Love, love love Picasso! I've been going here for years and have probably seen every nail tech at least once. Everybody is so attentive, polite, and goes out of their way to make sure I feel comfortable and that I'm happy with my service. There's never a question if I notice something that I want changed or if I break a nail before it's been two weeks (I'm very rough on my hands). It rarely happens, but they're always accommodating. I love the dip options they have - The brand 'Two Guys' is the almost best. Price might be a little bit higher than surrounding salons, but it's worth it to be treated so well and to leave with your nails looking so great.

I had such a terrible experience at this nail salon as a first-time customer. I arrived to a relatively empty salon only to be kept waiting for over 25 minutes The lack of communication from the staff about the delay was frustrating and unprofessional. Additionally I was not offered a drink or a menu while I waited in the pedicure chair. Once I was finally seated with a nail technician, they barely acknowledged me and seemed disinterested in providing good customer service. The technician was not personable at all and did not engage in any conversation throughout the appointment. What was more disheartening was when I was asked what type of pedicure I wanted I stated I never received a menu. My tech stated "we have 30$, 40$, 50$ pedicures which do you want?" I responded it's not about the price- I need to know what each pedicure service includes which is why I need a menu. He laughed and got me a menu. On a semi positive note, the quality of the work was pretty good. The technician was meticulous yet very rough causing me to be cut while he scratched wax off my feet with his nails. Overall, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and customer service especially since my friend recommended this salon to me.

It's really hard to find a good nail place. I will say that I use Tracey and she does an amazing job every time! She doesn't just rush through it. She takes her time and make sure that she does exactly what you're wanting, and even suggesting other details. I would recommend coming here. The aesthetic is cute, flowers everywhere they offer drinks if you're thirsty, and if you are needing a glass of wine they have you covered! I am always satisfied with my nails when I leave they look beautiful! I don't know what I would do if Tracey left! read more

My daughter started getting dip nails and didn't like where we were going. We tried Picasso, liked her nails better, and we had been here three times. She broke her nail, and we came in for a repair Today. They noticed her nails were not up to their standards and insisted on redoing all of them at no cost. They looked up when she had been there, took a picture to show other staff, and she got new nails-no charge. I hadn't noticed what they did, and I am thoroughly impressed. We are new to getting nails done, and they have a new loyal customer. Top notch. read more

It's Wednesday afternoon. It's the day before FISD starts school. Every woman/daughter and the ocasional dad thought of getting mani and pedi to start the year right! I guess I'm one of those moms and I go with my teenage daughter to get our nails done. I'm also a teacher so I want to look professional for my students. We walked in and immediately were told it was going to be a 10/15 mins wait. Cool not that much waiting time. I was also having the Picasso pedicure because I wanted that "20" minutes massage they promote on their menu. Long story short the wait was 30 mins before they started my pedi. There were no 20 mins massage at all. More like 10ish even though I was going to pay 45$ for that pedicure. Then the lady that did my nails (gel) was in a hurry and didn't allow my nails to dry under the UV drying machine. She finishes in a rush and leaves. I look at my nails and they are ruined. I asked to get them fixed before leaving. They sent the same lady who was chewing her food and tells me she was very hungry (hence the rush). She fixes the nails again very fast. At this point I'm so disappointed and tired I just want to pay and leave. I've been there for 2 plus hours. No apologies later and no discount later, I paid and left. They lost a customer today. This place is not worth the 120$ I paid for my services and my daughter's. read more

Ive been coming here for YEARS. At 51 and being a former licensed nail tech (early 90's) this place is CONSISTENTLY GREAT! Grant it i no longer wear acrylics or anything on my nails, i have and came here. I get being super picky on the artistry of nails, ive been as picky as most definitely finding that ONE person and setting appointments to stay with that person. I get manis and mainly pedicures now. I can be picky about shape (square) and by God, i like a good massage. I have never had a bad job here, ever. In fact, if i find myself elsewhere in town, i still will not go just anywhere, i make an effort to come to Picasso bc i can pretty much guarantee it will be a mindless great experience each time. Cut my ingrowth nail so bad it's still bleeding, said sorry it was a bad ingrowth. She applied some liquid and it burned bad Still bleeding and I know I can't wear any closed toe shoes for sometime The nail color was so bad it came off, could be she never took the paraffin off before applying nail color. ZERO stars. A lot of salons just want to rush you in and out (they weren't busy ) This is one of them. She filed my nails so short after I told her it hurt 3TIMES!!! She put super glue over my cuts... TERRIBLE PLACE!!!!! Do not spend ur money here. My nails are in pain after her putting SUPER GLUE over my cuts SHE made on my finger nails!!! read more

Jessie over did my cuticles and now they hurt and have to wear bandaids. She cut my cuticles and my nails are uneven. While I was there she kept speaking in another language and was acting upset. I began to think they were prodigious because there was a Caucasian lady that was there before me and they were very attentive to her and rubbed (I had a pedicure deluxe) her longer then me and she had ordered the same thing as I did. So I booked my first appointment with Maggie and walked in to the appointment slightly nervous. I've had a bunch of Brazilian waxes over the last couple years but for some reason still was feeling nervous! The first impression of the place was a smallish hole in the wall place but it opened up to a much larger set of rooms with many waxers. The front desk girl greeted me and I was seen quickly by Maggie. Maggie is an absolute gem! Very very nice and welcoming lady who truly seems to enjoy her work. I let her know and she was patient with me through the whole process. Now be forewarned! Maggie's technique was different than the other esthetician I went to before. But her technique is was makes the hair stay away for even longer! So just trust that she knows what she's doing. She treats her clients like family and works really hard at this skill. She was informed of who I was and why I was there! She was prepared! As we made our way to the back space, she explained the lash lift procedure and even gave her expert recommendation on a personalized look for me! I had no idea there was a range of ways to tackle a lash lift and I've had this done plenty of times before and no one ever asked! When I say she did a great job, I mean, she was inspecting each one of my toe nails like a jeweler inspecting a diamond. She actually scrubbed the rough spots on my feet and took time to make sure the polish was on perfectly. Even though there were a few people in the shop, I did not once feel rushed or uncomfortable. Plus, one of the employees had her kid there who was seriously one of the cutest freakin kids I've ever seen running around offering me Ritz crackers. If you're in the area, come give these ladies some support. I was very impressed and will be back!

I absolutely love Picasso Nails and Spa! It's become like a second home to me and my daughter. I want to first start off by explaining how particular I can be. To my friends and family, I'm considered the most critical individual they know. I will not hesitate to require someone begin anew when I perceive my experience is not to my standards. My motto is, "If I'm paying for it, I should be satisfied." Since purchasing my home in the Mckinney/Frisco area six years ago, I've visited a few places because my previous go-to nail salon was much too far away. I had one horrible experience after another until five years ago when I walked into Picasso Nails and Spa. While not every experience was perfect in the beginning, they worked tirelessly to ensure I became a happy customer and succeeded every time. This dedication made me return time and time again. Now, five years later, I will never visit another salon. It's like I am at home with family and friends when I visit (which is every two weeks religiously - Ha!). My daughter (age 9), who is as particular and opinionated as I, feels free to be herself there and she loves hanging out with everyone. They have been there for me through three surgeries and countless major milestones in my life and I have been there for them through their milestones as well. Owner - Anna, Manager - Dan, Technicians - Tina, Kay, Vicky, Tran, and Michael....thank you for all you've done for me, my family, and friends. I'm glad you guys are apart of my life and that you have welcomed me into yours. You are all special to me and thank you a ton for dealing with my neurosis! I have been visiting this salon for over 3 years and have never had a problem. I use the same nail tech for my Nexgen but use anyone available for pedicures. Some are better than others but I have never had any problems, some are just more experienced. True some don't speak English well but a smile to them goes a long way. Love the look of the place and its kept clean. I have been going to nail salons over 20 years, in several states, and this is one of the top places. Also, I don't try to tell them how to do their job, they are the professionals. Most of the bad reviews seem to be from micro-managing personalities. I am known to the staff so I always get greeted warmly, however, again, I am there to get my nails and feet done, don't care about "how I am greeted". Just let me relax. Anyone that has gone to salons knows its rare to have nail techs stay for a long time in one place. This place seems to keep many of their employees a long time. I know many of them by name/face for several years. It's a very busy place, especially on the weekends so be kind to those who are working, it goes a long way. My husband accompanies me a lot for a pedicure and he likes how relaxed he is made to feel. Best place to me! read more

My favorite place in the entire world!!! I get my nails done here biweekly and will not go anywhere else! My favorite ladies here are Helen, Quincy and Tee (they are so good at Nex Gen). I went from biting my nails to having long, beautiful nails and they are all natural (no tips here!). Two of my friends have started getting this method of acrylic because it has worked so well for me. Everyone is very sweet at Picasso's, it is always clean and has a great atmosphere. I tip very well and so should you! The workers definitely deserve it!! If you are tipping less than 30%, then you should go to a cheaper place!!! read more

Have been a loyal customer for almost 3 years now, have never been disappointed. Love this place because they offer Gen Dip powders, so much more healthier for your nails vs acrylics. My nails never lift, or break or are filed to thin. Have been to various techs that work there and they all do a great job. Today I had Jackie and she was amazing and detailed and left me a great coffin shape. Environment is always nice, clean and friendly and I love that they have the hgtv channel on. I love this place! I've tried several of the nail places in the area whenever I have coupons and none of them ever compare to Picasso. Cece does my NexGen nails and is always super sweet and willing to go out of her way to make sure I get exactly what I want. She always works with me and my schedule, is always on time, treats me like a true friend, and does a fantastic job.
