Not a lot of restaurants in the Mount Laurel area that impress me but this one definitely does! Can't believe I have never eaten here before. The food is surprisingly affordable and equally as delicious! Ordered the Brisket Pho ($10!!) and a Thai Iced Tea because it's my favorite. The portion was huge! This bowl was the size of my head and absolutely brimming with brisket and noodles. I've eaten at several Pho places and this one is definitely on par when it comes to flavor! They serve fresh and clean veggies with the Pho and have a wide array of condiments if you're looking for some more heat or savory tastes. Service was extremely quick and although we went at lunch time the restaurant had plenty of seating! Only complaint is that the music was quite loud while we were eating but that is my only complaint! Look forward to coming back here on my breaks from college! read more

Very decent Vietnamese house in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Man! This part of the world is all shopping centers and highways. What happened to rural Moorestown and Mt. Laurel? Well, at least they had the good sense to permit Pho Xinh to open their southeast Asian restaurant. It's not just Viet cuisine, as it also has offerings from Thailand. My lunch was the Jasmin Grill, consisting of 2 very thin pork chops, grilled and barbequed, cuke and tomato side salad/garnish, and a cup of broken rice. For another buck I also received a small fried spring roll. Very good service, with everyone pitching in. Taste was fine, especially after I mixed the Hoisin and Chili Sauces together for dipping the meat, and poured the thin spring roll sauce over the rice to add more flavor. If I find myself in the area again, I will sit down for a bowl of Pho. Not quite Washington Avenue, Philly, but strong for this neck of the woods. read more

Waiter rolled his eyes when I asked for pad thai with no onion...sadly onion gives me a migraine. Also when I left 20% tip he just took it without even a thank you. There's something for everyone here, but focus is Vietnamese. My partner had a vegetarian pho. While he appreciated the option, he said it was ok, not great. I went Thai with pad thai, and by now I should've learned my lesson not to order it outside of a Thai restaurant. The sauce was interesting, but not really pad thai. It was heavy, and the rice noodles were slightly underdone and not Thai...they were same noodles from the Vietnamese soup. My assessment: if you are in the Centerton shopping center, don't want low end chain food, and have to have Asian, this place fits the bill, but don't expect any wow's here. Never had Pho before, but it was one of those things I knew I needed to try, and when I saw how close this spot was to my home there was no way I could NOT come. Location is small - maybe about 10/12 tables, and about 5 of them had parties. We were seated immediately and the waiter served us with glasses of water. He came back again about 5 minutes later and took our app orders. BBQ Summer Rolls (for my husband) and Crispy Spring Rolls (for me). Both good and worth ordering, but the Summer Rolls were better! Now came time to order our main course. He ordered the seafood fried rice and I had chose Pho & Seafood. By this point I was practically dancing in my seat, lol. Food came out about 10 minutes later, but I couldn't wait! The shrimp and scallops were delicious I just couldn't get with the calamari in the Pho. The texture was a bit tougher than what I'm used to eating (prob because it's fried when I eat it), but the broth was delish and I loved that I could put jalapeños to make it spicy. It couldn't get it spicy enough though, so I added some Siracha in and that did the trick. Husband liked the fried rice, but not the calamari. Two for two means I'll definitely be back either to dine in or take out. Can't tell you how many take out customers came and went while we were there. People love this place! read more

This is one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. We shop at Costco then eat here. What we like: all their pho- flavorful broth, good meat and noodles. We like the bbq pork chop, pad see ew, pad thai, fried wings, papaya salad ( get the dressing on the side!) tom yum soup. We order the same things over and over again. It was located right across the street from Virtua so it was extremely convenient. The restaurant was about half full so I was seated immediately. I inquired as to which dish was vegan and the server directed me to a veggie broth dish that was filled with vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cabbage, etc0. I was hungry but didn't have time to order a large meal so I figured I would be hungry in an hour eating soup, but so not the case. The food arrived very quickly and was huge. It was the biggest bowl of soup I had ever had. Along with the huge bowl, there was a side of bean sprouts to add to the soup. The Pho was delicious and so filling that I couldn't eat all of it. The menu is all in english, so that was a bit weird for me considering most of the stuff I know how to order is in Viet, so it took me some time to figure out what was what. Raw beef - really good! I do wish they put more fried onions on it though. Beef was thin and the dish was a good combination of tangy, sweet, and salty. Chicken appetizer - not a huge fan of this but my brother in law and niece loved it. My husband and I have been going here for about 10yrs plus. They are now called Pho 9 like the one in Cherry Hill. The food use to be so good and the staff super nice. My husband knew them by name an they also knew him by name because we ordered regularly. In the last few months the taste and quality of the food has gone way down hill. The Pho broth isn't as flavorful, they are now throwing dirty packets of sauces in your veggie bags instead of the little serving cups they use to give. No sauce with the summer rolls' the marinated shredded carrots are super salty, the peanut dressing is nothing more than oily peanut butter. It's just terrible. The last time we got it the food wasn't so great so we took a time out hoping maybe the regular staff was still on vacation or something. Here we are a month and half later and it's gotten even worse. The new cooks they are using are absolutely terrible. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this place. read more

Stumbled upon this place going to a nearby store and I am so glad I did. The staff set the tone by being so friendly and accommodating. They let you pick where you want to sit and are by your side the whole time. I am a vegetarian so it is hard to find flavorful broth but I found it here. I got the vegetable noodle soup and my girlfriend got the beef and we were both more than satisfied. The best part about this is for $20.00 for both of us we both had a great fulfilling meal. I'm not exaggerating they give you a HUGE bowl of soup and noodles and a separate plate piled high with bean sprouts, mint, lime , and jalapeño. They have hoisin, Siracha, and chili oil (the main fixens) already in the table which are really not needed but give the dish a little extra kick. We try to plan our trips to the nearby Costco around lunches here. I'm so happy that this place has survived. They don't have the big variety of Pho that I'm used to from Seattle, but it tastes good and its pretty much impossible to walk away hungry unless you're some sort of nit-picky killjoy. The spring rolls are also really nice, and we never go without having a couple. The service is fine, but mainly because the younger wait staff--the older crew seem to be pretty scowly. Pro: Great place! I'm usually leery of restaurants located in strips malls or near large retail outlets. Maybe I've been jaded a bit, but such establishments seem to thrive more on their location than on their product. However, Pho Xinh was a pleasant surprise. Friendly and fast service. Restaurant is clean with about 10-12 tables. Only one restroom. We've been to this place twice now (hubby's been here 3 times) since it's located right next to Costco and Target. The first time we were here, it wasn't all that great because the dish that my hubby ordered wasn't the traditional Vietnamese noodle dish you would find at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant (Bun Bo Hue). The bun bo hue here is basically beef pho with chili and lemongrass sauce added to the broth. Last time hubby came to eat by himself and he ordered the beef pho and said the meat and broth were both spectacular. For our visit on Saturday, we ordered: Chicken pho - white meat chicken, good amount of noodles, well balanced broth. The pho was served with iceberg lettuce which is unusual for pho. Vermicelli with grilled pork and egg roll - I had this dish placed in a bowl for easier eating. The meat was seasoned well and lean without a lot of fat. I was disappointed that this dish only came with ONE egg roll. Usually this dish comes with at least 2 egg rolls, but it is what it is. The egg roll was tasty with a good amount of pork filling. Overall, we would come back to visit because the most important part of pho is the broth. The broth here is perfectly balanced and doesn't have any one spice be overwhelmingly strong which is very very important. read more

First thing I noticed was EVERYTHING came in enormous servings. Second, it LOOKED good. It was actually attractive food attractively served. Third, it was delicious! The noodles and cooked veggies were appropriately tender without being mush. The uncooked vegetables were crisp. The meat wasn't overdone or tough. The flavors were savory, complex, and not overwhelming. Fourth, the price was absolutely reasonable, even surprisingly so. My huge, beautiful, delicious meal was only $13. This place is all sorts of win! My husband and I came here for lunch before starting our rounds around Centerton Square, and I can definitely say this did not disappoint. Service was great, the place is clean, and the food is delicious and cheap. You don't get that combination in a lot of places. We started our meal off with the fresh spring rolls. They served it with fish sauce and peanut sauce, and their peanut sauce was on par with the homemade one our friend makes. Meaning, I couldn't get enough of it! I opted for the steamed rice with grilled beef, while my hubby got steamed rice with grilled pork. Both were cooked to perfection-- they were both simple dishes but the flavors blended together beautifully to make something my taste buds danced merrily to.
