I was so hungry, when I ordered my chicken noodle soup and happy to receive it in a timely manner..but wait! There's a BUT! The chicken was all white chicken breast beautiful looking but the proof is in the pudding and or tasting, not able to resist that luscious looking chicken I swiftly gobble up a nice size piece only to chew into it and notice an odd (Not chicken) flavor I quickly spewed it from my mouth and chucked it aside, it tasted old..like it was cooked frozen and the recooked ,in fact it was dry and hard as well..hmmmm? Questioning myself I ate some noodles ehh! Not to bad but not what I was hoping for.. I decided to give the chicken another try, looking around the broth for a nice smaller juicy looking piece in hope the 1st bite was just a fluke......10 seconds late-er) spewed it out and Nooo...nothing had changed ,I'm so so disappointed I didn't eat the rest of the noodles or broth 3 bites in was enough for me .... Sooo.. I don't know about the rest of their foods but the chicken noodle pho is a definite no go for me and Yeah I think this place is to... to me if you have a food business and want return customers you should put out the freshest food there is with a quality taste ... to me they were trying to cut corners and time by cooking ahead and freezing food to save on both time and money.. bad idea in my way of thinking...ehh! I've literally created a Yelp account just to write a review. This place is NOT good at all!!!! My kids and I looove pho... so we figured we'd try this place out! I decided I wanted the pad Thai and my two kids got the pho. They brought out the Pad Thai and I took one bite and it tasted rancid. But, I was like maybe it was just that bite. I go in to take another bite and had to spit it back out. The chicken tasted old and it was soooo bad. I informed our waitress about it and felt bad because normally I'd just fight through and eat an order because I don't like to waste but it was just not good and knew I'd get sick eating it. When I told her she looked very upset and annoyed... I put the plate aside thinking she'd take it.... I asked to see if I could just get a bowl of pho instead and she said okay then walked away rolling her eyes. They brought the soup out and I ate it. When we went to pay the lady said she talked to the manager and said I still had to pay for the plate and I had to pay half. I told them no way... it tastes disgusting and rancid. The chicken tasted old and I will not pay for it! She continued to argue that it was fine, they just cooked it and it marinated all night... I said that may be the case but it still didn't taste right and tasted old. The way she was looking at me and treating me was absolutely disgusting... mean girl status like from the mean girl movie... I ended up just paying the half and for our pho soups so we could just get out of there. I did not tip them because of how horrible my experience was and she saw she looked upset. But, as I was walking out I was holding the door for my kids and I could see inside that the waitress and waiter were laughing at the counter like they did something horrible and knew it. My daughter saw the same thing and we were like what the heck. I kid you not... not only ten minutes later I felt sooooo sick and ended up with the worst stomach ache and was in the bathroom most the night. Either just the one bite I ate messed me up that bad or they put something in my soup. My kids did not get sick, just me and was crying all night! I will NEVER go back there again. I'm writing a google review as well and contacting all I need to in order for whomever to go out and inspect. Beyond that they were just rude, seemed upset and annoyed the minute we even walked in. Please save your time, money and stomachs and DO NOT go to this restaurant. Leaving one star only because I can't just pick nothing. read more

This place is way by far the worst pho places I have ever been too. I go to pho Hong, pho Van, pho corner...etc I waited for 15mn to be taken orders and also water didn't come when we were waiting. Waited for food over 25mn and still not come out. There weren't lots of customers at all. This place can't handle volume of customers. So service is bad. Environment is ok. Didn't get to eat food yet. Wanted to walk out, but wife said just wait. We just walked out at the end. I truly not recommend this place for people wanted to have a good experiences at the pho place. Came here with a friend who said this place was on his top 5 for pho. We were greeting pretty quickly upon arriving but after that the service was pretty slow. I feel like the wait after we put our orders in was pretty long. The prices were about average. I got the seafood pho and the flavor of the broth was really good, the noodles were also a good consistency. I did feel the actual meat was a little slim but overall i was pretty satisfied. This is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant when I have a craving -- great prices and generous portions. The flavor tastes authentic and just like home. I tried pho sen for the first time today and ordered the chicken pho, wonton noodle, and beef stew. The pho broth was not edible and had a strange instant mix taste to it. The beef stew had very little veggies and meat and the broth tasted like a super oily beef pho soup. The wonton noodle soup was ok, but the wontons had a very sweet, peppery taste that I did not enjoy. Overall not impressed and wont be eating here agin. read more

Tasty pho spot! We stopped by this gem and ordered salad rolls with spam and omg.. game changer. It was deliciously fried and paired well with the fresh greens, vermicelli and soft rice paper. Dipping this with the peanut sauce was magic. We also ordered 2 orders of large pho (of course!!) and it was delicious, too. The amount of tripe and tendon to meat and noodles was very great, too!! I really wish we lived close by so we can come back, but I'm very sure the next time we are in Clackamas, this will be our go-to! Aside from the delicious food, the service was very welcoming and friendly. The lovely woman working brought us water and took down our order. The salad rolls are massive. We got two orders because we had no idea... We haven't touched the second order but I'm not upset we have them, they'll be great tomorrow! We also ordered the Banh Mi- it was really tasty and fresh, the bread was perfect. We also ordered salt and pepper squid and added onions, SO tasty with quite large pieces of squid. They truly don't skimp. My only issue was that they forgot to put one of the sauces in the bag but life happens! They were very prompt in fixing this and I have zero complaints. read more

I really like this place. The people are so nice and attentive. I've eaten here a couple of times thus far, and both time had the vegetarian pho which is lovely. This is a cute little place in a strip mall. My daughter and I visited one Thursday afternoon when the craving for Pho just got to be too much and we were pleasantly surprised. The meat is perfectly seared and there is plenty of it, the rice noodles are not over or under cooked, and the veggies tasted really fresh and good. Went there for dinner with my wife since she was willing to accommodate anywhere I wanted to go. It had been over 1 week since I had phò. She doesn't eat Vietnamese or Thai food too often and is slightly allergic to fish. She ordered pad Thai without fish sauce. The server returned stating it was typically made with Oyster sauce, we asked if they could just not add it and the cook refused. We asked for just stir fried noodles with chicken and vegetables. My son and I love pho and decided to try this spot. We had the pho with beef flank and steak, egg rolls and it was all very good. The food was ready to go when I arrived and they were very nice when I asked them for a few additional items. The broth for the pho was spot on! A nice treat! The only thing I would have liked was a bigger bowl to mix in all of my extras(sprouts, basil, and more yummy soup). Came to Pho Sen 2 because it was close to home but wasn't expecting much because of the mixed reviews. We had great service and the food was really good. We had the A1 sampler appetizer and all got the round steak pho. The place and food was very clean and we all thought the food was delicious and flavorful. We'll definetely start coming here and I'm happy we have a good place for pho close by and not have to go all the way to Portland for good pho. read more
