We started with the spring rolls, which were perfectly crispy on the outside with a savory, flavorful filling inside--golden, crunchy, and so satisfying. The chicken pad thai was excellent, featuring tender chicken, perfectly cooked noodles, and a well-balanced sauce that was savory with just the right touch of sweetness. The beef drunken noodles were the standout for me. The beef was tender, the wide noodles were cooked perfectly, and the dish had the right amount of heat--bold and flavorful without being overpowering. Every bite was rich and comforting. Located behind Lahaina Gateway in a food truck pod just behind Foodland, this was the freshest Thai we had had in a very long time. Lovely swing bench decorated for Christmas and two tidy picnic tables shaded and nestled in a pretty little setting by the truck. The area was adorable and very nicely serviced immedately after each seating. We avere greeted warmly and checked on for anything else we needed during the meal. We had: Chicken Salad - Larb Gai - freshly prepared with deliciously bright flavors Crispy Pork Belly - carefully prepared and well presented - the crispiest pieces EVER, wow! A food truck that should be on everyone's stop while in Lahaina!! We came on a Sunday afternoon and they were the only truck that seemed to be open. This was the best pad Thai we've had in a long time and that's coming from a couple that had some pretty good pad thai in Thailand. The right amount of sauce and tang! Freshly made by auntie! Service was fast but I can't say it would be the same if it was a lot busier. Food came out in about 10mins ish. Please come support them! We're no strangers to good Thai food and this was delicious and great portion sizes! It's parked behind food mart in Lahaina, we had our rideshare drop us off at Food Mart and just walked over from there which worked great, picked up some groceries after we finished eating and heading back to the hotel. We went here a little skeptical seeing how little reviews there were, but after eating here I can tell you that this is indeed a five star meal. I've paid over $700 for dinner this week, and probably averaging $300+ and this food truck was the best food I've had on this vacation to Hawaii so far! Very friendly and nice ladies. The best dish I had was the green curry with chicken. Wings were also delicious. Pad Thai was amazing. I'm not Thai, but the food tasted like what I imagine someone's Thai mom or aunt who is an excellent cook would make. I came back for takeout again, and I'm not the only customer to do so ... another two customers I saw also were already repeat customers. Note that they can get backed up. I had to wait to order until they got a couple orders finished, then a couple people ordered ahead of me. Fabulous food for four! We stopped by late this afternoon and enjoyed two orders of chicken pad see ew, one chicken cashew, and one chicken pad Thai. Food came out piping hot and smelling delicious!
