First time here. Ordered large Ben Bo Hue. First time having this dish and was great. Service was super fast only minutes to get my order. Great broth! Will order again.

Loved their Bun Bo hue! It was so good and I'm such a big critic for bun Bo hue. So much flavors and with everything in it. Their service was amazing as well. Such a great place to have lunch or dinner with friends and family. It felt so cozy inside. Their dry noodle with grilled pork and egg rolls was also good as well.

Was looking for a place that has good Bun Bo Hue; got a recommendation from a group on FB. Decided to take a drive and give this place a shot. The Bun Bo Hue did not disappoint, only wish that they serve it with block of blood

I got the grilled pork vermicelli and the spring rolls and they were pretty good! I liked the peanut sauce the spring rolls came with but I thought that the meat in the spring rolls were a bit tough. The grilled pork in the vermicelli was seasoned well and was tender. The service was pretty quick and there was no wait for a table for 7.

I have tried this pho place every single time when I visited Plano/Richardson area for work in last 5 years. Beef broth (soup) here is one of the best. We stopper by for a lunch on a stormy day. Perfect day. Isn't it? Spring rolls just hits the spot with their thick peanut sauce. Service is quick. They'll take the order from your table and you'll get your food within 10 minutes max. Didn't worry too much about their ambiance since I get a very good pho every single time. Hasn't changed one bit since 2022.

Hands down one of if not the best bowl of Bun Bo in DFW. Most locals I've spoken to have said the best is currently Pho An, I ask how? In what way? The bowl here at Tay Do is as I like to praise: "Đậm đà, đầy đủ". The broth is immensely flavorful and well rounded. They give you the sate mam ruoc on the side (Sate chilli mixed with fermented shrimp paste) which is the cherry on top - that's how you know this is legit Bun Bo. The Pho is also great here as well if someone in your party doesn't want the BBH

Bún thịt nướng is one of Vietnam's most beloved street food dishes and for good reason and you can find at PhonTay Do. . It's a vibrant bowl of grilled pork over rice vermicelli, layered with fresh herbs, pickled vegetables, crushed peanuts, and crispy shallots, all tied together with a drizzle of nước chấm, the sweet-savory fish sauce dressing that makes everything sing. Here's what makes a great bowl stand out: Key Elements of a Stellar Bún Thịt Nướng * Grilled Pork: Smoky, tender, and marinated in lemongrass, garlic, and fish sauce. The char is essential. * Fresh Herbs: Mint, basil, and cilantro add brightness and balance. * Pickled Veggies: Julienned carrots and daikon offer crunch and tang. * Nước Chấm: The soul of the dish. Sweet, salty, sour, and spicy in perfect harmony. If you've had a standout version recently, I'd love to hear what made it special--was it the pork, the herbs, or that perfect sauce ratio? We decided to have Vietnamese soup for breakfast. My daughter loved the broth and said she'll come back again. Service was very good.

Best pho I've had in town! Love their chicken pho and their coconut juice is something I crave on a daily basis. It's a cozy ambiance, very casual. Quick service and kind employees. Definitely recommend going.

My grandpa got some blood work done and wanted to eat lunch right after. It was 9 am but a lot of Vietnamese restaurants are open early. We were the only people inside and our order was quickly taken. I got the bun Bo hue, which is a Vietnamese beef noodle soup. It comes with a huge veggie plate as well as a fermented fish paste and a sate chili sauce. They don't skimp on the meat here. I got tons of slices of meat and a single piece of Vietnamese ham. They also give you 4 pieces of bones with skin, meat, and fat around them. The broth is not that spicy unless you add a lot of the chili sate sauce. Overall I loved the meat, they were all tender. The broth however was not as good as I was expecting.

I travel quite the distance to eat at this place, And each and every time, it is always worth it. This has to be my favorite BBH ever. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

On a windy day like today is perfect for a bowl of Bun Bo Hue, a comfort food and, Pho Tay Do's specialty. Coming in they were quite busy, but considering so their service was quick, but since it was a bit of a wait they gave free egg rolls to compensate. I also ordered a rice dish with pork chops, shrimp, veggies and egg, which was beautifully presented with heart shapes on it and had a nice savory flavor to it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

WOW! The braised okra with giant oyster mushroom positively SURPRISED and leap frogged to the top of my preferred vegetable GOTOs...The cumin lamb was SO tender and VERY flavorful. One of the best preparations yet. The Singapore noodle combo and Xao Long Bao did not disappoint... More importantly, the service we received was attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. Sadly, the eggplant with garlic sauce is the ONLY reason a star is withheld for this review...it detracted from traditional Chinese style; notes of garlic eviscerated by the chef's sweetening to satisfy an American palette...Why fix something that's unbroken?...I get it. The restaurant has to cater to its customers who populate this mix use (business/lease residential) area at the NW corner of Alma and Hwy 121, but doesn't that limit its draw? Guess we'll just have to head either further south on Central (HWY 75) to the Legacy & Spring Creek areas or further west to the Preston and Warren Pkwy Frisco TX area to satisfy our authentic Chinese cuisine food cravings.

Prior to driving there, I call the restaurant to ask if they could accommodate me -- and they said yes. I got the chicken ramen and subbed for katsu protein, shrimp tempura, karaage and milk tea and my friend got the black garlic ramen. The karaage came out tossed in a an acidic sauce with sesame seeds -- almost like saucy wings. This caught me off guard because the menu does not indicate it would be covered in sauce -- and we didnt want it sauced. Shrimp tempura had 3 shrimps and the rest vegetables. Another surprise because the menu listed shrimp tempura as an item on its own, and then another line item for vegetable tempura. My assumption is this is a cost saving approach -- and while I have no problem with that, transparency would be good for customers. Just list out what is included in the dish so no one is surprised. The ramen was disappointing. The broth came out clear (like water -- i wouldnt dare compare it to pho because pho broth is packed with flavor). There was absolutely no flavor. It was the only ramen on the menu that I could have (again not what I was told when I called). I asked for soy sauce, chili oil and even dumped the leftover sauce from my tempura into the liquid broth and still it could not be saved. The black garlic broth was also bland. Neither of us finished the meal. Service was slow, only one girl working the entire dining room, (it was a weekend so packed). We waited for a while, they forgot my milk tea and it was impossible to flag the waitress until the very end. The only plus, they are extremely generous with the eggs.

It is so fragrant, umami, and simply delicious. The west lake soup is also a classic done so well - pro tip to add white pepper to give it a little kick. The steamed pork belly was okay - sauce is flavorful (a touch salty) along with the preserved greens but the pork wasn't as tender as I had remembered it. If you don't like fish, you can get the same flavor with the pork version of this dish, which I also really like.
