This place should be named Pho and Mo'! Yelp had me expecting noodle bowls and bubble tea, but there's a huge menu with pages and pages of stir fry, appetizers, and yes - bubble tea and 2 pages of pho, vermicelli and pan-fried noodles. It's a large restaurant with a pleasant outdoor dining area and the service was friendly. I got mushroom prawns with soft tofu, because I had to see what "oyster sauce in light tomato sauce" was. The prawns were plentiful and nicely cooked. The sauce was OK but not as highly flavored as I like, and the portion left room for Angela's ice cream. Still, compared to the other lunch places nearby, I felt I'd made a good choice. While browsing the reviews, I saw a comment on the 3.5% credit card fee, which I wouldn't otherwise have noticed before the check. On one page the menu says a $0.90 fee on swipes under $10; it needs to be updated. A quick look around inside the restaurant didn't turn up any notices, but I could have missed them. read more

Ordered via doordash. Ordered a eggroll vermicelli bowl and combo beef pho with extra tendon. Preferred pho place in the north bay currently, the order was completed 15-20 minutes. What I particularly love about getting take out here is they place the pho items in a bowl that's microwaveable with separate soup container all in a plastic bag. Simple and easy to eat, they don't provide utensils without asking but do provide hoisin and siracha packets automatically. The quality of the meat and amount they give is great here compared to other places I've been in the north bay. The soup wasn't as strong as I prefer but that's a personal preference, my boyfriend said it tasted great and it's not over salted which is my main concern. The vermicelli bowl was perfect although I did transfer to my own bowl since it would be messy to eat in the small container they use, three nicely sized egg rolls and a good amount of sauce. My boyfriend says this is the best vermicelli bowl he's had so far up north and the egg rolls were super good. Will definitely order from here again. read more

Had eaten here a couple times in the past, but felt completely ripped off and will not return after this last experience. Poor service and way over priced items. Ordered Thai iced teas, $8 each! If we are sitting down inside the restaurant, why would we be served in plastic cups with lids instead of glasses? Ordered calamari to start. Tiny portion on a skillet that had 8 small pieces and mostly bell pepper and onions. $19! Refused and returned. Two Bahn Mi sandwiches ($14 each), one beef one pork. They did not know which was which when brought out. Another person called over that picked up the rolls with their fingers in order to figure out. Both had hardly any meat. Like one small thin slice and a lot of veggies. We get the bill and noticed that they charged $2 extra for "no boba" in the Thai iced tea? What? They took that off. What was charged to my credit card was greater than the bill total. They are deceitfully adding an extra service charge to use your credit card. Will never return. read more

Two stars I'm from SoCal, and lived in the Bay Area quote some time, pho is a hitter! Stopped by this joint for some Petaluma pho. And omg I've never spent $14 on a bowl of large pho, out tab was $55 bucks for two. My gf had pan fried noodles and table wine and I had pho with Thai tea. Thai tea wasn't good. More cream than usual. The pho broth was pretty good,not so savory, where was the chili oil? Missing so many good condiments. Here's a break down $20 per person a drink and a pho or entree. The pho bowls were a bit of a joke considering how little of the toppings there were like the meat etc. I ordered the garlic beef noodle dish and the noodles were disappointing. The prices on the menu is also way $$$ than normal pho places, but since the north bay lacks asian food diversity, they can get away with it. Typical Marin style pho, more bland and clean. I wish people can understand there is nothing wrong with MSG and there's no scientific proof that it causes any health problems such as claiming of headache or allergies, what a joke. Then you eat fast food or a bag of Doritos, there's msg in there too. MSG is key ingredient for the pho broth. Here broth is weak, high flavors of star anise and cinnamon that couldn't be rounded out with MSG and lack of beef bones for extra beef flavor. Large size was normal size in all other places, smaller I've seen and I've had pho thousands of time everywhere. Let's not get into San Jose or SoCal Westminster pho. Large size seem to have a bit more noodles in a medium bowl. Usually it's more broth, more noodles, more meat, and of course needs to be in a super larger bowl. Was disappointed but didn't expect anything in Sonoma county. We ran out of ideas in Novato and decided to check out booming Petaluma downtown. We have VN noodles in Novato probably best in Marin and it's still not good lol. Spring roll with bbq pork, thought it was the chinese pork cuz you never know. But it's actually Vietnamese grilled bbq pork like in their rice plates. Friendly staff and real Vietnamese but I understand their frustration in making it a "friendly clean" version. Came in the next day after a wedding and this place is huge! Definitely a large menu and prices do reflect the area you're in. Food wise, my Large P1 Pho was good...got San Jose or Westminster good but it hit the spot. Few of us also ordered some Cafe Sua Da, which came out pretty much when we were all done eating. We also felt like we were in an episode of Hell's Kitchen with a slight error on how our group's food came out, leading practically everyone who was dining in the restaurant to hear either the manager, or whoever was running the kitchen staff yelling at their employees in making sure the dishes were prepared correctly. Cool, employees mess up which happens since we're all human but when we hear the yelling, it definitely makes me not want to come back here if the work environment gives out a toxic vibe. Management wise, I was pretty disappointed during the checkout process with a credit card service charge being assessed without my prior knowledge until after the transaction went through. Loved it! We got my daughter the kids chicken chow mein and she pretty much ate it all. And she's a very petite 4 y/o. The waitress was great and the owner was very sweet. The first place we could order pho with just broth and noodles because my son is that picky . Other places just gave us weird looks when we tried to order it like that. I haven't been to Pho for awhile, I was sad to see the former owners gone and that they sold the place to a new family, so I thought I'd give it a try. I was surprised that the food was so great, maybe even better than the last owners, the veggie wraps with peanut sauce were fantastic, as were the deep fried frog legs (my favorite), our other dishes included Tofu curry and orange tofu curry, we cleaned the plate of everything. The service was great, the new owners were very attentive to our needs. Another big plus was the beautiful art on their walls, it was lit up by black lite, the whole wall lit up, as did the menu, it glowed and I could read everything without glasses, there's got to be at least 100 items on their menu, I'm looking forward to working my way thru their food choices in the future, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for some tasty dishes, they have something for everybody. read more

I have not complained about food in years! I ordered shaking beef over garlic noodles. There was an option to "add sides" I chose to add rice for an additional $3. I thought I was getting a side of rice for my toddler but instead they gave me rice instead of noodles. Also there was a despicable amount of meat. This is the entree that costed $22.98. That is not including tax, service charge, tip, just a tiny $23 entree. I called them disappointed that I didn't get noodles and they argued with me and then hung it on me! I typically get the P10 (pho tai) with extra meat and it is hella good. I like how the meat isn't tough and chewy like how a few pho restaurants in San Jose are. The service was standard for any dine-in restaurant and the ambiance is nice with the cute selfie area near the entrance of the door. The broth to noodle portion is definitely off. I felt like I paid too much for just a bowl of broth. The waitress definitely didn't listen when we placed our order. My bf asked if the rare meat is on the side because that's what he wanted. The waitress said yes but when his food came everything was in the bowl. Super accommodating, basically everything on the vegetarian menu is both vegan and gluten free, including the vegan oyster [black mushroom] sauce! They are very nice, knowledgeable, and fast excellent food service! The vegan pho is fantastic! My guy and I each got one, he got regular, i got spicy lemongrass, both delicious. The tofu veggie yellow curry and simmered eggplant were very tasty and we'll be coming back for all of it again! We got the taro boba for dessert with coconut milk, no condensed milk (vegan, no dairy) almond milk also an option. We got 2 bowls of pho and the meat was paper thin and very sparse; not the best tasting either. They also tried to charge us an extra credit card fee even though our bill was $50, so we ended up paying cash. The service was outstanding and kept everything clean and always checking in.
