What a great, cute place! The zucchini, tomato and fresh mozzarella sandwich is delicious. The bread toasted perfectly. The pizzas are worth every penny and then some. Found this restaurant based on yelp reviews and the vegetable pani was fantastic! The bread was incredibly fresh and the sandwich was huge! Worth the search! I walked down to Nolita from midtown in search of delicious Italian pizza. After poking my nose into numerous spots, I am so glad I chose this one! The ambiance cannot be beat. Cute little place away from all the hustle and bustle of Little Italy. We started with a delicious bottle of white wine and the pepper and Italian sausage pizza. Both were wonderful. We had the arugula and pear salad which was pretty good, but definitely small for the price. We then had the orecchiette pasta which was good, but unfortunately a little under done, hence the four stars. I should've said something but we were too full at that point to have anything else. Went there this past Friday. For appetizers we ordered pizzas we got some some sausage Sam with prosciutto and just play margarita they were all delicious for maincourse we all decide to get a pasta or steak. . Two of us got a steak which was so tender so good. The rest of us got pasta linguine with clams was very tasteful my brother got a truffle pasta with mushrooms out of this world I def recommend everyone tries that. Piacere is on the edge of Little Italy but is known for its wood fire grill. We decided to give it a try and sat on the patio. I ordered their pizza with Olives, Mushrooms, Ham and Artichoke hearts. They had me at goodbye. When we first walked into this unassuming location we were hesitant of what we would encounter. But once we walked in and smelled the truffle oil mixed in a Italian flair we were intrigued. Eddie our waiter was helpful and fun. The hands on owners made sure our glasses were always full. Quaint atmosphere. Nice date place. Good night crowd for drinks at the bar and terrace. This appears to be a place where choosing the right items on the menu is the key. Pizza was excellent (buffalita: tasty light crispy crust, vibrant cherry tomatoes, creamy bufala). The pesto gnocchi was well executed except that it was overly basilic. Maybe the basil was too mature. I love mushrooms, but the mushroom bruschetta was excessively earthy in flavor. Prosecco was excellent. The Pinot Grigio had higher minerality and astringency than I care for, but it did pair well. Tiramisu was excellent: light, creamy, well balanced and just the right sweetness for an espresso. So a strong recommendation for pizza and tiramisu. Pasta is good, with caveat for the pesto. Wines suit the cuisine. Great option for very late night dining. read more

I had a group of 10 for dinner last night and the experience was excellent from every respect. Our party was treated extremely well from the time we arrived until our departure. Carlos, our host was warm, helpful, attentive, patient, and had a great sense of humor as an added plus. The food was outstanding with excellent appetizers, salads, pizzas, pasta dishes, rib eye steak and red snapper. With a large group, we had the opportunity to sample much of the menu. LOVE!! Their pizza is great perfect size not too big not too small. My favorite is their pepperoni pizza. For dessert, everything is great!!! I also love that everything here is organic! The owners take that really serious, which is rare for restaurants to actually care where their produce is from. I also love that they're open late so I always know I can count on piacere when it's late out and I'm hungry. read more
