The pictures, especially the dark-hued broth, looked so good, I had to try it. This was my first ever beef pho and it was very disappointing. First off, the broth was not hot, a serious flaw for me. Secondly, the flavor was very subtle. I did enjoy the tender slices of meat, especially the meatballs. The roast duck was really good actually. The general tsao's chicken and chicken lettuce was good, I've definitely been to other spots that were better but I don't have anything bad to say about it. What I really disliked about this place was the Seafood Bird's Nest. Initially, they thought I ordered a Seafood Delight, but my order was missing the noodles. But they basically just fried up some noodles real quick and threw it under. And that part wouldn't have been a problem for me, but it was honestly waaaay too salty (and I like really salty! so that says a lot to me) It was difficult to eat to be honest, but I of course didn't want to waste it. The seafood included 3 pieces of shrimp, about a stick of imitation crab meat, a couple small pieces of scallop, and A LOT of calamari pieces that were soooo tough to chew, we couldn't even really eat them! For the chicken lettuce, they gave us about 3 full pieces of lettuce that was cut up and then charged us $4.00 for more pieces of lettuce which is pretty pricey lol. The siu mai was mid.. but you get what you pay for. There was also a 3% additional kitchen surcharge which was weird...? Still not sure what that was for lol. And then on top of that there's another 3% charge if you use credit card, so just be aware of that. The service was fine, because there was basically no one else in the restaurant anyway. Also - my boyfriend told me they had no soap in the restroom at all which was inconvenient. Overall, the price of their food does not make sense for the level of quality. I wouldn't recommend to my peers to come here, except maybe just grab their roast duck to go.
