TL;DR: YOU SHOULD GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU HAD REAL PHO This is the worst pho restaurant I've had, broth is sweeter than traditional pho broth, which is personal choice. The bowls are smaller compared literally every restaurant and theres more bean sprouts than noodles! And this is costing you an arm and leg. I personally had the vermicelli with beef, and their beef taste and chews like beef jerky complete ovee cooked my food and gave me this nasty sauce on top. Lastly, the spring rolls are not your usual Vietnamese spring rolls theyre frozen spring rolls you can get at Walmart with extemely watered down fish sauce. Overall this was a perfect spot for lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside with our dog. I absolutely love ordering, paying, and then having my food delivered. Pho should be simple. My husband and I both really enjoyed the pho. Noodles were yummy and the meat portion was generous. My husband had the regular size pho with beef broth and brisket. I had the small portion with beef broth and chicken. The chicken was so tender. As for the boba tea, I had taro and he had milk tea. Comfort food on a cold snowy night? Yes, please! Been craving some comfort food since arriving to Keystone for two days. No comfort foods nearby SAD. BUT my friend recommended checking out Breckenridge, and we were able to find this gem for dinner on our last night! It's located on the corner of Watson Ave and N Main St, next to Mimi & Pin. There's a REALLY REALLY tiny lot next to the restaurant where basically only one car can enter and leave at a time. The lot is reserved for customers of the restaurants on the block. HOWEVER, it's a paid parking lot. Weird. The first hour is free, though! I ordered a small meatball pho while my boyfriend got a small brisket pho. The prices are relatively high compared to what I'm used to in Hawaii. But when we got our bowl, the portion was HUGE. Sorry, I underestimated you, bowl of pho. Interestingly, the veggies are put on top of the bowl of noodles rather than on the side for us to put on top. There wasn't the usual basil and mint that I'm used to, but that's okay as I don't usually eat those anyway. The broth was pretty good! The first initial sip, yum! But over time as I ate, the flavor of the broth dulled which was junk. But I still enjoyed it! There was a TON of meat in both of our bowls. Wow, whaaat? The meatballs that they had were the big ones that I don't really see in Hawaii anymore. Lots of flavor to them. The brisket was tender and not overcooked. The ordering system is straightforward so you can pick and choose whether to get the full plate of pho add-ins or omit whatever is not needed. Quick note. Tourist towns tend to have star ratings that are over-inflated. So be wary. Two, do not order the phoritto. Lousy offering. I'll post a photo so that you can see. The burrito is stuffed with a large portion of the same vermicelli noodles used in their pho. The noodles are not treated, they are softened and that's it. There is a bit of marinated meats and cilantro. Biggest waste of $ and stomach space, wished I'd have gotten more spring rolls or other appetizer instead. The thing about great pho is, it's all about the broth. Unhindered by sauces which are only added later, the broth should have a great flavor on its own. Cold, snowy day in Breckenridge, so we wanted some soup. Saw this restaurant on Yelp and decided to try. Both waitresses were nice, a bit shy, and soft spoken so, difficult to communicate. Staff not attentive. They did not ask if we wanted drinks or offer any water until we asked as they were too busy with friends who stopped by to chat. Ordered the crispy egg rolls and steamed buns with pork belly. The egg rolls were very crispy. Tasty. The steamed buns were cold and so was the pork belly. I am used to some sauce in the steamed buns and perhaps if there was some sauce, it would help with the dry pork belly. The wings (pho real house sauce) here are AMAZING. Worth a pin on the map and frankly amongst some of the most memorable I have had. The sauce is a Southeast Asian, garlicky fish sauce-y flavor that is packed with umami but also not overwhelming at all. Other stuff is not bad, relatively authentic - unfair I guess to really compare to food in major cities many times the size of Breck. The pho is pretty pricey as expected due to location of the resto. Trigger warning for the boba tea though - some of the flavors are extremely sweet compared to 100% of bubble teas I have sampled elsewhere (and there are a lot). Ask the staff if you need help picking less sweet options. There is a cute and seemingly semi domesticated fox that seems to haunt the porch outside waiting for food scraps. This is the first bad review I have ever written. But I feel like I had to warn unsuspecting tourists. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The woman was rude. The restaurant was cramped and dirty. The pho is good and not outlandishly pricey for a ski town. I did have a sub par Vietnamese spring roll, so minus one star for that. So we immediately get into the small town of Breckenridge CO and are in need of some food. What do we find a tiny Vietnamese restaurant. Score!! We walk in and the amazing aroma of pho broth got my attention. Being so cold outside there was no other choice to make, this would be our lunch spot for the day. The restaurant isn't very big. There are about 5 tables inside and some outside tables. The minute you walk in you are at the order/prep area for your food. Your food choice is made right in front of you. The tiny restaurant has a few different options on their menu creating lots of variety. The food was amazing. For it to be such a tiny establishment there are serving up some very flavorful food. I had the beef pho broth and it was so tasty. I had my bowl made with everything. The flavors mixed well together. My friend had the chicken Vermicelli Bowl. She skipped the picked veggies. The chicken in the vermicelli bowl was well seasoned. The bowl had just the right amount of spice to it. If I'm ever in the Breckenridge area again I will definitely go back to Pho Real. The inside is pretty small with limited seating. The line to order moved extremely slow and it took an hr for our pho to come out, not totally sure why. Overall pho real was just okay. Really tasty pho right on the edge of town! The staff was very friendly as well and helpful with ordering. The Vietnamese meatballs were tender and the perfect combo to the pho.
