I must say that the food is delicious although from reading some reviews, it's not authentic Chinese food. The food tastes fabulous. It's got an Asian flair to it with all its choices of sauces and noodles. It's fast food it's American Chinese fast food. Price is a bit high but then again for every fast food restaurant you're going to pay lots of money. At least this food is worth the price you pay. I've downloaded the app and on several occasions come in using the rewards that come up in the app to obtain my food. When you use a place often and you enjoy their food what does it matter what it cost. So grateful for the rewards. read more

My hubby and I recently had a great experience at the Pick Up Stix in Lakewood, and we wanted to take a moment to share it. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls, Kung Pao tofu, and cream cheese wontons (which I really enjoyed). Everything was fresh, flavorful, and definitely a level above what you'd expect from typical fast casual spots. Honestly, we both prefer this place over Panda Express -- the food simply tastes better, and the ingredients feel higher quality. It's our go-to now. What really made our visit stand out, though, was the outstanding service. We want to give a special shoutout to DAVID, who was our cashier and also brought the food to our table. He had incredible manners, was thorough in explaining the menu, provided suggestions, and used very polite and respectful language throughout our visit. I'm not sure what happened to this location. We used to get delivery all the time and we're very satisfied but the last two times it's been really bad. One time the house chicken was just full of the yucky or part of the chicken and even found a couple tiny bones. They got one of our rices wrong, but that wasn't a huge deal. This time our food was hot. I watched the drivers they delivered on DoorDash and they did have one stop right before ours, but it was right before ours so I don't know how long our food was sitting there at the restaurant? Also the white rice and the brown rice were both very al dente. We were probably their first order cause they had just opened for the day so I won't be doing that again. Big bummer though! read more

Terrible service and nasty, rude attitude from the staff (worst part is I believe he was the manager). I waited nearly 30 minutes for a single entree / order which would be understandable on a busy night or if they were short-staffed but that wasn't the case. Everyone who ordered before and even well after me, including large parties with 8+ orders, received their food before I did. It was frustrating to watch people who ordered 10 minutes after me walk out with their meals while I was still waiting. Completely unacceptable experience. I never leave reviews, and I wouldn't have said anything just for a long wait but the rude, dismissive attitude I experienced is what pushed me to write this. That and the fact that the meal was inedible and not fully cooked. So basically threw away and wasted money and half and of an hour of my time for food I can't even eat AND I had to deal with the rude attitude from the manager. I waited almost 30 minutes for a single entree order. A long wait can happen I get it busy nights, short staffing, I get that. But this wasn't that. People who ordered large group meals, and even customers who placed their orders 10 minutes after me, all got their food before I did. I overheard them mention they were out of rice and needed to make more which again if that's the case, fine of course I need to wait but what isn't fine is that everyone before me was served rice so if they had fulfilled my order properly, I wouldn't have been affected at all. And to top it all off, when I finally got home and sat down to eat the "new" "fresh" rice that I waited for wasn't even cooked. Hard, underdone, and completely inedible. If simple white rice can't be cooked correctly, I'm not exactly confident in how they're preparing the rest of the food especially the meat. It raises serious concerns about the preparation and overall quality of the rest of the food... or they knowingly served undercooked rice just to rush my order out. I'm not sure which is worse but either way it is completely unacceptable. read more

Horrible horrible and RUDE. I should have learned my lesson when I presented two weeks ago and they didn't have my order and no explaination to why it was cancelled. Today I chose to try again as I had a free entree. I ordered and ordered for curbside because it takes me a while to get out of the car due to a injury. I called for curbside and the rude gentleman said they don't do curbside and I would have to walk in. I told him that I could not get out of the car and he said well you're gonna have to wait a while. It took approximately five minutes to get my curbside order and he was very rude when he brought it to me. I have attached a picture that says on the email that they will gladly bring it out as well as when I ordered the pop-up said they will gladly bring it out to me. This is bad for your business. The last time I had an issue with the store, the corporate office was informed but no call back when I tried to get in contact with them. This establishment has gone downhill from when they first open years ago and they should be ashamed of themselves. I also don't like coming in to the store because it is always dirty and there's always random people in there. But this is the only one close to my work to get lunch. read more

While I am not big on Asian food, my wife loves it, so I will go occasionally. And as odd as this sounds, the 5 star review comes after they messed up my order. My wife ordered the shrimp pad Thai and I ordered the crispy honey chicken. I got all the way home to find out they gave me honey shrimp and I do not eat seafood at all. Well, I come back and they took care of the issue with no problems and both my wife and I use mobility scooters and they are always very accommodating to us. So, service is not an issue here. Ok so I was in the mood for some Chinese and headed to the closest Chinese spot, however the place was sit down and was a tad bit pricey for me (although the food smelled great) so I go to Pick Up Stix which I thought would be normal Chinese takeout. However when I go in I notice a couple of red flags. No chinese people in sight and not a soul except the people working there. So I thought 'eh I'm already here might as well order'. The customer service was whatever it looked like they did not want to be there themselves. I noticed the prices and I thought "Damn why so expensive?". I ordered an orange chicken entree and waited for about 5 minutes. As I was waiting I was looking at the reviews of this place and immediately my countenance fell. It was not looking good. I finally got my food and got the hell out of there. I went into my car and immediately started cursing when examining the food. NO CHOW MEIN. I should have paid more attention to the menu to be fair but seriously no chow mein and this was nearly 13$ by the way. So I drive back home extremely disappointed and furious and I took the first bite of my orange chicken and wouldn't you know it's MID, didn't help that the rice was just regular bland white rice. The meal tasted like it was made with hatred. Thank God for that beatbox earlier because being buzzed was the only way I could have finished this Godforsaken meal devoid of all authenticity and love. Never come to this place. It's food places like these that are the reason for the death of authenticity for food in America. Never come here I beg you. read more
