While I like the toys part of the store. some are which is priced fair. The rest is eek! pricey. $24 for a jacket? not even a designer brand or anything like that. First impression, the security guard needs to calm down it's never that serious, first for a thrift store for me. Nothing really stood out differently with this thrift shop. It's fairly large. Yet another thrift store organized by color, really why?? I just can't look through 500 pairs of jeans... yeah no thank you. Prices were meh on the clothing, really wasn't that impressed, 24 bucks for name brand jeans... it's been worn, don't play me. Household items they seemed pretty decent and reasonable in price. I need it help searching for a designer bag that I had seen a day before on the back counter and the lady's didn't help me at all I ask 3 different ladies and all they told if you don't see it then its been sold but they didn't try searching for it. No dressing room. No can't do for me. I went all that way to visit the store because I read the reviews saying it was huge. I picked out 5 or 6 tops and found out afterwards that I could not try them on. I don't buy clothes if I cannot try them on, especially knowing they are not returnable. First time visit and i was not impressed. The prices are too high for a thrift store...especially when they are selling damaged goods. The employees are dumb as rocks, the customers are ghetto and they do not accept debit or credit cards. It is a cash only operation. This needle in the hay stack thrift store has yet to fail me. I always find something here. It's very organized, clean, and has a wide variety of products. Yes, there are several designer finds if you take the time to browse. I found it randomly and have been coming back for more. Definitely better than Salvation Army, Goodwill, and I would even stretch it and say better than Out of The Closet in LA. Some of my top buys so far: Yves Saint Laurent men's dress shirt, Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation Album (unscratched), The Hulk & Batman t-shirts, Wilson's Leather jacket, countless classic VHS tapes, and much more! A lot of their furniture is out front. I went home to get cash, and dragged my husband from home to see the item i wanted, but when I came back at 3:00pm, the furniture was packed up on a truck. They pack it up every day around 2:00-2:30. There is no sign stating that.They're open until 9:00 pm, so that makes NO sense. I was pretty annoyed. read more

I went to this store today. Got there at 9am and it was wide open, so clean and organized. I recently moved here from Minnesota and regularly shopped Goodwill there. The Goodwill stores that I have been into here don't come close to the standards up there. This Thrift Store outshines any of the ones I have been to so far. I will go back-often! This is my go to spot for just about everything! Awesome large clothes selection for men, women, and kids. Lots of shoes, bags, scarves, bedding, curtains, frames, pots, pans, dishes and so much more. This store is huge and it still gets crowded with people on 50% off days on Wednesdays and Saturdays. But it's only for seniors age 55+ on Wednesdays so don't forget to bring your of age relative or friend if this discount requirement doesn't apply for you! read more

Clean, organized, HUGE! Been here twice, once on Saturday & once during the week. Both times there were staff members constantly circling the store, keeping things neat & in order. There is a good mix of items here and I've been able to come here with both a general sense of what I'm looking for & no idea at all, and both times I left satisfied with my purchases. I am able to get a TON of stuff that I can easily work into my wardrobe and the cost per item rarely exceeds $2. I've only searched through the purses, women's clothing, belts, and scarves but have seen a good variety of items for the home that may be worth checking out. This place is HUGE! Tons of items to peruse and it's rare to leave without some little treasure. When you enter - look up and to your left at the digital sign - it will tell you the discounts for the day which are usually according to tag color. I get a little overwhelmed in their clothing departments due to large volume of clothes compressed together - yet like I said, I always score and typically leave with something that I'm super happy about. Prices keep getting higher and workers keep getting worse. They also have a rule where if it doesn't have a price tag you can't buy it. If you find something missing a tag don't bother asking because they'll just say you can't buy it and take it from you unlike goodwill who will price it right there and then for you. I also made the mistake of grabbing multiple sweaters from my cart at the same time when I was paying and when the cashier (Joceline) was separating them to see the prices and remove hangers, the price tag fell off of one of them so she threw it behind her and told me I couldn't buy it anymore even though it happened right there and she saw. After I paid for the rest of the stuff she got my change and placed it next to her register and walked away. I had to reach over the counter to get it (wtf) it probably looked like I was trying to steal something from the counter. I used to love this store because it was so big but lately the workers will block the aisles with their carts and just leave them there. Kind of awkward having to navigate the aisles when they do that and there are several people trying to look. Overall I'd recommend trying the goodwills over this place, at least they take cards not just cash like this store. read more

For me, this is the best Thrift Store I've found ..... anywhere. I've shopped here for more than a decade. Its big and has a large selection of items. Over the years, I've found many deals here for resale. I'm surprised to read so many negative remarks about the workers. They have all been nice to me. One criticism about the store is that the prices have increased faster than inflation and it's harder and harder to find items you can make money on. My second criticism is that, unlike the Goodwill, they charge sales tax on used merchandise where sales tax was originally paid. However, it's still an adventure and lots to find for personal use. This thrift store is pretty amazing. It is PACKED with clothes. Black pants galore. Any clothing item you need will probably be here. I found a pie of new dark red jeans that were an amazing fit and a halter top I've been looking for for ages. Very clean. My ring up would have been 14 dollars, ended up being 9. How? I don't know. Sales are good. CON No dressing room! You have to basically try on the clothes over yours in the mirror they have, everyone does it. read more

5 stars for community thrift! ok so i make a long trip to covina at least once month just to come here im committed. but yeah i've found so so many good items here omg. oh and they have great shoes!!! everyone thinks i spend a ton of money on "vintage" shoes but when i tell them the prices they are shocked. i even sold a couple of pairs to a few friends. my sis found a yashika 35mm camera here and a really nice wooden aisle. they have a bunch of old vynols and books. this really is my favorite thrift store even tho they have gone up on there prices and it gets a little packed on saturdays. read more

My go to thrift store I always walk out with something if you look PATIENTLY you will find and I say patiently because it can get so crowded where your literally shoulder to shoulder with someone on the same rack. ONE the worst shopping experiences in my life time. First and last time i will ever come again. Customer service Cashiers are the worst as well as management EXTREMELY RUDE TO THE POINT THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE SCUM . Plus none of them wear any type of name tags to file a complaint, very unprofessional. Everything is over priced for being a second hand store. Also this place staples on price tags on everthing so if you try on any clothing and tag falls off they wont sell it you. There is no fitting rooms for customers at all!!! Its cash only! I love this thrift store! I've been coming here for years and 9.9 times out of 10 I walk away with more than what I was looking for. I bought a changing table for my son for 4 dollars! The were having a 50% off sale on their furniture and I've seen them do this often. Yes the only accept cash, no there aren't dressing rooms and YES it smells funny. Like most people I love a good bargain. I had heard about this store but had never been. OMG! It is a large store. 10 registers. Plan to be there a minimum of 2 hours. I found some great designer pieces and purses dirt cheap. Parking is tough but I got lucky and found a spot. Also ..bring cash they dont take debit or credit. All in all my experience was great. I came yesterday 8/31/16 just an a whim, I found a toy for my nephew and a trash can. There is so much to look at. Everyone that works here is so busy and were really working hard and friendly. I've been in several thrift stores where you don't see any employee to ask a question or get help, this impressed me. It nice to shop somewhere and feel comfortable with the staff.
