Will never go back to Pho Saigon in Pearland... We have been dining here for the last 3 years even ordered out during the pandemic but have never experienced anything like this before here or at any other restaurants in my life. Yesterday May 14 around 1 pm I took my parents and my brothers from CA to Pho Saigon for lunch. There was 7 of us. We asked for ice water and lemon, the waiter (big build guy) brought out 4 water and 4 pieces of lemon. We waited and thought he would bring out more but he didn't so we asked for more water and lemon. He brought out more water but no lemon. We placed the food order, then my mom decided she'd like some hot tea so we again placed the order for tea and he asked us in a very irritated voice "is there anything else this last time"? We told him no. But we waited and thought he'd bring out more lemon but he didn't, so my 86 years old dad asked "can we have more lemon". He angrily yelled at my dad and said "I asked earlier if you need anything else and you said no and now you wanted more". I immediately told him "don't talk to an elderly person like that or your customers for that matters". He aggressively lunged at me and said "what do you want woman" as if he was ready to hit me. The manager/owner ran over to stop him but he pushed back and still yelled at me. Then my brother told him "that's very rude of you to speak to your customers like that", he immediately and aggressively turned to my brother and wanted to fight. The owner ran over but didn't apologize to us (maybe he didn't have time) but kept pulling the waiter to the kitchen. We all get up to leave, as we were leaving I informed the customers there that the waiter was very rude, hostile and is dangerous to stay around and we will never come back so we all immediately left the restaurant and went to Yummy Pho instead and had a great meal and were treated courteously. read more

I'm sad to say I am very disappointed. I usually have no issues when placing a Togo order but today was a different story I order to large bowls of bbh and came home to two styrofoam cup melted and broth is all in the plastic bag had to cut a tiny hole in the bag to pour out the broth into my pot then scoop out the styrofoam pieces. I don't know if I will be coming back I'm all about supporting small businesses but this is a big no no read more

Staff was rude and I felt rushed through the entire meal. Our server cut-off my wife while she was simply asking for the children's bowl to not have "greens" to say that it didn't come with vegetables like we were supposed to know that already. The prices on everything had been raised which I understand because of the current state of inflation, but the sizes and quality did not grow or maintain the same. We order Vietnamese eggrolls and they were skimpy at best. The lettuce it came with was completely white and small like we got the scraps. The eggrolls were chewie and barely had a crisp to them. When I mentioned it to our server he just looked at me and didn't say anything before walking away. This was not our first time here and we have actually been coming here since it opened after frequently visiting the one in Midtown area. We were extremely excited that this one had opened but after visiting today I don't know if we will be returning. read more

Mediocre at best. The beef broth lacked serious depth. The onions in the pho looked and tasted like they were white onions. I should have known my meal would be off by the spring rolls. They had one small shrimp cut in half. So, yeah, save those calories or make the drive to Midtown. read more

Let me start my review by saying that I am fiercely loyal to my last Pho restaurant and only ventured to this one because I am moving to the area. This fact may have tainted my view. We got seated pretty quick which I can appreciate. It took several minutes to get a server and we ordered drinks and food at the same time. Just not a fan of that, as I used to be a server. Egg rolls were yummy although the fish oil sauce was very pungent. Spring rolls were less than desirable as we added grilled chicken and it was very tough. As far as my pho, it was typical but the broth lacked a lot of flavor aside from salt. It wasn't very full bodied. Portions were sold as I still had a lot left in my large. Water had an odd taste to it but again, new to the area. Overall solid choice and we saw a TON of people picking up ToGo orders so clearly the people in the area are fond of this place. read more

Ordered food to-go online and it was prepared quickly. The pho is delicious (pho ga thit trang), but there really isn't much of a difference in the portion size from a small to a large ($1 more) besides more broth. Rating mainly based on food. Restaurant just opened and the servers, while quick to seat you, are still struggling to keep up with the entire room. Not a big disappointment, it's their soft opening. The exterior of this restaurant belies the service and food on the inside. It is located in a small strip mall but there is plenty of parking. You are immediately greeted at the door by a friendly server and seated without slowing your walk. To be fair, we came for lunch on a weekday. The place got busy but everyone I saw was greeted the same. The pho is deep and flavorful and reminds me of Vietnam. There was no wait for the food either, delivery to the table was fast. My first time having pho in Pearland. I ordered takeout on a Sunday afternoon. Over the phone, I order "pho thai chin" only to come home to just a regular pho thai. I didn't let that bother me since it could've been busy at the moment and there could've been a reason why the person on the phone wasn't able to repeat my order. Definitely for future occurrences, have them repeat your order. Simple mistakes that are fixable. The pho broth tasted too artificial to me. Way too much green onions. A no for me. There were just as many workers as there were customers. The place was clean & spacious. The food came out quick. There was nothing special about taste. The broth taste was not bad. First time coming to this restaurant at noon. i had the Pha Ga. The food was good and it came out quickly. That's why I gave it 2 stars. The rest of it was not positive. The sign said to wait to be seated so I stood upfront for at least 3-5 minutes before somebody even acknowledged that I was standing there. They were not super busy at the time. A young girl saw me and finally told me to sit anywhere. After that, nobody came to take my order for at least 10 minutes. I almost went up to the counter to ask for somebody to help me. After I got my food, nobody checked on me and I needed a fork and my waiter never brought the bill. I just went to the front and paid. Super poor service. They did appear busy when I left and slightly understaffed. I won't go there again. read more

Pretty good lunch spot. The service is always polite and I like getting their rice plates. My go-to is #53 chargrilled pork with an egg roll. It also comes with veggies, a small bowl of broth. The food comes out quite fast and they have a large selection of smoothies. They do get a little busy during lunch. read more

My husband & I went to Pho Saigon to support small businesses during this time! We found very negative attitudes when we arrived for pick up. No greeting upon arrival or a "thank you" when leaving. And the portions are ALOT smaller than I imagined. More like child- portion sizes..... I know it's hard times from Covid19, but things like this definitely won't make someone want to return! I hope the staff works on being more positives (with more welcoming personalities) towards customers who are supporting them & other local restaurants. read more

I stopped in right after this place opened and I had mixed feelings. I've wanted a nice pho place near the house, but I wasn't super impressed by how bland the food was. I figured I'd write a brief review and update it if I should go back. I will say that that there ample parking, the venue is clean and there is ample seating. This is for the pho Saigon on Broadway in West Pearland, across the street from the highschool. You can find beef vermicelli noodle soup discuss, banmi sandwiches, and spring/egg rolls here. Seating is wide and spacious great to bring the family here. Biggest criticism is no changing tables in the restrooms. I'll admit there is better pho out there, bu this place is probably one of the best of not the best pho in Pearland. Been to four other places in Pearland and I've never been back to them. The service here is better than the typical Asian restaurant in this price range. I love to order over the phone on the way there, food is ready for me to carry out. One time they left out part of my order and the management doubled what they left out for customer appreciation. I probably come here 4-5 times a month on average. read more

The Pho was great, the servers were friendly. The concept/operation could improve. Having a "wait to be seated sign" then you go pay at the counter when you're done eating is a bit unconventional. They also need to either refill drinks or put out a refill station. Overall, good food and friendly people. Maybe they can get the ops side figured out soon. read more

The moment I sipped on the broth, I knew I found my new go-to pho place in Pearland. For a small bowl of pho at $6.75, I was surprised with how much meat it was packed with because I've experienced some places that skimped out on the meat. I got a #16 which had eye round steak, well done flank, and fatty brisket. The eye round steak and well done flank were great. However, the fatty part of the fatty brisket was very rubbery to me and hard to chew so next time I'll skip out on this. I added a side of meatballs to which my delight was juicy. The fresh spring rolls were rather average but still good! Would definitely get again to satisfy my endless craving for spring rolls dipped in peanut sauce. When they first opened I didn't like their pho but gave it another try and have been eating here for a while now, much improved. But tonight that changed, I walked into the restroom where there was an employee using the facilities. I waited until he was done so I could do the same. This individual proceeded to the sink and ran water over his hands for every bit of two seconds, no soap, and wiped his hands on his shirt to dry them. Of course I was in disbelief. I was shocked when i turned the counter and dude was putting food on a tray to take to customers. It is definitely a traditional Vietnamese restaurant From the Decour to the bland looking menu. I was hoping for more but I didn't get that. FOOD: I ordered the number 52 with a eggroll and that was a chargrilled chicken and rice plate with the typical carrots cucumber situation. I've got to be honest it was cool but nothing spectacular at all. My friend ordered the Pho she said it was bland and had to keep adding things to it to get the right flavor. Drink: I ordered a Vietnamese coffee Be Aware this coffee is a small glass halfway filled with sweetened condensed milk and with a very strong coffee dripping straight into the glass from a strainer. Solid spot for pho, I've been there probably 5 times since they've opened and always loved their pho. The veggies are clean and fresh, the broth is fantastic and they don't skimp on the meat. However today, I ventured beyond the first page of the menu and tried their grilled pork chops with rice. It was meh. The meat had a nice grilled flavor but it was dry as could be. Thank goodness this place exists because there's not many good Pho places in Pearland. The restaurant is actually clean-looking, which I can't really say about many Asian places, and it's usually pretty packed during lunchtime, especially on cold days.
