My husband and I chose this place because the menu shows they have chicken breast pho but it was clearly chicken thigh and other parts. He's picky about his chicken and when brought up to our server, frank, he said there's nothing they can do about it he can return it but he very well might get the same thing. Other than that, I enjoyed my combo pho very much. The broth was clean and delicious. The spring rolls tasted like they use precut lettuce which just made them taste not so fresh. The outdoor area gives garden center vibes just doesn't look as clean as the indoor area.

This food was nasty. I ordered the lemongrass tofu that came with a large portion size of jasmine rice with a side salad with plenty of tofu. The salad was still wet as if it was just washed and not dried before putting it into the takeout container. The tofu was dressed with sauteed green bell peppers with onions, but it tasted bland. I think the dish needed salt. It did not taste like lemongrass, but spicy. The tofu was crispy though. Upon walking into the restaurant was a bit of a challenge, especially at night, you walk into this door that leads you into this rainforest oasis with waterfalls in the background noise, lots of trees, and there's plenty of doors. I was completely confused about where the door actually led into the restaurant. I had to ask some people who appeared just as lost as I was. They guessed one door which we all got right. Tip, y'all need to add some proper lighting and signage to direct customers into the restaurant. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I'm not even from El Paso. However, I probably won't even be back, but proper lighting is a must because anyone can fall and hurt themselves out in pitch darkness.

Great place: atmosphere, staff, and food. The 3.7 rating on Yelp is doing the place a disservice.

The Crystal light Mio we had to use because the wayer was disgusting.

Go to the other location in the far east near the Rib Hut. We were highly disappointed. Toilet over-running in men's bathroom, floor has food and trash all over, the bar was filthy, and the food had no flavor. Service was ok, not great.

This is a quaint little place with a cute atrium that you walk through to get to the restaurant. Although we were in for an early dinner, we still had to wait to be seated (not long) as the restaurant was pretty full. The broth of the pho served here is amazing, rich and flavorful.

Don't waste your money--go somewhere else. The pork chop was burnt, dry, and overcooked, making it inedible. On top of that, the to-go box melted onto the rice. Wouldn't recommend.

Food was good but it was expensive for what we ordered. Been to other pho places and I paid waaaay less than what I paid here. Not going back anytime soon.

Always a go to in El Paso for PHO, very delicious and portions are generous. I usually order shrimp & tofu pho and it never disappoints.

Are there gluten-free options on the menu?

I believe the noodles are rice noodles but I would call and ask to be sure. They also have spring rolls that are made with rice wrapper.

Do they have slings for car seats?

    Yes they do

Cocktails are uniquely crafted, the ambiance pulls you right in and the bar is probably the best place to be! It's very clean as well! I'm a dirty martini girl and of course I'd recommend blue cheese stuffed olives! The fries were crispy, hot and served as a nice sized portion as a shareable. Customer service is 10/10, very attentive, kind and knowledgeable on the menu items and engagement with guests. I've had the opportunity to visit twice and this will be one of my frequent regular visits while here in El Paso! And I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place in El Paso, Texas. For starters, you sort of have to navigate your way around a second parking lot to get to it, but it is worth the adventure. Walking through the door. Door. They have a very nicely kept greeting station with a bar off to the left. So I made my way to the bar for a drink before dinner After my drink I went and got seated waited for the rest of my party. Looked over the menu and asked for suggestions. The chef's specials are always on point I was told so I opted for the blackened red snapper etouffee. Wow, what an amazing dish! And the presentation was off the hook. The spices were on point. Everything was cooked to perfection and it was just a very good dinner experience. Service was a little slow, I think that they weren't prepared for a party of 20 even though we had a reservation. Had it not been for the very slow service I probably would have given them five stars. But hey it's a improvement point. Bottom line? If you are in El Paso and you are looking for a nice upscale seafood place that has a casual feel, you could definitely check this place out.!

We accidentally found El Barco Marinero after attending an event nearby. My daughter was hungry, so we looked around for somewhere she could get carne asada and decided to give this place a try after seeing the great reviews. I'm so glad we did! It's a huge restaurant and you can tell it's family-owned and run. There were family and kids in the corner doing homework on their computers, which I thought was so sweet. Before we even ordered, they brought us complimentary ceviche with chips AND soup. Both were delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. I ordered the Baja fish tacos and my daughter got the carne asada tacos. The portions were VERY generous, especially for the prices. The fish tacos were fresh, crispy and loaded, but the carne asada really surprised me. It was tender, flavorful and honestly some of the best carne asada I've had. The service was also wonderful. I was already pretty full, so they happily boxed everything up for us to take home. I was genuinely surprised to see the restaurant so quiet on a Sunday because the food, portions, prices and service were all excellent. Definitely one of those tucked-away El Paso restaurants I'm really happy we stumbled across. We'll be back! El Barco Marinero 1212 N Yarbrough Dr Ste 307 El Paso, TX 79925
