BBQ Pork fried rice with two egg rolls and Thai iced tea
    Keith H.

I stopped here for a quick meal before going to the movie theater across the street. I decided to keep things simple. I ordered an appetizer and some fried rice with pork. The egg rolls were OK. (This is not a Chinese place so the textures and flavors might be a little bit different than what you might expect from a traditional Chinese restaurant. This is a Vietnamese restaurant so if you wanna choose the best dishes, choose Vietnamese cuisine.) The dining area is pretty small. There are several tables that could fit a group of four or possibly put two tables together to fit a group of eight. The server was nice and helpful. I had no complaints there. The portion of my fried rice was very generous. That was a nice surprise altogether I ordered three items and it cost me about $25. That still feels expensive to me, especially when I didn't order anything fancy I had egg rolls and fried rice and a Thai iced tea. Nonetheless, at some point you start to say to yourself this food is like street food. It was never designed to be expensive like this. Why are they charging so much in this post pandemic world ? In summary, my experience was pretty good. The food was decent. I would order the rice again. I didn't really care for the eggrolls, though the Thai iced tea was good. The price was kind of high, but the portion of the fried rice was very generous. I would rate this place at about a 3.5. If they reduce the menu prices just a bit I would probably bump it up to a four, but I don't feel like I paid what that meal was worth.

small hair on tendon and hair i removed from the same piece on the napkin

i tried this pho today for the first time via uber eats, the thought itself is OK. It's not the best I've ever had but it will do. It's hard to find a good for place because I just moved into the area. I had an issue with the containers that they bring the food in. it is a bowl that the broth is in, but in the same container is the raw meat and the noodles. My concern was the raw meat was sitting above the hot broth so when I touched the raw meat, it was EXTREMELY warm. i ended up boiling it all right away because of that, so hopefully i don't get sick. Also, i ordered tendon, and this is the first time i've ever seen hairs on my tendon. not sure if i will order here again.

Diane and I ate lunch here for the first time. I ordered Vegetarian Egg Rolls and a beef-broth-based Filet Mignon & Shrimp Pho, and she had a requested chicken-broth-based Filet Mignon & Shrimp Pho. We both liked our dishes. But the Sweet & Sour Sauce served with the Egg Rolls was not fruity or sweet enough. We received plenty of sprouts, mint, and Jalapenos to dress up and further season our large bowls of Pho, and the several strands of cooked noodles inside added to the enjoyment of them. The beef was lean and tender, and the shrimps well cooked. Service was good, except Diane's bowl first came out with onions that were requested to be kept off her Pho. Seating was at servicable but rather spartan tables and chairs. The restaurant was well lit, and it was comfortable until new arriving diners opened the entrance door, and gusts of cold wind blew inside. XXX-1/2 overall this first time around!

First timer here to pick up an order to go. Parking was limited but I managed to find a spot in a timely manner. The place itself is pretty small inside, and the counter is straight ahead once you enter. I got the filet mignon pho and some chicken wings. The pho was good but the wings were pretty bad. The flavor of the sauce for the wings was great.. but that all goes out the window when the chicken tastes dry and rubbery. On top of that.. the service was just ok. Looked like the woman in charge came to deliver my order to me. Just a "here you go" with no eye contact and when I said thank you, just silence as she walked away. A smile and some kindness goes a long way.. especially when the food is just "meh".

I ordered (2) Shrimp & Pork Spring Roll and Pho w/ Slices of Steak & Lean Meat. Daisy took my order quickly. She was very courteous and efficient. This place is quite small so it gets noisy quickly. Overall the food I ordered was tasty and delicious. The tables are kept clean as is the utensils!

I was willing to wait cause the craving was REAL but then I saw their score from the health department and looked at their "dings" and said "F THAT! I'm not eating here." So I looked up other places and came across this place which I've heard mixed reviews about. So I decided to give it a try since they had a good health score and it was something new. First off I'm going to start by saying we walked right in with NO WAIT time!! Literally sat down as soon as we walked in! The service was great; our waiter was super friendly and attentive and checked on us multiple times. Not to mention they have really good deals and a lot of other options for those who don't want or like seafood boil. I say that because my bf doesn't care for it but he sucks it up so I can have it every once and awhile and finds something else on the menu which is usually only chicken tenders or fish and chips lol this place had a variety of different options which was really nice! The ambiance was nice and quiet and very clean. The bathrooms were clean and they even have a handwashing station in the front so you don't have to go in the bathroom. The only thing I didn't care for much was their "house sauce" not sure what it was called but it's the one that has all the flavors mixed together! We got the mild spicy and the spice was great but the flavor was a little bland in MY opinion. Didn't taste much like anything! I also REALLY LIKE how they bring you a metal bowl to put your seafood in. That's a GAME CHANGER. Overall I would go back to this place no doubt and highly recommend it! The prices are really good as well and I feel like they have great combo deals! Better than I've seen at other places TBH. Annnnddd, I forgot to take a picture of my food unfortunately but that just proves to show how ready I was to eat!! I did get the after math tho! Haha

The place looked clean and tbh we were the first ones there so there weren't many people. Now the food... We ordered the fried calamari because they looked appealing in the picture off of the menu. I didn't get the chance to get a picture but they looked...sad, soggy and I was surprised because they came out pretty quick. I sent it back and didn't eat it. Me and my partner each got a pound of shrimp and there was no flavor. Not even in the sauce. I got hot and it felt like mild to me (I have a high tolerance). It also didn't have much sauce I had to dig deep at the bottom of the bag to get sauce...disappointing. I also had egg , corn and potatoes in my bag....egg was gross and yolk was very very green...not appealing. Potato had no flavor but the corn was nice and soft so I'll give them that. We also ordered garlic bread and I'm very sad to say that the bread was probably my fave part of the whole meal. Food just isn't worth it in my opinion.

I loved the name and the reviews and the Falconer of Redlands was even better than advertised. Food - 5 stars - the fried calamari was stupendous. Fried just right and good pieces of the squid seasoned perfectly. Good sauce and lots of lemons requested. The Ahi Tuna over the salad was a really nice sized portion with delicious fish and a healthy green mix including edamame. Kathy loved her Sea Bass. The fun menu also features a nice selection of steaks and some cool and familiar British pub grub. We did not drink any alcohol and our fun waitress Yvonne kept checking up on us for my frequent requests for extra balsamic and lemons and soda refills. The top notch service was great and we were not rushed. We sat downstairs in a nice area by the bar. It was not too loud. The entire staff seemed really chill. Heard some music playing upstairs and saw some customers going up as well.Apparently there is a piano on that floor and they do have Karaoke. Definitely next time. The fish itself was excellent -- delicate, nicely cooked, and the capers paired well with it. The broccolini was especially good and the carrot was perfectly done, which honestly says a lot about a kitchen's attention to detail. My only criticism was the sauce. It was heavier and blander than I expected for this type of dish, and I ended up asking for pepper to give it a little more life. A lighter, brighter beurre blanc would have elevated the entrée considerably. That said, the service was outstanding. The restaurant was about half full, so our waiter had time to actually engage with us and struck up a fun conversation about the Michael Jackson biopic. Attentive without hovering, which is a rare balance. Overall: very good experience, strong service, well-cooked food, and just one component that could use refinement. Solid 4 stars.
