I discovered this amazing Vietnamese spot while searching for restaurants near Harrington Library--such a gem! I ordered the grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli, the Trio Sampler (egg roll, spring roll, and meatballs), and an iced Thai tea, and everything was very good. The pork and shrimp tasted freshly grilled, the egg roll was crispy and savory, and the meatballs were like delicious, sausage-style bites. The spring roll paired perfectly with their rich, buttery peanut sauce. The Thai tea was also a highlight! I noticed tea residue at the bottom when I finished it, which made it feel like it was made with real brewed tea. Loved that! The vermicelli bowl was especially interesting. It had a base of fresh salad vegetables, topped with vermicelli, proteins, and more veggies. I'd highly recommend it if you're craving something that balances fresh greens with satisfying carbs and protein. Overall, I had a great experience here. The only downside was that they were out of basil at the time (see their notice in the photo), which prevented me from ordering their stir-fried flat noodles. I've only been to one other Vietnamese restaurant that served egg rolls just as good, but their prices were higher. I could tell they were freshly fried as steam was still escaping after each bite. Food was delicious but customer service is way below . First time customer- I pass by here on my way to work so it's really convenient to drop in and pick up my food. They messed up my order and gave me chicken instead of the shrimp I had ordered. I was already at work so I couldn't come back - so I called and told them their mistake. The guy on the phone was nice and said I could just come the next day. When I did- an older lady seemed annoyed that I was there and I even ordered more food. I stopped in for a quick lunch and decided to get the shrimp pad tai. I usually get beef pad tai for a baseline first meal in a first time establishment visit but decided to add some variety. Actually I've visited this restaurant in the past for the Pho bowl but it has been more than a year or two. If I'm being nice my waitress was very quick and attentive but the shrimp was so over cooked it had a metal aftertaste. Since it was the "meat" on my entree...down the hatch anyway! While I also don't care for large flat noodles in my Pad Tai (it's eye preference and a little easier w/ chopsticks) the rest of the dish was quite tasty. Next time I'll get beef... !!! As a Houstonian, I find it hard to find great, authentic, tasty, filling Vietnamese food in Dallas at a price that is worth. Pho Que Huong's diverse and vast menu is appealing and provides so many options. I got the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio which was Vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and eggrolls. We also ordered Nem Nuong and Cha Gio. The eggroll is crunchy and satisfying just in the first bite. Nem nuong is amazing. Everything else was seriously enough for two people or enough to take home. I got there about 8:55 and ordered my food, was asked if it was for here or to go, I said for here. The lady gave me a dirty look which seemed strange. The food came out pretty quick. True to their word, my friends (and colleagues) took me out for a redemptive pho experience. We headed slightly east of downtown to a local-to-DFW chain, Pho Que Huong. The restaurant felt like a family-owned joint, simple and basic. We started with spring rolls. They were delicious! I would come back just to have these for lunch. Two sauces came on the side - a chile sauce and a peanut sauce. I tried them both then opted to dunk in sriracha. Yum. I tried a beef pho again, but this time with no egg. This one looked vastly different than my bowl from Dalat. The broth was flavorful and even more so when I added some spice powder. The pho came with a plate of add-ons - jalapeno slices, bean sprouts and basil. Add what you like. How perfect is that? Verdict after Pho #2? I see why people like it. The service is about the same as most but after reading a fellow Yelpers review (Derrick E.), I wanted to try something other than the regular beef or chicken broth Pho. It was chilly out so I ordered the Spicy Curry Pho. Granted the water here tasted funny and and weird. The Spicy Curry Pho made up for everything. It was that good. The chicken was plentiful and had a natural chunks (not that sliced breast) and the broth was def curry tasting, smelling and spicy! I loved it! I ate it all and licked my bowl. My friend ordered chicken Pho and seemd to be pleased (she was sick) and I even got to try a little bit of the Pad Thai, which just talking about it is making my mouth water. The 2nd diet coke expired 2 years ago. ++the pho broth was tasty++ 5. However the chicken was rubbery and obviously pre cooked. Just gross. 6. Omg! They have cockroaches in the kitchen!!! I stopped here for the first time for lunch. The food was nothing special. The man & women that works there were yelling, arguing with each other in Vietnamese and doesn't care about customers being there. They were yelling at each other and smashing things in the kitchen loudly while making orders. I was the only vietnamese customer there so I understood everything they were yelling about. It was so unprofessional, I couldn't even eat without feeling weird. Then I overheard 1 of the employee said to the yelling couple they "should be worried about the cockroaches crawling all over the kitchen instead of fighting over this" (whatever problem between them). This location has won back a place in my heart. I've given them a few more chances and they have gotten my order perfect every time. I think they have a few new people working too because they are very kind and friendly compared to the past ones. I really appreciate that the new people actually listen when I order and ask not to include onions in my meal. They have left them out every time. I'm so appreciative. When onion touches something I swear I can taste it in everything. If you call in an order it takes maybe ten minutes till its ready. Food is consistently tasty, and a large bowl of pho paired with a plate of fried rice is just right for me, my wife, and 3-year-old son. Some reviewers have commented about cleanliness as being an issue, which I suppose refers to some tabletops. The food here is great, the service is super quick both for dinning in and take out. I usually get the s2 chicken&shrimp, they put a fair even amount of both into it. I have had the grilled chicken rice and it was pretty tasty and fulfilling as well bc they put lots of chicken onto it. Vietnamese egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls are good. When you order for take out you get all your components of the soup in different containers so you have to put it together at home. It's $1.00 extra for the big bowl but IMO just go for the small because it's really hard to finish the big bowl. read more

Cheap, delish, fast pho noodle lunch. My colleagues and I buy takeout from this place regularly. It's great for something simple and doesn't break your wallet. The parking lot and location looks a little shady, but otherwise the food and prices make up for it. I wouldn't recommend the canned drinks because they're overpriced (and you can just stock up at any local asian grocery store with those anyways).
