I used to love this place until yesterday. I ordered a large beef ball soup and FOUR extra beef balls. The basic order was about $16 (90% soup), they added $5.50 for the extra beef balls. When I got home I looked in the container and they had cut ONE beef ball into FOUR pieces! That extra beef ball was smaller than a golf ball. I called and they said, "oh we make them here and they are very big so we cut them in four pieces"; logic is if they made them there they could have made them smaller so they wouldn't need to cut them in quarters. Plus, they are so perfectly round they look machine-made, so they probably buy them for 25 cents each. I don't know about you, but in good conscience, I have to find another Vietnamese place where they give you what you order at a fair price. read more

Finally, a good pho place. Growing up all around the bay area, there was always great asian restaurants around me. There's not many options in Marin, so I'm glad this place popped up. and it's GOOD. The Pho broth is very flavorful, clear, and not oily. As pho broth should be. Definitely, a place i would go on a rainy day for a hot soup. You can't go wrong with a BBQ rice plate either. The place is beautiful. It is like eating in an lovely Asian garden with lanterns, only you're inside! And there is outdoor seating, too, but go for the food!! They have a wide variety of Vietnamese soups and rice bowls, as well as appetizers with pictures on the menu to to help you make your selection. I slurped up some yummy seafood pho, amazed at the generous amount of tasty shrimps and fish cakes included. Staff was friendly and helpful. My wife and I have been here twice now. She gets the pho soup with everything. I have tried the pho with just rare beef. I've also had the chicken noodle soup with wontons. Everything has been fresh and delicious. The interior of the restaurant is super clean and well decorated. Bathrooms are well maintained as well. Service is friendly and quick. So excited to see a new Vietnamese restaurant open in Marin! First impression, the staff is so friendly and welcoming and I love the decor! They have outside seating as well. I saw on another comment about having people from different ethnic backgrounds cooking Vietnamese food and for y'all to completely ignore that. I'm pretty sure they can make 1000% better than that person or I even ever could and that was very uncalled for/racist as well. Coming into the store was literally amazing, I felt welcomed, and the staff are beyond kind. Not only that, I'm Vietnamese and I'll like to admit that in my entire 22-23 years of living on this earth, this spot definitely took the cake on having one of the best flavors of broth and pho ever created and served. I was excited to try the new Pho place in town. Clean, hip vibe, waiting staff is friendly, menu is simple...that's where the goodness ends. We ordered egg rolls, shrimp and rice and chicken and vermicelli. The egg rolls tasted like they were premade frozen. Nothing that said these were Vietnamese rolls. Shrimp and chicken were supposed to be bbq. They both came in a very strange glaze/sauce. I asked what it was and they described it as ginger, lemongrass, and soy sauce, but it was more like watered down soy sauce only. Unfortunately we left hungry and won't be back. read more

I never write reviews but I had to hop on here to give a huge shout out to Pho! I had the wonton Pho and it was seriously some of the most flavorful Pho I've had in recent times. The broth was aromatic, light, and super flavorful. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. The noodles were thin tasty bouncy egg noodles and the shrimp dumplings sent the soup over the top. Don't forget to try their house made chili oil! I seek out Vietnamese food and this is definitely at the top of the list in Marin for me. My friend ordered the rare beef Pho and it was excellent too. Large dining area, very attentive/sweet/professional staff, super clean, and out of this world Vietnamese coffee. Do yourself a favor and grab a meal with a friend there! read more

The combo beef pho is excellent. The spring roll is crispy. Especially like the beautiful decor.

Legit Pho. Some other things are a bit catered to white people's tolerance but other than that-u will find the broth is southern Vietnamese good. Place was clean, spaced out, cool staff, no crazy waits, clean bathroom, fast service, cool utensils and bowls, chill for a date, good for kids, outdoor dining, credit cards and overall a legit easy spot. read more
