    Beef fried rice
    Alex T.

My favorite item from here is the vietnamese charred pork over rice. The rice is viet rice. The pork has a nice marinate and thin little slices. The portion is great too and comes with a nice green salad too. The price is wonderful too. . Also it's a great walk from work which isn't too far away. It's next to la bou if your wondering. . My co worker got some chow mein and fried rice here which he chose veggie option. I tasted it and loved it. I was surprised how comforting it was. Those were what he chose to bring to a pot luck and it fed many of us too. . My other co worker got a banh mi sandwich from here and I forgot I'f she liked it or not. But now her go to order is the vietnamese pork over rice too. Hope this review helps andthanks for reading . Have a yelptastic day.

Service was good...hesitant to return bc it just wasn't that good and surprised they did not have Sriracha sauce. They only let you do half rice/half chow mein with a one item combo. The sweet and sour pork was lacking in flavor and quantity. They seemed to give me more of the chow mein and rice as filler. Just a counter you order at and take to go, although there are tables to sit at outside.

I just had the shrimp spring rolls, cream cheese crab Rangoons, and the Thai tea. Everything was yummy!

Food is very bland. I got s&s chicken, kung pao and chow main. It's hot, I'll give them that, but Panda Express tastes better. Someone should check if it passes health and safety.

Food so buss that we forgot to take a picture of it until halfway through. I got the Bay Bridge roll (clearly I liked this one a little bit more because there's only 1 left) and the Tsunami roll (the one with the jalapeños on top). Mushroom Bomb with the imitation crab was a recommended appetizer that was not a disappointment. 10/10 would get it again. Overall super yummy & super nice staff :D

It's a nice spot to grab a quick bite. They started serving sushi today. Haven't tried it yet but I intend to the next time I come.

Good food, good customer service, decent ambiance. I love Mongolian beef, however Dragon House puts too much rice and not enough meat.

Combo plate with fried rice and orange chicken.

3/5 because it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. $9.45 for the combo plate and there's a lot of food! I could not finish it in one sitting. And it wasn't too busy during lunch time which was nice. The fried rice was definitely the star. I think orange chicken can vary so much from place to place that it may be a hit or a miss and while it wasn't a complete miss I wouldn't recommend it. If I go back (which I probably will) I'll try something different.

    Charbroiled pork and rice

I got the Charbroiled Pork with rice, I took a few bites before taking the photo lol but this isn't exactly charbroiled and that's the only reason I did put 5 stars because it is still delicious and reminds me of a Vietnamese pork dish my grandma makes. The seating outside is nice, and service was great. I will return.

The lady up front was super nice. I got the combination plate. Kung pao, orange chicken. & 2 egg rolls. I really appreciate her patience as I was looking at the menu to see what I wanted. Excellent service

Orange Chicken with steamed rice and chow mein
    MT F.

Ordered the orange chicken with chown mein and steamed rice. It was overall good. Nothing spectacular. Decent price for what you get. I didn't care for the chow mein to much. Noodles were a little big and dense for my taste. Would go back but not get chow mein.

Love their Raw Steak Noodle Soup. It's a thin sliced beef served with thin rice noodles. I think it's way better than their Wor Wonton Soup.

The shelving behind the kiosk has plants, bottles of Veuve and wine strategically placed. There's some nice Vietnam themed artwork throughout. A vibrant, colorful mural is painted on the wall near the entrance and more wall art towards the back. I was impressed to see they even serve Veuve here. That makes for a fun brunch! Our party of five were road tripping home from the weekend and passing through. We always stop at Quan Nem Ninh Hoa for lunch and get the House Special 2 DIY spring rolls with the grilled pork complete with veggies, their special sauce and those crispy sticks. I was also hungry for some Bun Cha Ca (fish soup) which has mackerel, fish cake, tomatoes, pineapple and cabbage. I enjoyed mine with egg noodles. So delicious- even on a hot day! This place can get packed, but they run a tight ship here cranking out the dishes and keeping water glasses full. I look forward to more delicious spring rolls and trying other dishes in the future! I'm glad to see they're thriving in their new fancy space also.

Pair it with a rich, flavorful bowl of Mi Quang, and you're in food heaven. Try their bun cha ca, vermicelli noodles w fish cake super light and excellent broth! I also like their banh xeo here, very crispy and the right amount of veggies. PRO-TIP YOU NEED TO TRY: Don't sleep on their appetizer menu! Stop by TK Noodles down the street first, grab some chicharrones to-go, and sprinkle them right on top of the Banh Beo here. Total game changer! Try something else besides pho, I love pho but Vietnamese cuisine has many distinct soup dishes when you factor in regional variations, unique broths, and different noodle types. If you look past phở, Vietnamese soups generally fall into a few massive, distinct categories based on how the broth is built and what kind of noodle is used.

We felt transported back to Vietnam when we sipped the sugarcane and calamansi juice. If they have it (listed seasonal on the menu), try it! We also got nem cuon (not pictured) and the portion was generous and warm. I love their dipping sauce too. The broken rice plates also remind me of the places my mom took me to in Westminster and Garden Grove growing up. The accompaniments(hanh mo), whole Thai chilies, and chicken broth are signs of the authenticity. Meats are marinated and grilled nicely too. Everything is so so good. Support this place and family. We ordered the combo pho, and the broth was surprisingly bland & lacking the depth and richness you'd expect. The meat was tough, there was barely any tripe, and no tendon at all, which was disappointing for a "combo." I also requested less noodles, but that adjustment was mistakenly given to my husband's bowl instead. Not a huge issue on its own, but it added to the overall experience. That said, the menu offers a wide variety of broken rice dishes, so it seems like that might be more of their specialty. If I were to return, I'd probably try one of those instead of the pho.

We mixed our fish sauce with the chili sauce and this was so good. I wish it came with a little bit more veggies as I like to lettuce wrap my cha gio. Banh Cuon combo plate was also very good but the banh cuon was absolutely the best part - next time I would just order a plate of only the rice rolls! Banh Xeo took a bit longer to come out but it was very large and seemed like a popular menu item as we saw other tables order this. This is a savory Vietnamese pancake/crepe packed with veggies and shrimp and pork. Veggies and herbs were plentiful here - a bit messy to eat but so good! Inside has spacious table seating, some with booth and good lighting inside. There was ballad vietnamese music video playing. The restaurant was not busy and there were elderly men at the tables playing cards and some at another table they were chatting & drinking. Im not sure if they hold karaoke or have live bands but there is a stage with music instruments and a projector with installed party lights. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away. It was a bummer when they told us they didn't make ox tail or bum rieu today. Instead we ordered beef tartare, beef pho and shaken beef with rice. The beef tartare was this sliced raw beef with onion, herbs and lime which made the dish rich and savory. The pho was mediocre and same goes for the shaken beef, but both dishes were still tasty enough. During our time there, the server did not check on us or refill our water.
