The small little restaurant probably has the biggest menu of a receive l o l so many choices. I always play it safe and order the pho. They are pretty consistent, generous portions and reasonably priced. Lisa, our waitress, always takes great care of us and is always super friendly. Parking here can be a little tricky.As there is a limited amount and the stalls are tiny and there's a lot of businesses in this shopping area. The decor is cute.They put up a lot of pink flowers on the ceiling.I would hate to clean that. Check out their large selection of smoothies also. Four stars , because , as with many asian restaurants , they like to leave all their supplies in the main dining area where patrons can see them
We came to Pho Thanh after Day 1 of EDC. Man this placed was packed! I could tell the staff was feeling over whelmed. Unfortunately they didn't have a good system to take queue. The person behind us which was a larger party got seated firs- they split their party into two tables. We ended up sharing a large table with another party which was fine. The food took about 30 mins to arrive but the food made up for it. It was such a delicious bowl of pho, which I really needed that day! The broth is so good, probably the best broth in a pho that I've had. The food was a 5 Star but the messy sitting system was a 3! I definitely plan to come back when in touch, hopefully they learn how to plan for a big crowd coming into town.
The owner is very nice & accommodating. Food came out fast. Fried rice was good. The pho is light to taste. If you like it a little more robust flavor, can add fish sauce and other condiments to your taste. The restaurant ambience is nice and can accommodate large parties. Lots of variety of food and drinks to choose from.
Very floral decor in the place. The waitress was super sweet but the food unfortunately didn't live up to its ratings here. I got the bun bo hue. It didn't have all the usual fixings I'm use to in the soup no pork hock or pigs blood or beef really... just lots of unrecognizable sliced meats. The soup was super duper greasy where I couldn't get myself to drink it. It was the worst bowl I have ever had and I have had plenty. The 4 star is because the waitress was nice and cute decor but the food was less than 1 star in my book.
Came here after a long night of drinking and partying ... the food was ok . The Thai tea was mid. I usually prefer with half and half. The actual pho was good but the broth was very "thick " spring rolls were good. Service was ok ... I would try another spot before returning . The place is nice and cozy inside . Very authentic
Checked this place out for Mother's Day as I was craving pho. It wasn't too busy when we arrived at around 1015 though it got busy. We ordered Pho tai Bo VIEN, Nuoc Mia, spring rolls, banh mi and banh xeo. The food was pretty good for this area. The pho was amazing- the broth did not need anything extra. We originally did not get the banh xeo as the waitress told us it was a 40 min wait for the item but then I overheard her tell an older Vietnamese gentleman that it would be 15-20 minute wait. That rubbed me the wrong way, so I decided to add it to our order. It definitely was not 40 minutes. It took about the same amount of time as getting our other items. Surprisingly. The pho took the longest to come out. If you can get by the wait times, this place is worth it. It was extremely affordable. The store is small, only one walk way path and a part of their restaurant was used for storage. I'd come back and order Togo tbh. The workers were nice but I thought service could have been better. Maybe they were overwhelmed , who knows but lost a star for that. Parking lot is quite busy, but it seems to rotate quickly. (Cars left and came often!)
At least they have dedicated parking spots? Pho Thanh (not related to any other spots; Thanh is a common Vietnamese given name) is a restaurant that quietly opened post-pandemic in the same plaza as New Asian BBQ. I've been getting back into trying Vietnamese food lately after the last one was surprisingly good, so I figured why not the closest one right across the street? Sadly, the pho here is the same overpriced, mediocre offering you'll get at most Vegas spots. Even though my Pho Dac Biet ($16.00) was prepared very quickly, suggesting that they have a bowl of piping hot broth ready to go in the back, the broth was not very flavorful. It just didn't have enough spices or overall savoriness. The portion was modest too, and with no apparent option for a larger size. On top of that, one of the beef cuts was outright extremely difficult to chew. The lime and basil were fine, but both were a little on the dry side. I wasn't done though. The sandwiches looked affordable enough to try, and House Special Combination ($6.50), aka Banh Mi Dac Biet, and Beef Brisket ($6.50), aka Banh Mi Pho Cam Tay, both sounded interesting enough. The Banh Mi Dac Biet probably could have been legitimately good with pate to complement those pork slices, but just mayo didn't do the trick and I'm pretty sure pate isn't even available as an optional add-on. It also needed a few more pickled veggies to hit the right ratio. I know these things aren't free, but I'll pay more if it tastes right. The Banh Mi Pho Cam Tay was a little more intriguing. The brisket was plentiful and meaty yet tender. The lack of veggies didn't quite bother me as much since this is supposed to be pho brisket, but I didn't really get a ton of pho flavor either. Maybe they could go full dip style by adding a side of pho broth, go for a gimmicky option by adding hoisin sauce, or just add a dusting of spices. Service is passable in the sense the food comes out quickly, but you'll have to wave someone over if they forgot something (which they didn't). The music was from some local "jazz and more" radio station, so it did the trick to fill the quietness of the off-peak hours. As much as I want to support all or any Vietnamese restaurants in Las Vegas, Pho Thanh simply needs to do better in the flavoring and execution of their food. It remains disappointing how other cuisines in Vegas have advanced while Vietnamese remains stuck in a rut and leaving me longing for California.
I placed an order online through their website because I was in a rush and wanted my food within 15 mins. When I got to the restaurant and looked at the menu, I realized the online prices were like $1-$4 more per item and they charged $3.45 online platform fee. I paid $78.17 for one order of chicken wings, two orders of egg rolls, one special combo banh mi, and one bun bo hue. They gave us no lettuce or any other accompaniments for the egg rolls, just sauce. They gave hardly any vegetables for the bun bo hue. A little but of cabbage and bean sprouts and tiny bit of basil, onions and cilantro. No chili oil, no shrimp paste. On top of everything, my order came out late!! I
No definitely not and would not return ever! We gave them another chance because they were the only place in town that offer somewhat of a shareable Vietnamese meals. In laws was in town and they are Vietnamese so we figured they would like this place, Such a disappointment! Food for the most part was just ok but they tried serving us some spoiled shrimp on our Cahn chua shrimp it was so gross that the shrimps was covered In black spots everywhere which tells me the shrimp was old or was re froze.My in laws refused to eat it and called it out to the server because you can get sick eating it,they asked them if we wanted a different Cahn chua w fish and they agreed.They tried to remake the Cahn chua w a whole cat fish? Skin and all, That was the most disgusting soup ever,it tasted so fishy and that's all you pretty much tasted.Never again going to this place or suggest this place ever. The server we had was nice and attentive and he apologized about the whole shrimp situation,but would we go back ever no. They tried to renovate this place from the first time we came a while back and honestly it's a little tacky with the whole pink flowers themed, even my in laws thought that was a little odd. They got rid of their little mini weird mart going on the right side of the restaurant open up to more tables but when you come in they still have tables full of fruits and other things.
My husband and I wanted to try this Vietnamese place and overall food was great. We had their shaking beef and combination pho with spring rolls for the appetizer. The place was busy when we were there on a weekend but worth visiting. We will definitely be coming back to try their bang mi and fruit drinks.
I've always come here for the pho and banh mis, but finally had a chance to visit with my gal pals to try their family-style plates! I'd been seriously craving Vietnamese catfish soup (canh chua), so of course I had to get that--and paired it with the clay pot caramelized catfish and stir-fried rau muống (water spinach). So good and comforting, especially after a night out with the girls. They also have some grab-and-go items near the register, which I always end up picking up--super convenient. Everything was tasty, and I'm already looking forward to our next girls' lunch or late night eats since they open late. read more

I love Pho Tanh! Amazing pho and I love the Thai teas and cold drinks. The spring rolls are very fresh here. The atmosphere here is so chill clean and recently remodeled which looks marvelous! Service is always on point very nice server and attentive. Tia place will always by my top 3 pho in the valley highly recommended! read more
This place is worth exploring. I wanted to come because they have a wider range of dishes than the usual pho and bun and banh mi. I love those dishes, but it's great to branch out. We LOVED the clay pot catfish, which was meaty and sweet and rich. The ong choy and pork belly both had great texture, but were a little on the salty side for us. That meant it was particularly important to have the rice, which was not included -- pay the $5 for it. We hope to try the catfish tom yum next time. Dac biet banh mi was first rate. The pâté and cold cuts were more flavorful than I've found at some other places. Informal room; friendly service. read more

Amazing broth and every ingredient tastes really fresh. Wide variety of drinks you can choose from and flavors. Was shocked to see blueberry flavors on a menu. Service was amazing, they were very attentive and friendly. The venue is beautiful with dangling fake flowers, colorful chairs and all natural lighting. Love how they have snacks up at the counter. So pretty it does not feel like Vegas in here at all read more

First time trying out Pho Thanh after passing by it for years! We came on a late Saturday night with a craving for pho. Everything came out quick and our soups came out nice and hot. There was a bunch of meat in the combination pho and huge oxtails in the oxtail pho my friend ordered. The portion sizes are great! The spring rolls were fresh and did not skimp out on any ingredients. I also ordered the sugar cane juice and it was so refreshing! Prices weren't so bad for pho these days and the menu was extensive with Vietnamese favorites. I will be back! read more

Worst experience I have for a Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the Bun Mang Ga (Bamboo Shoot with Chicken noodle soup). All received was their left over chicken bones from their soup based and watery soup. I can't believe this would be acceptable. This area is on the rough side of chjnatown where few cars have been broken into while I as dinning. This place has a little area where they sell Asian dry stuff as a side gig. Don't go here, don't waste your money. read more

I'd definitely give this place a 5 star if they cleaned it a little more, removing the grime around and getting a little more organized with how they take orders and not running around like a chicken with no head lol... Now I've been coming here for the past 6 months and have tried many of their banh mi sandwiches and a couple different Pho and some appetizers. They are all very flavorful and delicious, you can taste the different herbs and spices they use in their pho broth so all you have to know what meat you want to eat with it, and the best part is if you buy one you get one free except for the oxtail, that's not part of that deal. I don't know what time that starts and ends each day but I came around 6pm when I ordered. Their banh mi's are all good regardless of the one your craving but I'd say the charbroiled chicken and charbroiled beef has to be my favorite, it definitely taste like the meat is marinated in a sauce with star anise and five spice then grilled up real nice. Service can feel rushed depending on who is working or how they talk but I'm totally used to Vietnamese spots and I don't take it personal lol So I'd say if you're looking for a pretty good spot late night try this spot for sure. read more

My son who has been a little Yelpy lately introduced me to Pho Thanh. It was past my bedtime 9:30p and it was fairly busy but the food was delicious and worth it. The other customers were all really lovely that night too which made it even better. The decor was cute and thoughtful with the variety of wall flowers on different walls. I'll be sure to check back again. My favorite is #51, if you add shrimp and extra fish sauce, it's off the hook!! read more

I stopped by Pho Thanh while in Vegas and ordered the Pho Dac Biet, and wow--it was perfect from start to finish. The broth was rich, flavorful, and deeply comforting without being too salty. You can tell it's been simmered for hours because every sip had layers of flavor. The meats were fresh and tender--especially the rare steak, brisket, and tendon--which balanced beautifully with the noodles. Portions were generous, the herbs and sprouts were crisp, and everything came out piping hot. Service was fast and friendly, and even though the place was busy, my food came out quickly. If you love pho, this is hands down one of the best spots in Vegas. I'll definitely be coming back here whenever I'm in town. read more

Fresh clean broth and tender meat. Spring rolls were okay. This restaurant is also a small deli and little grocery store I suppose. It's clean inside but also makes you feel like it's not for how cluttered everything is. First time coming into this establishment and was pretty skeptical. Once you walk in your met with a little store to your right and the dining area to your left. I got the bun bo hue, which was rich with a nice kick, nothing I've ever had before. Definitely someone's grandma put some love into it. 10/10. My girlfriend had the rare beef and brisket pho. Broth was super delicious and very aromatic, I feel like I could taste everything down to the star anise and coriander; the star of the show. The salted lemon soda refreshed and cleansed our taste buds after every bite; a must try! Service was great, no complaints there. Overall, I will be dining here in the future :) read more

I got hu tieu ga and it hit the spot. The broth was flavorful and chicken wasn't dry. The best part was they did not skimp out on the green onions and cilantro. The only thing I thought could be better is the egg noodles. Definitely come back and try the duck congee and many other things on their expansive menu. read more

No one really sleeps when visiting Las Vegas, and the real pros go eat somewhere away from The Strip or Downtown. Spring Mountain Road in Chinatown has the best options: ramen, pho, Korean barbecue, and more. But how do we narrow it down even more? Easy: read my review and need my advice lol. This place is open until 1 AM. Quite simply, the food is excellent and the place is quirky with a grocery store inside. I had the pho (ask for extra large!) with brisket and the shrimp summer rolls. Large, generous portions and the broth is wonderfully seasoned with strong cloves and nutmeg. Service was okay, but I don't expect much from a server at midnight--they get tired too. Parking lot is pretty safe and brightly lit. read more

Pho Thang is a family owned Vietnamese restaurant located in one of Las Vegas' Chinatown strip malls. This hole in the wall restaurant also has a mini grocery store where they sell homemade jerky and other goods. They had an extensive menu that had authentic and unique dishes that I've never seen before. We opted to get the pho dac biet, bun bo hue, and their house special bahm mi sandwich. We also ordered their sugarcane juice and iced Viet coffee. The pho dac biet had a classic rich beefy broth that is always so comforting. I really enjoyed eating this dish by itself but the bun bo hue outshined it. This was my third time trying bun bo hue, but it was the only time I truly appreciated the savory and fishy broth. They also had extra fermented fish paste at the table for us to intensify the dish more. We really loved how flavorful the dish was and savored every last drop. The bahn mi was served on a toasted baguette but the flavors weren't that memorable. Overall, I was very impressed by Pho Thang and highly recommend it. I would definitely return when I'm back in Las Vegas. read more
