Two years ago, I needed my wedding ring cleaned and dipped. It's white gold so every now and again it needs more rhodium to make it shine like new. My husband had a jeweler in downtown LA pre- Covid that he would get my rings dipped. That store closed unfortunately. I went to another jeweler in Glendora and was charged over a $100 to have it done. When I needed it done again after 8 months, I went with Piacere. I met Fabiola (Fabi) and was absolutely impressed by the knowledge and kindness. They took care of my rings at a much lower cost and they looked brand new. Victor goes above and beyond when it comes to your jewelry. He checks prongs and puts the rings thru a rigorous cleaning before he returns them. I was even given the opportunity to look at my rings thru a jewelers loop. They did that just in case i wanted to be sure my gemstone was mine before and after the cleaning. It took only one full day for the rings to be restored to brand new. Since that meeting over 2 years ago, they have been our go to store for all our jewelry needs. I initially came here to get a quote to have rose gold bands made to make my promise ring a wedding set. I brought my fiancé back with me to pick up my promise ring, because I had them reinforce my prongs. Victor and Fabi, eventually ended up working with my fiancé to create a custom wedding set for me in white gold and diamonds. Fabi is a gemologist, and Victor used to work for Tiffany's. Their work is unique and one of a kind. The quality and workmanship that goes into their jewelry is outstanding. My fiancé also worked with Fabi to design custom diamond and Brazilian pariaba gemstone earrings for my wedding as my "something blue" to wear that day. 0 stars. DO NOT COME HERE. I came here to have custom wedding rings made from my deceased mother's passed down jewelry. All went well while we were designing my wife and I bands and I May 2023. When we received our rings we were in love and ready for our ceremony. They were everything we wanted ! We said I do in July 2023, we first came in to have my wife's band resized, which the owner and crafter stated that because we need it sized up the the stone will no longer be set in the place but he used jewelry glue and it would be fine. Well 2 weeks from when it was returned to us the sapphire had fallen from my wife's band and was lost. ( We have now lost a gemstone from my deceased mother ) When we returned a second time to the shop, the owner was rude and reluctant to fix/ replace his work. We asked what can we do to prevent this from happening again as the gem "wasn't properly set," he added the brackets and replaced the stone with horrible craftsmanship. The once beautiful timeless wedding band looked horrible and cheap! My wife and I decided we would just be grateful to have her band and what is symbolize. I WISH THAT WAS IT. Fast forward to January 2024 6 months since we have been wearing our wedding band a diamond fell out of my ring. My wife and I went into the shop for now the 3rd time. My wife calmly explained what had happened and expressed disappointment in the craftsmanship of the rings. Expressing disappointment that jewelry that has been passed from my deceased mother and is irreplaceable has now needed a second fix within the 1st 6 months. My wife asked for compensation or a refund and the owner hostily stated we could have taken the diamond out and he doesn't know what we are doing with our rings. He stated we should return our rings if we weren't happy! RETURN MY DECEASED MOTHERS JEWELRY! I was disappointed and hurt by this reaction after explaining that these rings were made from jewelry I brought to the store that was invaluable, I would not be letting him touch my rings again! I'm already in touch with a lawyer. My sentimental, invaluable jewelry has been ruined and all the owner could say is "good go contact a lawyer." read more

I'm so glad I found this jewelry store. When The Village Goldsmith closed, I had no idea where I would go or who I would trust with my jewelry. I initially went in to have a ring sized and was very pleased at the turnaround time. I was speaking with the owners, both very nice people, about having a custom ring guard made for my wedding ring. I have never wanted to switch out the diamond and my ring is an asymmetrical shape and in yellow gold. They explained the process throughly and answered my questions. They deigned a beautiful white gold and diamond ring guard. The idea was to wear my ring with and without the guard when I wanted. It is so stunning, I have never separated the two and I am constantly complimented on them. They designed it on the computer, sent me a three dimensional image which I approved. They then made a prototype for me to see in their shop and approve. I told them it was great and they made the final ring. I'm so happy with it.
