whenever I find myself in the area. While there are numerous Vietnamese restaurants available, there is one establishment that stands out as a must-try destination. Pho oh Love Located conveniently next to the Food For Less, this restaurant offers a clean and welcoming environment, which immediately adds to the pleasure of the visit. What makes this place exceptional, however, is the quality and freshness of the food. Banh Xeo Chay with shrimp, which was exquisitely crispy and delicious. Additionally, I enjoyed the Bo Luc Lac served with rice and their eggrolls. Each dish was bursting with flavor, showcasing the authentic taste Moreover, the attentive service provided by the staff greatly enhanced the overall dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an exceptional Vietnamese meal that combines freshness, flavor, and excellent service. It is truly one of my favorite places to dine in the area.

Shop located next to a Food 4 Less. Ordered Bun Bo Hue (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) and Bun Rieu (Vietnamese seafood tomato noodle soup). Not too many local Vietnamese restaurants offer Bun Rieu, I'm surprised it offers this soup! Good portion and plenty of broth for both noodle soups. Tastes as expected. Good service and food came out fairly quickly. The shop decor is similar to other Vietnamese pho places with neon lights, etc. Plenty of parking outside. Pricing wise, a little more than I expected considering the local area, but I can't complain about the portion. Also keep in mind it does charge an 18% surcharge for party of 5 or more. Worth checking it out when in the area.

This restaurant is in a Food 4 Less/Ross strip mall. The place itself had a good amount of seating: around 4 booths (4 ppl), some big tables in the middle (good for groups) and tables for 4 on the other side. It wasn't too busy when I went, about 2-3 tables were taken. Service was really quick, but when I was done I did wait awhile before anyone checked on me. FYI - you pay at the register. Well it was Pho type of day today and I found this place on Yelp. I ordered a chicken pho and a strawberry lemonade. There is only one size serving for the soup (ranged from $15-$18) depending on what type of protein and soup base. I just went with a basic one protein. The strawberry lemonade was ok. Not sure I liked the strawberry part, but the lemonade part is good. I would try the regular one next time. It is on the pricier for a drink as well $7. The Pho! The soup base was great. It had so much flavor! Normally when I get chicken pho it is sometimes bland, so this was a nice surprise. Not sure if it was beef or chicken base... but I just kept drinking the soup. I will defintely come back here again for this, especially as we get into colder weather. Back to the size... I did mention the bowl only comes in one size, but I literally took home a full container of soup (check pics), so it might be worth it depending on 1) how much you eat 2) if you like to eat leftovers.

This is one of the best Vietnamese food I've had in the SGV! Their pho is very comforting and delicious, especially on a cold winter night. The vibes inside were cool! It's very clean and they're decorated for the holiday season. Service is great! Straight forward and hospitable. Overall, I would go here again!

Pho Oh Love is a rare gem located in La Puente. This restaurant is probably one of the most spacious, and nicely decorated Vietnamese restaurants. It's clean and very open. The service here is always friendly, and quick. My go to order is always the vegetarian pho because it is so flavorful.

This place is a must try! Have been at my share of pho places, this place gives you the most noodles in your bowl! I left here so full and satisfied!! Plenty of indoor seating and very cozy atmosphere, I'll definitely be back for more, also, love the Thai tea here! That's a hit n miss in most places!

This spot is great for some Vietnamese food, best in the area. They use the spring roll wrapping for the eggroll that makes it extra crispy. The chicken is marinated without being overly lemon grass tasting. Didn't see that many customers on a Friday night, please support if you are in the area.

Love this place! We come here so much, we've probably tried most of the menu and everything has been stellar! They have one of the best Bún bò Huế ever. My partner and I love coming here and the quality has always been good and always consistent. This is a no-frills pho restaurant, but the service has always been quick and friendly. This is definitely our favorite pho restaurant outside of the OC.

    11. Pho Dac Biet / House Special excellent

My fiancé recommended this place and when I can't go to my favorite pho place because they close early we come here food is really good no complaints at all we love having our family dinner here very clean friendly staff good service

Located to the right of Food4Less with ample parking in a busy lot due to construction. The prices are average to slightly-above-average for a vietnamese restaurant in the 626, but it's probably to compensate for the higher meat-to-carb ratio in their dishes! Nem Nuong Cuon (5/5) These are tightly wrapped and well presented! They don't skimp on the nem nuong, which makes these summer rolls really plump. Can't really go wrong with an appetizer like this. Banh Xeo (5/5) Crispiest banh xeo I've ever tried! The batter is lacey and crispy. I was expecting a small pork to bean sprout ratio, but there's a surprising amount of pork in there--more pork than when I've had it at home! Highly, highly recommend. It's quite pricey but this dish stood out to me and I will reorder this when I come back. Pho Dac Biet (5/5) The broth leans more on the sweet than savory side, which I like since I have a huge sweet tooth, but it's not overly sweet. I'm surprised at how much meat and tendons they provide as well. When I thought I was done fishing out the meat and sipping on the soup, I kept finding tidbits of brisket or tendon here and there. I really appreciate when restaurants don't skimp on meat!

I come here all the time when I am craving pho. The service was fast, polite and I enjoy the quietness and the ambiance. Love this place!

Latest health inspection as of 11/2025. 16 violations. Hope they retrain staff re: proper protocols and get their A rating back.

I've had good pho here. I'm disappointed to see their latest health inspection results. As of 11/2025, they dropped from their normal A rating down to a C. I'm hoping it's simply a matter of retraining the stuff. It takes them about 10-15 mins to package the order. Once you head to the counter they confirm your name, show the total, and wait for you to finish the transaction. A simple bye and you're free to leave. They've always given me the same service if I ate in or did takeaway. Their interior is dated but true to other Vietnamese restaurants. Sometimes you do have to wipe down the table and chairs by yourself. Will not be returning until their score improves. Honestly I would probably review reoccurring violations. The two major violations make me a little uncomfortable as a customer.

Was craving something warm & cozy while on a road trip & saw this pho spot on Yelp. They have a bunch of vegetarian/ vegan options which drew my attention. The vegetarian pho was delicious! They come in huge bowls! I hadn't had pho in years & this hit the spot. Customer service is great and the inside ambiance was cute & decorative.

It offers a generous portion of tender, juicy meat and springy, fresh noodles. "DELICIOUS!!" I arrived at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) on Sunday (around 11AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big with many spots. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, but Staff spoke limited English. Fortunately, pointing at the menu was clear enough. The food took eight minutes and nine seconds. Fast time! As mentioned, the Beef Rib Noodle Soup ($16.50 - Mild) is wonderful! It arrived picturesque and delicious!! However, despite ordering "mild," the food has a very strong heat; I sweat nonstop as I ate. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. The meat is tender, flavorful, and falls off the bone. And the noodles are hefty, soft, and springy. It's a wonderful, euphoric combination of flavors and textures. Concerning ambiance, No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) is surprisingly spacious with its tall ceiling and relatively clean surroundings. However, its walls and furniture look worn down with time. Some seats even had torn holes. Unfortunately, the music uses radio with constant commercials playing in the background. Fortunately, there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found culinary magic at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights). The food is fresh, generously portioned, and well-prepared. I left full with a bright smile. If you enjoy spicy beef noodle soup, this is a must-try! 5 out of 5!! "GO!!"

[Parking]: The dumpling house shares the same plaza parking lot as Tokyo Central in West Covina and our party had no issue finding an available parking spot. [Atmosphere]: A fairly standard no-frills Chinese restaurant setup with indoor tables only and our party was able to grab a table immediately at 7:30 PM on Saturday. [Menu]: Customers use a Sharpie to circle and place orders on a laminated menu. Yelp's top highlighted items are Beef Noodle Soup, Juicy Pork Dumplings, and Shrimp and Pork Wontons. The menu highlights recommended dishes with a thumbs-up icon and those dishes include #6 Braised Beef Noodle Soup, #14 Shrimp & Chicken Dumplings, #20 Shrimp & Pork Wontons in Chili Sauce, #21 Juicy Pork Dumplings (aka XLB), and #27 Pan-Fried Pork Buns. *** #6 Braised Beef Noodle Soup (mild - $14.99): S-tier broth and noodles. The noodles had soft texture and the broth was clear & flavorful. Spicy level was also just right. In addition, the broth did not taste particularly oily. The meat was good, but I prefer the beef tendon from some other SGV (San Gabriel Valley) beef noodle soup spots. #14 Shrimp & Chicken Dumpling (10 pieces - $12.99): Excellent chewy dough and I actually liked these dumplings more than the XLBs. I am also a fan of the garlic & oyster dipping sauce. S-tier dumplings. #21 Juicy Pork Dumpling (aka XLB 8 pieces - $13.49): Interesting broth with a slightly sweet and savory flavor. The dough was a bit thicker than I would have liked and the flavor was not as good as newer spots like Yum Long in Monterey Park, but still a solid A-tier dish. *** Overall a solid 4.5-star for the food (bonus points for the beef noodle soup and shrimp & chicken dumplings), bump up to 5-star for efficient service, easy parking, and no wait on weekends.

The lady on the phone spoke fluent English, and she spoke with an upbeat and cheerful personality. My food was ready for pickup in 30 minutes. Concerning parking, it's not too bad. Parking is available but competitive. The location has many cars searching for spots since this plaza includes the popular 85 degrees bakery. When I'd arrived that Monday, there was already a HUGE line of people waiting for Dine-In. I just walked in to approach the counter. Staff requested my phone number for pickup, and Staff moved very efficient and business-like. Regarding the food, it was DIVINE. The flavors and textures were impeccable. I happily feasted.
