The server is always so cute! She is always super sweet and was honest about what was yummy! The XL size of pho is huge and definitely sharable. The meal was so delicious I didn't need to eat the rest of the day. Please keep this place alive because the broth is so clean and flavorful even without hoisin and siracha! My man got the house special egg noodle and the way the fried noodles soak up the sauce was umami heaven. Gotta check this place out

Pho Viet is a staple in the Brandon area. It's been around since as long as I can remember. I've gotten take out and eaten here on many more times to count and the service has always been great and fast. My normal order is the Pho Viet Northern Combination, Thai tea, and summer rolls but I decided to change it up and try their beef vermicelli bowl which was delicious; I ate the whole bowl! Swear not a single drop left. My boyfriend got I believe, the Vietnamese stir fry with crispy noodles as seen in the photo. The prices are super reasonable and with their new renovations to the restaurant, I am staying a loyal customer:)

My sister and I went for lunch and were craving for a pho place and the one we usually go to were not opened or they were closed for renovations, not sure but we searched and found on yelp this very beautiful , clean , and friendly environment restaurant .We were greeted warmly and were told we can sit anywhere. We started with fried dumplings as an appetizer that were hot and fresh! We ordered the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl , one with egg rolls and the other with chicken. What a splendid noodle, it hit the craving I was having and was so filling I had to take the rest home. Our server was nice and he checked on us in a timely manner. This a budget friendly place as I spent $12-13 on my bowl and got super full. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an alternative pho place.

Very solid Pho. This is the centerpiece of the restaurant, and it shows in the depth of flavor that comes with every bite. The staff were polite, and the restaurant is very clean inside. Overall, a solid spot to stop by and grab a bite to eat.

Ordered the Pho it was delicious. Broth was very tasty. The XL size was enough for 2 meals! A must try!

I order from the place on regular basis because 1) the Pad Thai is delicious 2) the portion size is incredible 3) the price is very reasonable!! As long as these 3 things don't change, I will be a regular!

Quick, delicious pho, and the broth was so delicious (not burning hot so you won't burn the top of your mouth). Flavor is excellent, and ambiance is so appropriate. I forgot to do so this time, but I typically ask for my beef on the side so I can eat it a bit more rare (looks like I have to come back). Location is also convenient to Brandon, or Tampa - easy stop off of SR 60. Staff is very polite, and kind.

Newly remolded. Very nice atmosphere, big open sitting areas. Egg roll not as expected. To me pork chops in rice dish need to be marinated a bit longer to get more flavor.

I love coming here for pho. It's probably my favorite in the city. I get the regular sized beef pho and it's still large to me. The service is really kind, always attentive and great with suggestions. After the hurricane damage they renovated and opened back up and it's a more open concept now which I think is nice. It's a very bright atmosphere.

Such a great authentic Vietnamese spot for families and casual dining. My go-to is always the Grilled Beef Chop (Rib Cutlet) rice dish. Their house sauce is on the saltier side, but poured over the rice, it balances out perfectly. Oh, and I absolutely love the Vietnamese iced coffee here! And the portions? They do not play. Generous every single time. The service is what really sets Gao apart. The two gentlemen at the front are always so attentive and friendly. On my last visit, one of them remembered that I wasn't a fan of the steamed egg and pork meatloaf from a previous visit. I never mentioned it or asked for anything, he just remembered my reaction and offered to substitute it with an egg. Such a small gesture, but it says a lot. Great food, thoughtful service, and a place I'll keep coming back to! 10/10!!!

This place honestly felt like a scam. We ordered trà đá, which is basically ice water with just a…read moresplash of tea. At 99% of Vietnamese restaurants, this is complimentary. If there is a charge, restaurants usually let you know beforehand, and it is typically around $1 to $2 per cup. At this restaurant, no one clarified that there would be a charge, yet we were charged $5.50 per cup, while their actual drinks cost only $6. If we had known, we would have just ordered actual drinks instead. It is not about the amount of money. It is about transparency and honesty with customers. As for the food, it was overpriced and lacked flavor. I ordered their special Vietnamese udon (bánh canh đặc biệt), but they had the audacity to serve me Japanese udon. That is not bánh canh. Vietnamese bánh canh and Japanese udon are completely different in taste, texture, and preparation, so this was especially disappointing and felt disrespectful to a traditional Vietnamese dish. We also tried their "most popular" dish, mackerel snd fish cake noodle soup (bún cá thu chả cá), and unfortunately, it was completely bland and lacked flavor. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Between the disappointing, overpriced food and the lack of transparency regarding the charges, the experience left a very bad impression.
