Went in for the all you can eat lunch, I had never been there and. I expected a salad bar similar to Shakey's. To my surprise, they bring you your first order and then you may reorder. For my first time eating here, my experience was great! I placed a phone order and the woman who helped me had a great attitude, and was very eager to answer any questions I had. I ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and an order of their cinnamon bites. The pizza was hot and fresh and hit all the points as far as "good" pizza, for me, personally. I didn't care too much for the cinnamon bites because they were a bit too crunchy for my liking, but my fiancé loved them. Overall it was a good experience and a good meal. Large calzone so much smaller, no dressing on small Caesar salad and four pieces of bite-size chicken when chicken added ($11), small breadsticks had hard bread. This place seems to get worse everytime. Went in for a piece of pizza and the price of a piece of pizza was the exact price of a slice with a drink!. The front counter person never even offered the drink option. I get home and sit down to eat, the pizza is burned. The cheese is burned and the burned crisps are hanging on the pizza. The crust is burned and it tastes horrible. I'm not going to walk back in this cold so I ate what I could salvage. Their food is VERY INCONSISTENT, depends on who's cooking on what night. Tonight it seemed to be the high school seniors night. Doing homework or whatever on a computer, talking about the cooks mother. No wonder the place always seems to be empty now. There seems to be no consistency in their cooking. The last time I had it, the pastrami was not greasy. It had some nice crispy areas to the pastrami, it was SO good! When I worked in Torrance our office frequently ordered from here. Today we were in Torrance for a soccer tournament and my daughter wanted pizza. After being at soccer field all day I ordered a glass of Bud Light. Was expecting at least a Pint. Seems like I got about 12 ounces in a tiny beer mug. Not worth 6.50 at all. Which really didn't have any garlic and just lots of butter snd Parmesan cheese. To say this was better than pizza tells you just how good the pizza was. There was a salad also. How was the salad you say!?!? It was lettuce, with shredded mozzarella, and four pieces of pepperoni on top. Not much of a salad. My daughters pet turtle may love all that lettuce though. Should not even be called a salad. Call it chopped lettuce head with your choice of dressing instead. The Large pepperoni and sausage pizza with onions and bell peppers on half, was just OK. Lacking flavor. Sausage was skimpy almost couldn't tell it was there. Sauce was skimpy. A little more sauce could have made it better. Again. Overall. Just ok. Nothing to say I really want to come back here again. Maybe other items are good. So would you go there again you ask me!?!? Well after being a customer since 1982 when they were on Sepulveda.The quality of the food is just not the same. We used to order at least one or two times a week. But that has come to an end. My last 4 orders were not what keeps a customer coming back. After the first screw up (strike 1)I thought maybe it was just an off day. Second screw up (strike 2) I sent an email and never got a response back. The third time(strike 3) I kind of blew it off. But this last Sunday (strike 4) did it in, the order was pretty bad there is no longer good quality in the prep of the food not like when Sherrie ran the place. The people who answer the phone to take the orders and the Delivery guy are top notch but the kitchen needs a lot of help read more

The cinnamon knots are just the most delectable: drowned in butter and cinnamon sugar it's impressive I haven't gained 15 lbs just thinking about eating them. There have been a couple instances where the food came out not so stellar and this was only revealed once we were home so there was no use asking for a new pizza. For 6.50 you get a container full of delish garlic buttery goodness. I am not a meat eater so, for my first time with Rizzo's, I tried the cheese and tomato pizza. Fresh, tasty, and plentiful cheese and tomatoes. The crust is very breaded and I felt I needed to dip it in something. Overall, a very good pizza. What happened to Rizzo's? This has been my family's favorite (and my husband's family favorite) pizza for decades but the last year we've seen it decline to the point of being almost inedible. And way overpriced for what it is. The pizza is now tasteless on the same level of frozen pizza. Even the garlic bread hasn't been good.
