It is located in a small strip mall, a very nondescript area but this lil spot is a great choice for viet food if you're in the area. They have smoothies, boba, banh mi, rice vermicelli and rice plates. I got the pork rice plate. It comes with pickled carrots and cucumber and nuoc cham on the side with some sambal. The pork is juicy, flavorful and tender. The veggies add a nice fresh contrast. The service was great, the ladies working are nice. Inside, it's clean and they have a few tables to eat. I will return to have more meals from here. read more

I had the char-grilled pork banh mi, and a regular mango smoothie with tapioca. The banh mi portion was big. Baguette was lightly toasted. The pork portion was generous, however the pork was slightly bland. Seasoning was very light. The mango smoothie was good. A refreshing drink for a hot day. Food came out pretty slow. I was first in line but last to receive my food out of three people. There are designated parking spaces for customers of Simply Viet, which is nice. Great service and probably the best Viet sandwich (Banh mi) I've had in a very long time. I was starving so also had the pork vermicelli and a matcha green tea with Crystal Boba. I will definitely be coming back! And the nice lady that helped (I never got her name- she has short haired with beautiful skin) is very personable. It was nice chatting with her while waiting for my food and she made the tea also. All my favorite foods and drinks all in one place! This will be the food stop or boba milk tea stop for me when I'm in the area! Glad I found this little gem! The ingredients are always fresh wether you get a P Banh Mi or Vermicelli that includes: Cucumbers, cilantro, jalapeños, soy sauce, in house mayonnaise and pickled carrots/Daikon or (Lettuce for Vermicelli) Nothing has changed, the quality is just as good as the first time . Good chill place, great price, but service was slow even tho there were very few customers. Parking was very limited, which it is not good when is summer in Texas and you have to wait for somebody to leave their parking spot so you can take it. Also during rush hours and on the weekends there's a lot of traffic in that intersection. So be prepared to stay in the car for some time and then wait for this tool service. But then again the cheap price makes up for it. Also I wish they stay open longer. They close too early on the weekdays so I'm never able to eat there after work. read more

Great place for a quick lunch. I always order the Pork vermicelli bowl here, it is full of flavor and delicious. They give you a generous amount of food for only $5.45! I've also tried their shrimp spring rolls which was not bad but nothing special, wish they served it with more shrimp inside or with added pork. Drinks, I've only had their passion fruit tea with lychee jelly so far and it was refreshing. Next time I will have to try their banh mi and milk tea for sure! The bread is amazing, meat & veggies are perfect. Just pure perfection. The meat can be good at a lot of Vietnamese restaurants but the bread is where it gets tricky. These folks got it down and I think this place is a true gem. Their boba drinks are not overly sweet and taste amazing too. The staff are courteous and super friendly.
