We've been here a few times early when we're just heading out and it's a great spot for breakfast and brunch (haven't tried anything on lunch or dinner menu, yet). Cuban-inspired menu with many options. We were a large party and everyone ordered something different and it was all amazing. Great service, great prices, and large portions. Oh yeah, great Puerto Rican coffee and a full bar.

The food was really good. We tried the rustic potato, oatmeal, cappuccino, coffee and toast. They all were very delicious. Just be aware of additional charges they might put for whipped cream on top of cappuccino ($5) or anything else. It is better to ask if they are charging you for additional toppings as they would offer as if it is part of the meal. I just felt a bit dishonesty in terms of forcing you to get drinks or the additional charges. But the food and place is enjoyable.

We actually ended up eating here twice. Every thing we had was to die for! The coffee was excellent as well. Absolute gym of a restaurant. Rey was outstanding waiter, excellent recommendations!

I definitely recommend It super flavorful and good prices for the plate decor and environment we loved it

    Some items on the menu

Food was great, very inexpensive and large portions but the menu is in Spanish so bring a translator or ask the waiter to explain. It's in a plaza with other stores so you can eat and then shop after. Service was nice and quick and switched between English and Spanish very well. It's a smaller place though so i wouldn't go with too many people. Drinks were all way too sweet except for the coffee which wouldn't get sweet enough. It's also partially a bar so if you'd like alcoholic drinks, they have.

One of their excellent breakfast options

We do travel with a wheelchair. The server was very good and well knowledgeable on the menu. He was even photographed in the menu. We ordered a couple cocktails as well as many appetizers. We didn't order any entrees, as our family likes to try many things. My wife's favorite is ceviche and she was impressed by this dish. (Order it) We also ordered fish bites. Solid choice as the guava sauce was memorable. La arepas de coconut. Solid. The fish empanadas were great. Definitely order those. But calamari was chewy and overcooked. I'd pass on this. Cocktails were amazing. Spicy margarita is spicy!! I had a mojito which was delicious. You won't go wrong with any cocktail. Server was great. He did mention to me that we should order soon as the kitchen will get busy. We waited as we were enjoying our dinner. (We didn't have any problems) I'd go back. I'd also suggest sticking to your plan. It's your evening and don't let service control the experience. At the end of it...you control the tip = thank you.

I wanted the Mofongo with Lobster but could only get Lobster whole. We ordered two whole lobsters and both were quite over cooked. What a disappointment!

They accommodated our big group perfectly, and the entire staff handled the seating and service without a single hiccup. When we arrived, our table was ready and made it easy for everyone to talk and enjoy the evening together. We kicked off the night with classic cocktails cultivated by our bartender, Samuel. The mixed drinks were nicely complimented with the coconut bread, fried cheese and an absolutely phenomenal tuna tartare which set the bar incredibly high for the rest of the meal. The absolute highlight of the night was bringing in our own freshly caught fish, a king mackerel. Reservation is highly recommended if you plan to do this. The kitchen prepared it three ways for us--into the most vibrant, citrusy ceviche, incredible fish tacos and seared mackerel steaks to absolute perfection. The multiple styles blew us away and tasted unbelievably fresh. Every other dish we ordered were equally spectacular. The Peruvian fried rice was packed with flavor and the octopus was perfectly tender. You can't leave PR without trying the plantains, which added the perfect touch of sweetness to our culinary smorgasbord. Our server, Johaneyshka was incredibly attentive and kept the entire evening running smoothly. To top it all off, the owner, Jose personally came out to our table to talk with us. He was super nice, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly well-versed in the food and flavors. He shared his passion for a cuisine that nurtures the soul, fills the belly, and brings his culture to life, revealing it as the driving force behind his restaurant. That personal touch made our night feel truly special. If you are looking for a top-tier, local spot that blends Puerto Rican flavors with a Peruvian cuisine, cozy group dining, a place that will masterfully prepare your own catch, and treat you like family, Pézkame is an absolute must-visit in Puerto Rico!

Everything we ordered was excellent--the fish tacos, ceviche, pollo chaufa, lomo saltado, and shrimp huancaína did not disappoint. Every dish was flavorful and genuinely delicious. We'd definitely come back! One minor negative was some nickel-and-diming on extras. When we asked for water for the table, we were brought five $2 bottles rather than tap water. We were also charged $1.50 for a tiny takeout container of hot sauce--about a ketchup packet's worth--to go with our two orders of fish tacos. Neither charge was mentioned when we asked. Not a big deal given how much we enjoyed the meal, but something to be aware of.

The restaurant is spacious, family-friendly, clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and quick. They're open Thursday-Sunday from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Now let's get down to the food! We started with the meatballs, and OMG--they were huge and absolutely delicious! Then came the wings, and if you know my daughter, you know she's a picky eater... but she had no problem going to town on those wings! For pizza, we ordered two: Sausage & peppers Half pepperoni and half chicken When I tell you there were 10 of us, and everyone left full and happy, I mean it! We also ordered a salad, and everything we had was fresh and full of flavor. Of course, we couldn't skip the drinks! Our waiter recommended the Dress Italiana, which was such a refreshing way to start the meal. We also tried a Rum Punch, Piña Colada, and a Moscow Mule, and they were all great. I have to say, it's really hard to find a truly great pizza place these days, so when I find one, I'm going to give them their flowers. This place definitely earned them. The restaurant started filling up fast around 6:30 PM, and it's easy to see why. Whenever I'm back in Puerto Rico and craving pizza, Rustica will be my go-to. Highly recommend!
