Would not recommend this place to anyone! I came here after my husband broke his new iPhone.. they told me it would cost well over $400 which is not feasible considering my husband is prone to breaking everything. Anyhow, I decided to purchase an unlocked phone from them for $200.. with a two month warranty. I was told that if the phone had issues or if the screen broke they would repair it.. well the phone began acting up and they refused service! A week or so later the screen shattered and we brought it back in. Again they told us they would not fix it! These people are a bunch of incompetent assholes that lie at their convenience. They communicated with us promptly until a plan was in place to replace our dead router at an Airbnb in Incline Village. Closing my jacket pocket in the car door only to realize that my cellphone was in said pocket - GAHHHHH- shattered into complete slivers of finger piercing shards of glass and time to hit up my cellphone provider on what are my options. Well their only suggestion is my insurance or a local company that fixes screens out of the local coffee house - ummm not feeling that. Soooo after contacting the out of the back of the van/coffee house and knowing if I go through the insurance company I will end up with a refurbished phone I opt to searching via my trusty Yelp App. Up pops Phone Fix Center among multiple others in the area and my husband and I begin reading reviews, calling the different places and asking questions. We decided to keep our business local based on reviews, professionalism and honesty when we talked to them both times we called after shopping around and we're UBER happy we did. Upon arrival of the store we were greeted by the same young man we spoke with on the phone and he immediately put me at ease about turning my cellphone over for the repair. He assured me that my phone would be in good hands and walked us through the process to include that they would guarantee their services by backing it with a warranty - WAHOO! When my phone was ready for pickup before I left the store to assure that everything was working fine they had me run through a few tests - make a call, text, take a picture, test wifi, etc. Super friendly staff, they all went above and beyond to continue to make my experience stress-free and YES I would HIGHLY recommend them. read more

Came in to drop my phone off and it was ready to go in 30 minutes! They broke my led screen while replacing my glass screen. It worked perfectly when i went in my receipt proves it. It started acting funny and glitching after they fixed it and then a week later completely stopped working. I had to pay to get it fixed else where a week after giving them $200 to fix a crack in my screen I guess if you go here you have to ask them not to break other parts of your phone while fixing a crack! SCAM they don't stay true to their warranty and should NOT be trusted. read more

Excellent repair service! While everyone is restricted by shelter in place and only essential services open due to Covid-19, I was able to get my screen replaced and my phone working again. They are operating by appointment to minimize customer exposure. A sign at the front door and messaging through yelp, they requested only one customer at a time in the store. They cleaned my phone when I arrived, and the pay station when I paid with my credit card, and gave me a wipe to clean my credit card afterwards. Oh, and the phone works just great, too! The screen on my Apple iPhone 6+ was lifting on the left side, battery overheating and swelling. I called Phone Fix to get an estimate. I drove to the store and handed my phone to the young lady at the counter, after explaining that I had just called re phone battery. The owner/technician took my phone, did some quick tests on it. It took him about 15 minutes to remove and replace the battery. They were polite and very expedient on the repair. I was very satisfied with the work and cost of the repair. I had recently been given a free iPhone X with the front glass cracked and the back glass shattered as well as an iPhone 6S that had a cracked screen (none of them my fault, by the way). I was in town visiting my parents when I had a little accident with my phone. The screen needed to be replaced. Both employees were very kind, knew their products, and to me, had a reasonable price. They quoted me $89 to fix my phone and said it would only take around 40 minutes. I picked up my phone and everything was like brand new - absolutely no malfunctions and my repair has a 6 month warranty! My wife's phone screen died. It was time to upgrade which went smoothly, getting the replacement activated at our carrier's storefront. Without the screen working on the old phone they couldn't get all the data, contacts and pictures stored on the phone transferred to the new phone. We went into Phone Fix Center to get the screen replaced to facilitate the data transfer. The owner offered get the data transferred without having to replace the screen. This last time I was super impressed with Justin (I think that was his name).
