Amazing place! Their original location used to be right by my house in bellflower and I'm so happy I was in the area to stop by their new spot! Inside is very clean and open which is good for bigger groups. The owners are amazing people and always so kind to my family. Service is amazing and food is even more amazing! The staff were very friendly and service was speedy. We tried one of the appetizer platters that had 2 firecracker shrimp, an egg roll and a spring roll, and it was yummy. Easily the best pho place I've ever been to. The service was super quick, we were quickly seated and all of our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Not to mention, I'm usually not a fan of pho, ramen or anything noodle/soup adjacent, but the pho here was STELLAR. I absolutely loved it and I will be returning. Their fried rice & spring rolls were also amazing, along with the Italian soda. One of the servers saw me putting some hot sauce in my pho and actually gave me some chili sauce, which made it even better. As a ghost food reviewer, I must say this place was interesting. This place had a soft opening for 13 days now and it is truly something else. Before we begin, I just want to share that I am a Vietnamese Chinese person. I work as ghost reviewer for different companies and brands. My opinion is my point of view and is not paid. I writing this in hope that the owner can learn from a honest review and better themselves and their company. I'm not here to hurt their business but in hope to help them through the beginning journey. Now, to the review. First off, when I came through the door I was greeted with a warm welcome. That's was a great start. I was ask if this would be a sit down or takeout. I choose takeout. Now, why takeout? You may asked. Well, takeout can mean a lot for busy people. Yes, dine in can probably taste better than take out. However, not everyone can afford a dine in experience. So, back to the topic. As I was looking over the menu. I was very overwhelmed and surprised. The menu was kinda all over the place. With only small sections of "Vietnamese traditional food". Like gosh, why was there Chinese menu on it. Now, sure I seen Chinese dish on the menu at other Vietnamese place but not a half a page menu. If I wanted Chinese food I would have gone down the street to get Chinese food. I was also felt pressured to order something quick. I had asked for more time to look at the overwhelming menu. I even ask if they can do fried tufo. I wouldn't have cared for the extra charge but man, they turn me down. It was a simple request. Beside that, I order five items after I felt pressure. I was hoping to see some banh mi bread on the menu. And other usual item I see on every viet menu. The five item was definitely something to talk about. First, the eggrolls (2rolls) tastes delicious and crispy, However, the eggroll & fresh vegetables vermicelli noodle salad was a different taste. The eggroll in that meal was salty for some reason. And the noddle and salad was watery. Maybe they should have added the noodles on the bottom and veggies on top. Cause I went fishing for my veggies at the bottom. Grilled pork chop was delicious should char it a little longer. Two shrimp included was not worth the price. Rice was dry. But over flavors on the pork and shrimp was great. Shrimp and pork Spring Rolls was a hard pass. So, much lettuce. Should have used one lettuce wrap for it. Bare any noddle and the shrimp and pork was bland. Sauce was fine. Took one bite and was like nope. Vietnamese iced coffee was sweet, milky, and not strong at all. Disappointed on it. I should have brought Starbucks instead. They should make it more stronger than normal coffee. The place is beautiful and they care about the cleanliness on table but the floor was dirty, trash on the floors, and bottom of the walls where floor and walls meet are dusty. Overall, an interesting experience for a grand opening. I will come back and write this review again in a couple of months to see if they can redeem themselves again. But, I'm going to leave you guys to decide wheter this place is worth a try or not. read more

Came here for the second time since they opened (once during their soft opening). Both times, we were greeted by the friendly staff and the food came out promptly. The pho broth here is great, and isn't too strong with the flavor of spices/cinnamon like some shops can be sometimes. Instead, get welcome with a nice rich beef flavor that is nicely complimented by the spices and herbs. The meat quality is great and tendon was cooked to perfection (soft with still a good chew). My wife got the pork chop rice plate, and the pork was very well marinated and tender, pictured here. Overall, just a great experience in a clean and welcoming environment, and definitely will be back especially seeing how my work is about a block away. read more

Very clean and friendly. The lemongrass beef rice bowl was delicious. The spring rolls are a little plain--just lettuce, noodles, and protein inside; however, the peanut sauce is exceptionally good. The menu is all in English, so that makes it feel a little less authentic, but all of the flavors and textures are on point. The egg rolls came out hot, crispy, and packed with flavor, and the pho broth was rich and aromatic with perfectly sliced beef. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. OMG This is THE BEST pho I've ever had in life. No I'm not Asian but I grew up in Silicon Valley in an extremely multi cultural Vietnamese/ Asian area. I've been eating Pho since 5 years old. I've tried so many pho restaurants in San Diego and LA as well. This one is the Best! This place is even better than my middle school best friend's grandma's traditional recipe !!!! I'm obsessed !! We're originally from Orange County, and have desperately been trying to find good pho near here but have been disappointed a lot. We tried the brisket pho and the broth was deep, and meat tender and easy to eat. We also got the beef chow fun based on reviews, and it was good- loved by my little girls. Chicken Pho was delicious, it's all in the broth! There was extra so yes, we had it for breakfast the next morning-that good! Spring and egg rolls were good, but servings are small. Get extra! Rice plates were tasty, but the fish sauce was just ok. Room for improvement. I'm from the Bay Area and have a local, favorite pho spot (sorry even pho from little Saigon doesn't compare!). They only had shrimp, vermicelli, and weirdly.. shredded lettuce! Lots of lettuce. So bad. Do not get these. Such a disappointment. The pho was standard. Not bad, but not amazing. We got the rare steak and brisket. Average. Came with a TON of bean sprouts. Not sure anyone would ever want this many bean sprouts. No lime and no jalapeño which was odd. Really missed the jalapeño. Was very excited that a new pho spot was opening up in Oceanside. Family and I went during their soft opening on May 1st and it was busy but we got a table right away. We also received their free promotional drink for the soft opening which was nice. The pho is great; the soup definitely tastes way better than many of the other pho places available in Oceanside. We went back the week after and were able to speak to the owners a bit. They mentioned they actually are from Garden Grove and decided to open up their pho restaurant here. This also is another indication of the pho being good because people who know pho all know that Garden Grove is the spot for good pho. We also tried their egg rolls and they are very good. Only thing I do notice is the menu doesn't have some typical Vietnamese dishes like bun Bo hue (which is one of my favorites) and also no pho ga for the non-beef eaters but at least there are other options like the shrimp or veggie pho. All in all, very happy more Asian restaurants are opening up in Oceanside. A lot of restaurants that occupy this location have left or have only been open for a short time so I am keeping my fingers crossed that this one stays for the long haul. read more
