Please do not support this reataurant . My friend and I went there tonight . I have promoted this restaurant to many people as I love the man who plays the saxaphone . We went to Messina Hof and had a single glass of wine with cheese and crackers. They know me well there and can confirm I was not drunk. However I have had a very bad time with teeth latley and have had teeth pulled on the right side of my mouth and no longer have any molars at all on the right side. I also only have two molors on the left which are having repeat root canals . Therfore my speech is not always perfectly clear at the moment . They have a beautiful saxaphone man who was playing tv hits form the Golden Girls, Love Boat and more. I was dancing in my chair clapping my hands and being joyful. I did drop my glasses too which is just me . I got up and picked them up . The manager came to see what we wanted and I made the joke of next round is on you . She said something offensive back and clearly did not get that I was joking. In bad taste I made a joke related to sex. Shortly there after I was denied a drink and she was rude . She totally defameated my character by telling other patrons I was drunk . NOT TRUE at all. If I slur its because I am missing so many teeth in the back !!!!!!!! I have never been treated so rudely. This is the second time this restaurant has been rude to my family. Please do not go here. I have witness that I had one drink was not drunk - plentyof xrays showing how many teeth I am currently missing. Most of all I have never been treated so rudley and I am not letting this go . As for the owners repsonse totally inaccurate - rudest staff ever - the manager was beyond rude and did speak very ill of me to other patrons. She stormed off when I tried speaking to her. All and all this is my familys second poor experience with this place and none of us will return .There was no merit or exucuse for all the drama . If sitting in my chair clapping and knowing all the words to the songs and taking photos is incorrect then I dont want to go there anyway . Other then those totally adorable glasses shaped like birds and that wonderful saxaphone player there is nothing special about this place! My Son is an attorney and I am aware of Texas law. This was such a cute find for us in grapevine. We usually park the other end of the Main Street but we parked the side nearest this place and as we were walking by we thought it looked so nice we wanted to check it out. We had dinner reservations later so we only wanted a cocktail and an appetiser. We had the beef carpaccio which was delicious I had the purple haze cocktail and my husband had the bacon maple old fashioned both were good. Our server was friendly and the best part was the upstairs, outdoor patio overlooking the street. Such a nice vibe, perfect spring weather to enjoy it and they even have live bands in the evening. I've been to Piaf Kitchen so many times within the last two years. They have the best of both worlds as far as dining. If you're having a date night with your man or lady I recommend sitting downstairs it's classy. If you are a bunch of women that just wanna have a good time sit upstairs . Good food good drinks. Make a reservation as they fill up quickly. On weekends they have live music, which makes it entertaining especially when everybody sing along. And obviously the food is delicious. What I'm most impressed about is the service it's not only your waiter that's going to help your table, all the waiters help each other out which I find fantastic. They are all quick and courteous and fun Bunch of individuals. I usually order anything I do not make at home in the past few times I've ordered their lamb shank. Piaf is a fantastic Mediterranean and European-inspired spot! I've been to Piaf a couple of times and their complimentary pita chips with tzatziki sauce, hummus, and calamari are great. But allow me to explain what's really special... the lentils that come with their salmon!! I'm first generation Indian-American so I've been eating lentils my whole life but let me tell you I've never had lentils like these! They were smokey and cheesy.. why didn't I think of that!? I was impressed. The vibes are immaculate, especially upstairs! I came on a weekend during the holidays once and they had a saxophonist upstairs! There's also a large window upstairs that shows you Grapevine's Main Street below. It's great for people-watching lol! I've never had any complaints about their service either! Been here plenty of times and booked the patio, each time we've had to wait extremely long. Patio request means upstairs not anywhere you can find space for us. Really cool find! The main dining room is beautiful and comfortable. The staff very nice and knows the menu well. We did have a small glitch with our entrees being delayed due to a printer issue in the kitchen. The waiter brought us more wine as an apology for the delay. Everything we had tasted great. The vibe at this place is incredible. We ate upstairs which is open air. I felt like I was dining in a European country. Service was on point! And the food was incredible. Our table had a flatbread, the mussels, falafel, shish tawook, mushroom risotto, and Brussel sprouts. We all left stuffed because it was so good we couldn't stop. I think $42 for a piece of redfish and some mashed potatoes is high, But the fish was cooked well and the sauce was good The only vegetable they have to offer is broccolini, which theirs in particular is like trying to chew on some twigs-really awful. I've been there before so I knew the broccolini was gonna be bad, so I asked if I could substitute a different vegetable- and they had absolutely ZERO options for a swap! The waiter said I could upgrade brussels sprouts for an upcharge ...that was the only choice. I declined to pay extra because the brussels sprouts are equally bad - there's not a single bit of green left in them - they are fried to oblivion and very greasy. They really need to upgrade the vegetable game, it's not asking a lot for a restaurant like this. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants!  They have a great space upstairs that overlooks Main Street and they have live music on certain evenings.  The food has never disappointed me and the music has always been great.  The last time I went I had their wild mushroom risotto and it is wonderful - it is rich and earthy!!  I also had the Fattoush salad and added falafel.  It was tangy and fresh.  I am very picky about my falafel and it was very good!  I love their margarita flatbread as well as the sea bass.  I have had their rose water infused crème brulee twice and it is excellent, however I didn't taste any rose water at all - still delicious but if you are looking for that florally flavor you aren't gonna find it there!!  The flourless chocolate cake is very rich and yummy!! The waitstaff is always on top of it and know their stuff!  Piaf is excellent!!!  You should try it out!!!!! read more

I went about 6pm. The staff was very attentive. A couple servers came by to check if we needed anything. I got salmon. It was seasoned perfectly. This past Friday we booked the entire top floor patio for a rehearsal dinner, party of 35. The food was very good but what stood out to me was the service! They didn't just stick us with one or two servers...sometimes it felt like 6 or 7. Multiple people commented afterwards on the great service. The manager came to check on us several times. Finally made it to this place, we have been talking about checking it out for a while! So this place is 2 levels, down stairs-  street level is the bar area, very cool setting, loved the ambiance! We took the elevator upstairs to fine dinning area, what a beautiful design totally not expected! We made reservations, and we were seated right away. No paper menu just a bar code, waiter recommended some drinks, we ordered the pair martini, and the mazcal passion fruit they were yummy! They served fried Pita and Taziki very nice. We ordered the fried Calamari and artichokes supper fresh and the 2 sauces that it came with were very tasty,  and I couldn't make up my mind which I liked best - they were that good! We also ordered the squid ink rosoto with Scallops - that was very nicely done, very well combined with the strawberries, perfect flavors! We also ordered the crambulett with rose water, it was very light and fresh! I think it's my new favorite place, cannot wait to try the entire menu! read more

We always try and find someplace fun and new for our anniversary each June. We've found that there's always something unique to try up in Grapevine and PIAF Kitchen + Wine + Bar was no exception. We made a reservation ahead of time and all they had for our date was seating on the upstairs patio, which worried us a little on a 100 degree day in North Texas. But we figured if they were seating up there on a day like that, they must have it figured out. Sure enough, they did not disappoint. Their upstairs patio has panels and climate control to keep it comfortable. We were not uncomfortable at any point during our visit. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the host and directed to the elevator upstairs. We were subsequently greeted by our server, from whom we ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and an order of the beef carpaccio (we had stalked the menu ahead of time). The wine was perfect and very reasonably priced. The appetizer was absolutely delicious. Thinly sliced and served with capers and parmesan. We'll be ordering this again. For dinner, I ordered up the Sea Scallop and Squid Ink Risotto. The combination of flavors caught my eye and I just had to try it. Absolutely wonderful. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the fresh strawberries that garnished them went perfectly. For anyone who hasn't tried dishes with squid ink, it can be a bit intimidating since it's not a common ingredient. However, I can't recommend it enough. It adds an amazing and totally unique flavor to the already delicious risotto. My husband had the pork chops for dinner, which were equally perfectly cooked and delicious. For dessert, we grabbed a bottle of rose and the Tiramisu. The Tiramisu was to die for and again totally reasonably priced. We will definitely be back here. The service and ambience was excellent, the food was superb and the prices were spot on. Highly recommend this spot. read more

We had reservations for the loft and a request for a table by the windows as well. When we arrived, we were escorted to the table right in front of the live music. It was so loud, we could not even talk or hear our invited guests. The little chip bowl that came out complimentary (a refill was $6.00) was so sparse, that we wondered if the tariffs had hit the chip imports. The entrees we ordered were in the $30-$40 range, but very small portioned, but flavorful. The value was just not there though. We also ordered a couple of Chiffon Affogato desserts for $11.00 each. They were about the size of 4-5 bites, and the cake portion was too soggy after coffee was poured over it. Considering the size, quality and price, I would not recommend it. read more

Excellent ambiance. Think by the beach with a. Breeze and high ceilings but no beach. My wife and I had a relaxing meal with attentive service and excellent views. At sunset they opened up the shades and we had a beautiful view of Main Street. The menu is wide and I assume most are quality and fresh. We had the waiter ask us several times of everything was as we liked it. Could not be happier with the value per dollar and quality of food and wine list. This is a great spot for large groups or an double date. Live music every weekend. Loved it. read more

This is one of those places that you hesitate to review for fear that it'll be overrun with patrons. Then, you think, "why the heck would I do that? People should know about this place." PIAF opened in October 2019, and was open for just a few months before the pandemic started and it was forced to close. Needless to say, I'm happy they were able to open their doors again. This is a nice little Mediterranean/French restaurant north of the airport in an old-school part of Grapevine, and it's about to become one of my regular spots. We got the Baba Ghanoush, Beef Carpaccio, and Shrimp & Scallops and split them all. That, plus the delicious pita chips and dip, my Maple Bacon Old Fashioned, and her Malbec made it a really enjoyable **and filling!** culinary experience. We came here on a Saturday afternoon for a quick snack and drink. The atmosphere is very fun and it's perfect for a nice day with a patio roof. I had the maple bacon old fashioned 4/5. It was too sweet for me but it was still pleasant. We had the carpaccio board and it was great. The bread sticks that come with it are very good. I wasn't a fan of the tzatziki sauce that they autoigive you. But I'm not a cucumber fan at all. I will definitely come back for dinner or brunch! read more

I was leaving the airport and in need of sustenance. Yelp to the rescue! I showed up to Piaf just as their hapoy hour had started. I came in downstairs and as I preferred to sit upstairs, was escorted to the elevator. I arrived at the same time as another couple, to locked doors. We tried knocking and getting someone's attention, but we were out of luck. Not to be deterred, the woman there knew the elevator opened up on the other side of the restaurant and she went in and got them to let us in. It was a beautiful 60 January day, but unfortunately they had all the heavy curtains closed so the view and the sunset were not to be seen. They brought round some crisps and a yogurt dip, and I ordered a Malbec and their margarita flatbread. I really enjoyed the malbec. The yogurt dip and the flatbread were both very bland. The dip could have done with some garlic and acid. Lemon juice or red wine vinegar could have made it pop. The flatbread crust was perfectly cooked, albeit on the sweeter side. The mozzarella and tomatoes were barely warmed. The cheese was not melted to the bread and came off with the bite and the tomatoes were firm. The overwhelming flavor was just basil. Everything seemed underseasoned but potentially gotten there. Maybe it was just an off day. I really liked the decor, I wish they had had the curtains open. At some point a man walked in and turned the heaters on the wall on, set at 86. At that point it got uncomfortable and it was time to go. I will try again sometime when I can enjoy the view. That is the whole point of creating a fabulous patio, isn't it? read more
