They were able to accommodate me right away and the woman behind the desk was very friendly. They never took my name, never did any intake or had me fill out a form. The only reason they might now have my name is because I paid by credit card at the end. This is not how a professional place operates. No one ever told me my therapist's name so I don't know who worked on me. She worked within a routine and never really focused on anything for very long. I tried vocalizing mmmmm or saying "good" to let her know when something felt good but she didn't really stop and get into the tissue. The first part of the massage was compression through the sheet and when she finally applied oil it was too much to do connected deep tissue. I enjoyed the hot stones bc I never choose that option so it was a nice surprise. Some of her techniques felt good but it definitely wasn't the kind of bodywork I enjoy or needed.

But when she does she starts putting oil on, and its literally so uncomfortable, as its like zero pressure, and for some unknown reason, feels the need to put oil near my stomach and underarm area? Okay, at that point I'm getting mad but I asked her to please do it harder. She agrees and again literally just touches my sides, lower back with oil doing nothing. At that point, I just stopped her at 1 hour mark. She gets the hot towel and wipes my back down and she tries to continue, I tell her to stop again, this time I'm propped up already on my elbows and told her to stop. She stops but then asks if Im really angry at her. Well yeah. Then she offers to remove her gloves and continue the next 30 minutes. Seriously? I didnt care about the gloves its the not doing what was asked for. I told her that im just done i dont like anything about this. When I get up and leave I paid her $70. $60 for the worst hour of massage ive ever had the displeasure of paying for and $10 to at least acknowledge that she did... something?
