I ordered grilled pork vermicelli to go once the first week it opened. So, so disappointed. What they gave me were two bites of shredded head lettuce, two bites of vermicelli, a few pieces of grilled pork. All for 9$ plus tax. My husband swears he will never go back. Portions are smaller than normal compare to other restaurants. Banh mi was nicely toasted but not enough meat given. The bun bo hue is a little bland and completely not what I am use to. I told her an order of pork spring rolls and she yelled beef or pork politely said pork ordered a kids meal for my 8 years old and she literally started questioning me about her age I said 8 and she literally rolled her eyes my daughter said she doesn't believe me. She didn't have to be so rude she could of easily said she is too big she can't order that. Today was the day I would finally try noodle soup! This nice, new place was close and extremely quaint. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The prices were extremely affordable and the portions were large. We tried two of the beef broth soups, steamed rice, fried egg and a French bread roll and everyone left full and satisfied. It filled up quickly around lunch time so plan to get there early. We highly recommend it and the have a huge takeout menu as well that many take advantage of. read more

For food, I rate it a five star. Nevertheless, I docked two stars due to tapioca/taste of the tea and service. I don't tend to provide feedback but since it is a fairly new establishment just thought to give it. Well, it was not received so well and the cashier even made a comment. Overall, the process is quite fast. The server did not check back at all, so had to ask others to assist with additional requests. I want to give this place a 5 star but I feel like it's still too new. Also , I don't want them to start getting comfortable and slip up. Besides, they are n0t perfect YET. Close, but not there yet. The pho here was amazing I had the Beef and my boyfriend had the chicken. Of course we tried each other's, and it was worth it. We both got a meal and I got a drink and with the tip I paid under $30 so they are very responsibly priced. Nice clean and quit environment. Seating was quick, and the restrooms are really clean. After moving to the area, we knew we needed to find a good pho shop to take the family whenever they visit. I'm a huge fan of the Midtown location on Milam St., so I had high hopes for this location. I've only had the pho, so I can't say for their other dishes, but I feel like the pho broth is weaker/not as flavorful as I would prefer, so I think I'd rate the food as "just okay". My family seems to like it though, so that's why we still come here. The staff are more friendly here, I guess the suburban area makes for a more calming setting than Midtown. The storefront is very clean and open, with a modern approach to decor. The parking can get tricky during peak brunch times since they share with First Watch. read more

Great little spot nestled close to Memorial Herman and with an awesome price point makes it hard to pass on. Very large space you are greeted and seated fairly quickly. The menu is fairly straighttforward but I really appreciated the customer service and advice on what to get. Both broths are very good and come out incredibly quick. The egg rolls come out crispy and are a good side to add on. Generally I preferred the meat to the chicken but both were solid with plenty of protein mixed in with a decent helping of noodles. The side additions to the pho were fresh and added a good kick of flavor. They also sport a kids meal that brings a slightLy smaller portion of pho with or without a drink and an egg roll which were greatly appreciated and super handy. we tried getting to go orders from here but we didnt like the food and we thought we should try dining in. we did. we still didnt like it and on top of it, the guy taking our order got both our orders wrong. i asked for water with lemon and the guy gave me just ice. i order #30(beef stew) and my husband ordered #11 (pho with steak only) we both got a different order. We came in late at night after the dinner rush. We're rushing to order before we sat down because why're said the kitchen was gonna closed. Fine. Felt so rushed and I hate that. Ordered 2 grilled pork chop and rice to make it easy on the kitchen. Since the pork chops are pre-cooked and just heat up to order, the rice is steamed ready plus garnish are easy to put on top. The two rice dishes cane out so cold like they were not being heat up due to the kitchen focus closing. While we were there ( only 25 mins) eating, the servers swiping, moping all the dust and trash around us. I couldn't enjoy my dinner so I stood up and left. Won't be back. Food is nothing to brag about. I ordered take out from here. Last time I asked for 3 chili paste on the side with my order for 2 people. The older Vietnamese man at the counter said "two only". I'm sorry but if I had ate there, you wouldn't have said "two only". Food is not that great. The bread on the sandwiches are dry and the meat doesn't have much flavor. So we go to this Vietnamese restaurant pretty often and didn't really have a problem until today. Ordered an two spring roll appetizer, two bahn mi, and a vermicelli dish. Asked for some hoisin and Siracha packets since I like a bit of both on almost everything I eat. As the cashier was about to do the right thing and give me 3 packets of each, a reasonable amount, there was a old lady behind the counter who mumbled something in Vietnamese and the cashier ended up just giving me a packet of each.
