Perfect place to order from if you want quality, fast casual Italian food. Located off Del Amo near West High School, I've driven past Piccini nearly every day. Finally, found the occasion to try it when we were hosting a party of 8. As the name implies, it's just takeout. Nothing more than a kitchen and counter inside. No tables. We ordered online ahead of time. Two family meals: one pasta and two pizzas. Each came with a salad and bread. The bolognese was great. Fresh pasta drenched in meat sauce. It's a bit heavy, but flavor was on point and I kept going for more. Also, fantastic to sop up the sauce with cheesy bread. The pizzas were one topping only, so we went with pepperoni and mushroom. Both were solid, but I'm regretting not getting the diavolo. Overall, the food is good but wish the portions were a bit bigger. Prices are reasonable. I had my kids 4th birthday at Dig It around the corner and did Piccini for catering. It's surprisingly hard to find 1030 am catering on a Saturday, but they met the bill! Super easy to order, food was ready when promised, and everything was good. The pizzas got devoured and we had leftover pasta for days. I have seen this place next door to my Acupuncture place for 6 months now. I finally had the chance to try it. I ordered the Sweet Daviola. Wow, I like sweet. It looked delicious when I opened the box. As I took my first bite, it was so mouth watering, it seemed to me that the sweet honey drizzle was on top of pepperoni's. I found out this place also is family owned, the same family as Giulianos in Gardena. And I also found out this place is also associated with Gaetano's & Bettolino Kitchen. I live across the street from Guiliano's. I will definitely come back to try more on their menu. The ambiance looks kept well for take out. First time at the Torrance location after visiting the RPV location a few weeks back. Had to get the Diavola quarter slice which was just as amazing as the other location. Mozzarella cheese, burrata, char pepperoni, and hot honey is so yum! The "kid's" mac and cheese is more like a regular size. It's pasta with creamy cheese beneath it so, I had to mix it up. Anyway, I found it to be bit too salty but the hubby liked it more than I did. Hubby got the meatball sandwich for the 2nd time. That's his fave so far. As Takeout is their primary thing, there is one table outside on the patio. We opted to have our lunch there and take the leftovers home. Service is great. Friendly, efficient guy at the counter. Got a large cheese pizza ($17.49) with pepperoni ($2.25) and mushroom ($2.25) plus a turkey avocado sandwich ($12.95). Everything was delicious. Thin styled pizza crust. The sauce was balanced. Good amount of toppings. The sandwich roll had a nice texture. Very tasty turkey. Service was very friendly and helpful. I requested the pizza to be well done. Unfortunately, that was not possible. I vaguely remember coming here a couple times back when their menu was simpler with a variety of sandwiches, pasta, and a few options for pizza. Finally writing a review and showing this place some love after coming back a 3rd time. I ordered a quarter slice of the Sweet Diavola pizza and CYO pasta with marinara+sausage+red bell peppers+garlic. I was pleasantly surprised to see the generous portion of pasta and protein - made me feel as if I got my money's worth. Pizza was also so dang good, I wished I ordered a medium instead. I'm re-reading what other pizza options are available through my phone. I'll have to come back just to try Pizza Bianca AND the Sausage Hunter cause I'm an absolute sucker for the toppings listed. My only bits of feedback are that I wished the pizzas were a little cheaper. It took me a promo code that was mailed locally to get me to come back in. This place is a hidden gem. I was looking for Italian food near work. I have a short lunch break and wanted a take out food. I found this on Yelp and gave it a try. This food was amazing. I got the Fettuccini Brasato and the Hawaiian pizza. Both were delicious. The pasta had really good flavor although I think the fettuccini might have been overcooked because it kind of broke apart. I still really enjoyed the dish. The pizza's dough was also very good. It had a nice layer of cheese and feels very light. The price is also very reasonable. Our office all enjoyed the food from here. Definitely would be a place we would order again. read more

So I've been here many times before but it's been a long time. Thought I get me a chicken pesto sandwich. In the past the sandwich was so good and flavorful. Sad to say I was disappointed this time. I got the sandwich and the South Bay Cesar salad. For the salad, it was meh. The Cesar dressing tasted watered down. And for the sandwich, it's as if the pesto had no seasoning at all. Very bland. Granted they only do pizza by the slice for a certain time it was worth the price with a total of $6 for two slices! The Diavola had Hot Honey that was sweet and had a nice kick. The Jalapeños weren't really that spicy! But the staff was friendly and there was lots of parking! Worth a try especially if you need a quick lunch! I tried Piccini Italian Takeout for the first time, and let me say... I was pleasantly surprised! The concept is a Takeout restaurant. So no dining in, got it. I went over the online menu, opted to try something that you would assume an Italian restaurant can't go wrong with, pepperoni pizza. I got a text saying the eta of my pick up inside the chain. I noticed many patrons going inside and getting their to go orders. My text alert popped up. Walked inside, to a nice clean bright inside. I was immediately greeted by two associates who vied for my request! So I gave my name, and the box was pipping hot with my pizza. I got inside my car, opened the box and saw the most yummy looking pizza with so many pepperoni pieces covering the dough and cheese and sauce! I got home and dove right into 2 slices. I loved that the dough was light, airy and not dense. The cheese to sauce ratio, was perfect. I did request well bake on my order. I don't feel like that was accomplished with the bake, but otherwise I could get past it. I'm sure in the future when I return, I might place my order inside the location just to speak the order to a live person and ensure before leaving the bake is well done. But definitely a nice edition to the RPV area for a full menu of Italian food at reasonable prices. read more

One thing that's great is that the menu is not overly large which means they must make the existing menu well. We ordered the Fettuccine Brasato, Caesar Salad, and one of their pizzas. Their takeout store, which is in a small strip mall, has an online menu with a good variety of choices. One of our party is a vegetarian so we chose The Bianca pizza - garlic, spinach, risotto, mozzarella, and white sauce. We ordered food from Piccini after the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. We got cheese pizza, chicken fettuccine Alfredo and caesar salad. We were starving after the awards show that I didn't get a chance to take any photos. I know, crazy! Lol. First off, I don't usually love fettuccine Alfredo but our kids love it and not gonna lie, this Alfredo was ridiculously good. The sauce was everything and the pasta was perfection. No joke. I'm a huge fan of Caesar salads and this Caesar was so good. Just the right amount of tang and so tasty. The pizza itself was just ok but the highlights were definitely the Alfredo and Caesar. This was disappointing considering the reviews on here. We ordered through Doordash. It took surprisingly long, considering that I don't live far. But maybe they were busy or it took time to prepare, so that's not a real negative. What is a real negative is that the pizza came cold, and the crust was moist and a little soggy. The vegetables, especially the onions, were completely raw. We wound up throwing most of it away. I know it's delivery, but I've ordered from other places further away, and the food came wrapped, hot and fresh. This one came in a box that wasn't insulated, and it must have been sitting around for a while considering its condition. I've had good luck with this place before, but this was a poor experience. We normally go here for pizza, since it's great (softest crust!), but we got mac and cheese for my daughter tonight and that is what brought me to Yelp today. I think this is the best macaroni and cheese I've had from a restaurant in years. It's a perfectly executed version of basic macaroni (al dente noodles, great flavor, sauce the right consistency). I feel kind of nuts writing this but I've always loved mac and cheese and there's rarely a medium ground between the crusty boxed version and the truffle oil + breadcrumbs version.
