Fun little business to hang out at. Each night they try to have something different that they are open whether it's karaoke, pool, whatever that looks like. They are definitely a place of entertainment and a place where friendships can be created. They do have a kitchen on site with the menu as well as a bar. Currently, I think they are open from Tuesday through Saturdays and closed on Sundays and Mondays. And I feel that changes throughout the seasons.

First thing you noticed is the bread was not toasted at all. It had a couple of brown stripes on one side only. When you open the sandwich, the lettuce was wilted, and the tomato was absolute mush, like it had been old and laying around for hours. The worst thing, though, were the avocados. 2/3 of the avocados were dark,gray or black. Obviously not a good avocado, but yet they managed to cut it up and serve it. And the last thing that was disappointing, was the fact that the bacon was in one wad in the center of the sandwich and not laid out on the sandwich. Just a wad that had to be disassembled and spread out. It looks and feels and sounds to me that that kitchen needs some discipline. Don't use old food! If the client asked for mayo, put it on the damn sandwich like they requested. Everything points to that cook being in one heck of a hurry as it was obvious everything was done down and dirty with little to no concern or care for presentation or freshness. I called this evening to let the manager know and I will call the general manager tomorrow. I believe they said his name was Joe? This is my second time at Maguire's as a local and I'm absolutely not impressed. There's a sign up when you walk in that says please wait to be seated. There are a couple of benches there so I sat down and waited yet I could not get the attention of anybody. It wasn't that busy. A few people walked in and managed to get seated. I talked to a couple of the waitresses asking if I could check on my to go order and was met with I'll get back to you. Eventually, I cornered one of the gals and there was my to go order sitting in a bag next to their Station. I went back to the front, and the waitress walked me to the correct location. As I followed her, I overheard the owner behind the bar say, "There's a goddamn sign," apparently talking about me. He didn't realize I was standing right behind her. When I appeared, his attitude instantly changed, and he apologized by saying, "Sorry, I've been here since 11." 6-7 hours of work, oh no! I'm sorry, but working since 11 isn't an excuse for talking about customers like that. If your pickup process is so confusing that people end up in the kitchen, that's on your business, not your customers. I won't be back. Better signage, a clearer pickup process, and a little respect for customers would go a long way. Do better, Tommy Boy.

So if someone reading this has any pull, maybe consider having the beyond chicken option that your website implies that all of your locations carry.

Parking is also very limited, and since the restaurant is in a residential area, be mindful not to block driveways or park in front of someone's home improperly. We got lucky and pulled right into a parking spot. My only criticism was that we felt a little rushed during the meal. There were a few moments when plates were removed without much acknowledgment, which made us feel like we needed to move things along. We actually wanted to stay longer, order more, and try additional items so we could experience more of the menu. It wasn't enough to take away from how much we enjoyed the evening, but a slightly more relaxed pace would have made the experience even better. That said, the food was excellent, the pizza was memorable, and overall we had a great experience. We're already looking forward to coming back and working our way through the rest of the pizza menu. We arrived at the restaurant at 5 o'clock and checked in, providing our phone number to the server, who told us the wait would be about 10 minutes. However, we ended up waiting close to an hour, repeatedly checking in to see if our table was ready. Finally, after getting frustrated and asking the front staff for the fourth time, we were told our table was ready. It turns out they had lost our phone number, so they had no way to contact us, which was disappointing. Once seated, the service was just okay. We had to ask two different people for utensils as we had none to eat with, and our waitress didn't check in with us right away. We noticed she seemed tired, yawning throughout her shift, which might have affected her energy and service. My husband was unhappy with the pizza, saying it tasted like frozen pizza. I had the wings and salad, which I'd rate a 6 out of 10. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for the food or service, but if you're looking for a lively scene, it's a decent option. We had an incredible experience at Pi Bar Restaurant! The pizzas are delicious and perfectly complemented by their fantastic appetizers. My favorites were the Chicken Tikka pizza, fried coconut prawns appetizer, Porcini mushroom Arancini appetizer, and fresh oysters. The specialty cocktails are outstanding! I tried several, and each had its own unique taste--AMAZING! My top picks were the Deep Cut, Electric Garden, and Touch Me. The atmosphere is very inviting and fun, enhanced by great music. As the evening approached, we enjoyed the relaxed vibe on the patio by the fire pits. The service was excellent as well. Plus, if you're a sports fan, they have plenty of screens to watch the games. I don't like how dark it is inside, so I prefer sitting near the front by the bar, where there's more lighting. They offer some special and seasonal items, but I've mostly enjoyed their wood-fired pizzas, espcially the Prosciutto and Arugula. I've also enjoyed their braised short ribs, skirt steak, and buttermilk chicken sandwich. For brunch, I usually get the Short Rib Poutine and house-made doughnuts, but I noticed the poutine was no longer on the menu during my most recent visit. Their furikake fries and deviled eggs are also good. Overall, a decent restaurant for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

They taste creamy good by itself but remember the mushroom brown gravy I ordered for the steak? It's really for my garlic mashed potato's. A perfect combo. Consider this a Pro Tip. My other side is the green death pasta. You have to request it (another Pro Tip). I've tried pesto pasta everywhere and it's only this delicious at Garlic Bro's. The honorable mention is the grilled pork steak. The best pork steak in Stockton. The grilled lamb chops are good - just not as great as the other two entrees....but I'm a very tough critic when it comes to lamb chops. One thing to know at Garlic Bro's is they don't water down the mixed drinks. You definitely get what you pay for. And the price tag is actually pretty reasonable. Garlic Bro's can get very busy so come early for good seats and parking - because they don't take reservations.

The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the atmosphere feels very upscale while still being friendly and comfortable. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, especially once you get inside and see the martini lounge, wine display, and the rest of the dining area. Jade was our main waitress and Abigail assisted throughout the evening. Both of them were extremely sweet, attentive, and really helped give us that high-end dining experience. One detail I especially appreciated was that they cleared the used utensils and brought fresh ones out with each course. It may seem small, but those little touches make a big difference. The whole experience was delicious, friendly, entertaining, and just a really attractive environment to spend an evening in. My only small criticism is that the area can be busy and parking can be hectic. The martini bar/restaurant layout was also a little confusing when we first arrived because it isn't set up exactly like a traditional restaurant entrance, but once Jade explained everything and encouraged us to look around, it made much more sense. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely come back. Jimmy's is a really nice addition to Lodi.

That's where some points get knocked off. I feel like the previous patron that used my seat needed a diaper. The smell was awful. Like they sharted big time. Not the restaurants fault. We ordered the mozzarella sticks. Delicious and amazing. But that smell. I ordered the New York steak. She ordered the filet. Street corn, mashed potatoes and gravy. Very good. But that smell. Also the steak knives. I don't think my knife could have cut a stick of melted butter. I was tempted to run it against my finger. Our server was super cool, on point. Food was fantastic 100%. Drinks were really good. But that smell was unbearable. Sharpen your knives. I could barely cut through my steak. Probably would have had more luck using my fork. Nice spot to catch up with a friend in Lodi.

I called in my order using the number directly from Yelp because the online ordering doesn't allow…read moreyou to make customizations. The man I spoke to was kind of unpleasant and didn't seem to like taking my order down. I then went to the restaurant to pick up my order, and they didn't know what I was talking about. Turns out the number on this site is for one of their taco trucks in some other location. So they let me place my order and were very nice and apologetic about it. The order was fast and fresh. The man from the truck called me back and said my food was ready after a few minutes and when I tried explaining the mixup, he was rude and hung up. If he doesn't want people calling in orders and not picking them up, he should probably get his number off other locations Yelp pages, I can't imagine this is an isolated incident. If this business has multiple locations, it needs to do better about this sort of thing. My order turned out pretty good. The carne asada was definitely fresh cooked (not old steam tray meat like pretty much everywhere else in town), but the cut wasn't very lean, so there was a fair amount of fat/gristle on the meat, which is unfortunate because everything else about the order was perfect. I also liked their salsa roja which wasn't hot at all but had nice flavor. I feel like this would be a better place to dine in rather than order to go from, especially with all the mixups with the wrong number in the Yelp page. But also they weren't playing music loud when I picked up my food, so that made it seem like I nice place to dine. ***Adding to my review several hours later: I did have to make an urgent visit to the restroom. Results may vary. ***

Sunday, we have a monthly girls golf date and we decided to eat at the Grill. I had the fish and chips (light and crispy and the fries were so deliciously seasoned!) My other Ladies had the salads, which looked very good as well and judging how the salads were gone, they were equally delicious. We finished golf at 3pm so the restaurant had a few people eating but by the time we got our food the place was busy!
