I also got the lemon poppyseed loaf which was nice, overall the service was really kind and there were a lot of people at lunch hour. When the weather is nice, which a lot of the time the weather is just stunning in Vancouver, you can sit outside and enjoy the alfresco. It is a little small and you can also bring your own mug to have it filled with coffee.

Cevapi was served in a fluffy flat bread with onion, clotted cream, and roasted red pepper dip. It was our first time trying Balkan food and we enjoyed it. We also picked up some of the flat bread to go and this custard dessert. I recommend giving this place a try.

I always think I should get a loaf of bread here, as there's always a good selection of loaves, and they're like half the price (or less!) of comparable-looking loaves in all other stores I've been to. But I never have, as I've always had a newly-bought loaf at home. One day....!!! Counter staff here has always been friendly to us. It was moist and carefully made, with a strong ginger flavor that I really liked. It was similar to a pound cake but more unique than I expected. I'll definitely get this one again. The flatbread was also very delicious. Thinly sliced potatoes were on top of the well-seasoned bread, which had the perfect texture between hard and soft. It was so good! I came specifically for their cinnamon record, a giant circular pastry that tastes like an elephant ear or palmier. It had the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar, and it was crispy with just a little flakiness. It was so delicious and was so fun to eat. The pastry was huge that it took me three days to finish it. I kept nibbling on it as a snack throughout my trip, and I even had some left for my flight home. It came in handy at the airport and kept me from getting hungry while traveling. At just $6 CAD, it was also a great value. If you're visiting Granville Island Market, I highly recommend picking up a cinnamon record from Stuart's Bakery.
