I was seen very quickly, had diagnostics done within 5 minutes, and he suggested alternative solutions while discouraging me from doing unnecessary repairs on my phone as it was in good health, despite that costing him business and income. Can't help but appreciate his honestly since a lot of shops in this same business don't have that quality. Called and expressed concerns for slow battery charging. I inquired about time for diagnostics and the guy on the phone quoted 15-20 minutes. Soon after I came to the shop and the guy saw me within a minute of stepping into the shop and did his diagnostic testing within 5 minutes. He told me that my phone charged well on his chargers and suggested that it might be due to my charging cable. He recommended I order a new one and also offered some in store but wasn't pushy about his stock in particular. I also asked about my battery health of 86% and he said it's in good health and I should hold onto it for a little longer before considering a battery replacement. Super pleased with my experience even though I didn't end up doing any business. I WILL be coming back to this location when I do have issues with my phone.

We usually go to the Alhambra store, but they are temporarily closed. I brought our iphone 14 with a $50 Bodyguardz replacement screen protector, which we bought from AT&T when we upgraded the phone.  Chris ignored my comments that he needed to put the phone in the protector container and use the rail before peeling off the backing. He didn't listen or understand the instructions, then had no clue how to install. His co-worker Audrey just "free-handed" and put it on completely crooked. Then Chris did not smooth the protector correctly either, and within days, there were giant bubbles. When I called back, they refused to give me a replacement from their store, claiming they had no iphone 14 Pro screen protectors of ANY brand. That is a huge lie, as I am currently at the Rosemead AT&T store with Tee & Patrick immediately installed an AT&T screen protector with lifetime warranty. They did a perfect and fast installation. Called back T-mobile and corporate have no details of this package being sent back. The store lied to my face. T-Mobile corporate support, corporate rep. called the store and the store was just giving us the runaround stating they don't have it. And even trying to transfer the fault on me, until the store realized I was also on the call. Even the T-Mobile corporate rep felt the store was deliberately withholding the unit. The store staff was very defensive and said go talk to their legal department. Later I was transferred to a T-Mobile corporate rep supervisor, who is going to take care of this. Thankfully the corporate support are still good. Numerous people at this store told me they don't have my replacement. Tonight I went in and asked them again if they have it, and NOW they confirm they do have it. But they can't give it to me without a manager. So the customer have to accommodate the store manager's time. At this point, basically the store don't want to give me my replacement and it is finding all sorts of reason/excuses. Don't go to this particular authorized store. They are thieves and liars. T-Mobile corporate needs to investigate this authorized dealer.

I brought it back to Gadgetneeds to explore solutions. While I was telling the reps what happened one of them asked me "do I believe I the words I say? You must have done other damage to it."
