And because of the once tried, delicious & craveable bun bo hue soup, that was the dish of choice for a few of us. Customer service continued to be good, and our party was easily accommodated. Unfortunately, my once excited demeanor quickly changed when I received my bun bo hue. It was mostly all broth, hardly any noodles, a couple pieces of meat and a sparse beef rib. I unfortunately had to order extra noodles to try to make it filling. When I tried it before, it was plentiful and more than satisfying. In comparison to the other people who also ordered the same dish, it was truly a disappointment. We were told that it was a popular dish and that they had run out of the noodles (and clearly the other meat items) that are supposed to be in it. It would've been better if they just told us that they had run out of the dish instead of trying to serve what was left because it was clearly lacking. Lack of accountability from the wait staff is very disappointing. There was clearly an owner/manager here however the server refused to discuss my concern with the manager and bring them to the table. We get viet food all the time but the "chicken" was weird and my wife did not want to eat it. We ordered our dishes with egg noodles. Both of them were brought with rice noodles. The server girl said they would bring us egg noodles on the side. When I asked for them the guy working there who is probably the owner he left to the kitchen and then the server girl's mom came out, took our bowls and said they need to take our bowls back and replace the noodles with egg noodles otherwise they would need to charge us. We weren't even concerned about that, we just wanted to get our food. After that the server girl remembered to ask if we wanted drinks with our food. Our egg rolls were delivered after our soups and to the wrong table where they sat for 5 minutes until they realized their mistake and grabbed them off the other table. The server girl came out and got confrontational about us being dissatisfied with the food and service calling us rude and admitting that her mom was the manager here all along. Server lied. Took our money, gave us bad food which my wife did not enjoy one bit and egg rolls off another table. My husband and I visited on a random Wednesday lunch hour after moving to this area. Despite the rating and reviews about the service, we decided to check it out since this would be our closest local pho. We eat pho regularly so we would eventually have to give it a try for convenience. We are glad we did. During the hour we were there, here is what we saw: 1. Someone order take out by plate number as if she had it memorized. She was definitely a regular. 2. A regular come in, sit and the gentleman at the register call out to him "you'll have the ____" and the regular shouted back "yes". 3. Uber eats come in to invite them to register their shop, 4. And additionally other customers come in. The pho and Thai tea were amazing. We are happy and definitely coming back. Our experience spoke for itself.
