WHY I CAME HERE? I wanted to pick up one dinner entree from Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors as a precursor before heading over to The Poke Co & Wings. Yes, I was hungry! LOL FOOD / DRINK / DESSERT: Menu had a variety of rice, noodle, and salad options with different proteins such as chicken, steak, shrimp, and salmon. I didn't want to get the same old rice and noodle dish. Something did catch my eyes... it was the Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon Grilled Teriyaki. That's what I got. The lady staff asked me what kind of rice I wanted. When I heard egg fried rice, my eyes lifted and said yes. Well, I didn't know egg fried rice was an upgrade for $2.49 more until I saw my receipt. I know it was indicated in small print on the menu which I obviously did not notice LOL. It would have been nice if I was informed it is an upgrade and if I was okay to pay extra for it. I better ask next time. Lesson learned for me. Anyway, salmon could have been a thicker piece. Flavor was okay. Egg fried rice was okay, too. It didn't have much wok flavor to it. I didn't see too much egg. I will not upgrade next time. Veggies were the highlight of the dish. Overall, entree was just okay. Honestly, I don't think it was worth the $17+ that I paid for it. I didn't get a drink or ask for water. As for dessert, I got the complimentary fortune cookie that came with my entree. I actually don't care for their fortune cookie. It doesn't taste right to me. STAFF / SERVICE: I got a slightly warm welcome from the lady behind the counter. I got a warmer welcome from a different lady who took my order. They weren't super busy if at all. My order was to-go. Just had to wait a little bit. INTERIOR / AMBIANCE: Bright and clean interior. Good comfortable inside seating. No outside seating. One men's restroom and one women's restroom available for use. They have the code key pad, but they don't appear to work. EXTERIOR / PARKING: Clean exterior. Free parking is plenty as it's located at the Glendora Marketplace Shopping Center in the City of Glendora. Btw, they don't have a drive-thru. The drive-thru that you see to the right of them belongs to Chick-fil-A. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE? I find their Asian flavors are just mediocre. Honestly, I can't say they are the most authentic Asian foods. Please try them for yourself and make your own call. Thank you! read more

While prices are a little higher than say Panda Express the difference in ingredients quality is immediately noticeable. We had the house chicken with fried rice and the Mongolian beef with noodles. The staff at this Pick up Stix is unbelievably rude - constantly. I am at this Pick up Stix about once a week and all of the women who work the register/take out area are during dinner appalling. They are rude to other customers on the phone, rude to those of us getting take out, will barely give any fortune cookies or soy sauce, make you feel like you're bothering them when you ask for it, and then chuck them in the bag and walk away. Considering chick fil a is right next door and their customer service is off the charts I don't understand why Pick up Stix continues to operate this way. The woman working tonight did not give me her name but she always wears a large hair clip - she's one of the worst staff members when it comes to customer service. You'd be better off having a robot. The manager was very helpful in describing the dishes and making recommendations. I ended up ordering the Thai Coconut Curry with chicken and brown rice. He brought it out to me with a bowl of condiments to select from. There was an ample amount of tasty white meat chicken in my dish with Julianne carrots, red bell peppers, broccoli, and onion.
