I drive by this place all the time and finally decided to try it out. I ordered the classic cheeseburger and add bacon for an extra charge. My daughter got the original cheeseburger. When we got our meals first thing I noticed is how thin the patty was. Also my daughter only got 1 pickle. Even McDonald's gives you more than 1 pickle. So compared to 5 guys I like it there a whole lot better. You can choose your toppings and they give you a lot. So I wouldn't recommend this place and I won't be coming back. Only reason I gave it 2 starts instead of 1 is because the food wasn't bad for the price but I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to 5 guys. read more

I found this location to be much inferior to the original. The burger was meh at best. Very dry. The fries were not as greasy and limp as they should be. This is one of my all time favorite burger joints. The Deluxe Cheeseburger is one of the best burgers I have ever had. Fresh, crisp vegetables, delicious meat and cheese..... I'm now drooling on myself. Their shakes do not disappoint either. My favorite is the seasonal fresh strawberry malt, the strawberries are fresh and grown locally. While over on the west side, we sought out this burger legend, PICK QUICK, now in a squeaky clean new location, thanks to the tip of a friend. Well worth the trip! Fabulous burgers and fresh home made fries. While we barely had room after, I was glad we ordered the orange milkshake for me (tastes like the creamsicle of my youth), and my daughter a hot fudge sundae. Everything was authentic, nostalgic, and delicious. Really fun decor, and eco-friendly. This is the quintessential American burger joint. What a treat. Don't miss it. We'll definitely be back. The Fife location has always been one of my favorite burger joints...this Auburn location was very good. Not as good as Fife but still worth the 5 stars. Fresh cut fries are the best and the burgers are not your typical Mcdonalds. I will always go back to Pick Quick....Fife or Auburn. read more

I am never somone to take the time to write a yelp review, but I work in the service industry and was treated so badly I had to tell others about how I was put down and discriminated for wearing workout clothes after a jog. I went in to get food with my boyfriend after a jog today, I thought I was going to get to enjoy my delicious burger in peace but this extremely rude Hispanic lady who was working named Jessica discriminated me ask me "what are you wearing" and told me I need to cover up, I just smiled at her, she continued to give me dirty looks making me feel so uncomfortable I had to sit outside. Mind you i just got done jogging so of course I was wearing yoga pants, sneakers, and a crop top, I was sweaty from running so i had my jacket off. I have never been spoken to or disrespected like that at a restaurant in my whole life. The manager was very nice and apologetic and made the rude employee jessica apologise but when she came to say sorry her apology was not sincere at all as she rolled her eyes at me and she said she was just mad because her kids and the man she was with where staring at me. I honeslty will not be going back if Jessica will be working there. No one deserves to be treated that way. I work in the service industry and would never treat a guest like that ever, no matter how unwholesome they are being. The food is amazing at pick quick, they just need to hire more friendly employees like Marilyn, Marilyn was such a sweet heart. Love the Pick-Quick burgers! I've been to the Auburn store a couple times, and it was great every time. I usually get the double deluxe and fries. It's not fast food, it's good food. It's not slow, but it's not like the corporate fast food garbage factories, it takes a reasonable amount of time just so that you know that your meal was made for you and not pre-cooked! It's not cheap, you won't find any dollar meal garbage, but it's priced reasonably for a good burger, around $7.50 for a double deluxe and fries, around $10 if you add in a shake. They're a small locally owned restaurant with only two locations, and their in store advertising supports locally sourced and sustainable. Probably in the top five best burgers I've ever had. read more

This place has really great burgers! They are all beef and just super delicious and not super greasy like fast food burgers. The fries are fresh cut and are amazing. They are no Dicks burgers but if you are like us and live on the South side and are craving a really good burger for not a lot of money you should come here. Two stars might be a bit harsh but I was really underwhelmed. Pluses, staff was nice and friendly, inside was clean. The shakes were really good. Minuses, hamburgers are SMALL, if you are expecting gourmet burgers this is not the place and if you are hungry better order two doubles. The big deal breaker for me was the fries, they are flat you gross. I realize that taste is subjective but these were limp masses of greasy shoestring potatoes. I live close to this restaurant,but will not go there except for ice cream. The prices make no sense. I ordered a regular Hot Dog. I asked what made the deluxe deluxe. Ketchup onions,relish!! Was at the Fife location this evening and brought some friends who never have been to Pick Quick. They loved it and they grew up in Olympia. I grew up with this type of fresh Hamburgers and Fries from In & Out in Southern California from the late 50's. Pick Quick is a class act and stands out with the quality, service and price! But like In & Out Pick Quick is CLEAN and it shows, the grounds at Fife bring back the memories of other little independent Hamburger Stands of long ago. I was very excited to see Pick Quick open a dine in location other than the take out in Fife. I must say after they first opened my food was extremely cold and tasteless. I came back to give it another try and the second time was even worse. The bun was moldy. I asked for another burger and the second meal that I received the bun was completely stale.
