Amazing wagu burger + a bottle of Hey Ginger.

Second time dining at Pico in Los Alamos, and it delivered again! Great food, a beautiful setting, and an amazing selection of local wines. Definitely a must when you're in wine country!

Food, service and cocktails were great. We walked in at 8pm on Saturday and were instantly accommodated at the bar. We ordered something from their ever-changing menu - rabbit tostada maybe? Just go check it out, this place has the vibes, bar service, and tasty food.

This was my second dining experience at Pico. They were both 2 of best dinners I have ever had. Ambiance, service, food, drinks..ect. Top notch! Already looking forward to our next meal here. We traveled 4.5 hrs and would do it again next week.

We came here to wait for a reservation next door. They have a very large selection of wines and since we couldn't decide, we end up doing their recommend flight along with some snacks. We had a ceviche and their daily special with a flaky white fish as a snack. Everything was good and highly recommend if you want to sit and chat with friends.

By far, the best restaurant in Los Alamos. The menu changes and is always consistently good. The chef and owner is so creative and a craft at her work. Great price point, amazing wine and absolutely delicious food.

We made a last minute stop in Los Alamos. Pico was recommended by the hotel staff (across the street) and we were not steered wrong. Absolutely some of the best food I've had this year. The beet/goat cheese/pistachio salad was one of the best I've ever had. Every selection was perfectly prepared (and uniquely special). We could not be more impressed. Our server, Kristen, was a delight and made suggestions that did not disappoint. To top it off, the setting was spacious and well appointed. Every detail at Pico was considered and we will definitely be back.

Very nice inside. Weekday, no reservation needed imo.

Love the ambiance here and in general the service was good. Was missing bread plates to eat our fancy cornbread but oh well. I personally don't want my soft drink brought to me with the bottle. Basically no refill and I prefer on tap. Seems very specific. We ordered the beet & burrata salad. It was very good. Then had the wedge salad. Also excellent. My wife had the flight of lumin wine and disliked two out of three unfortunately but we liked that it was an option with dinner. She had the prime ribeye steak and while they said they cook it medium rare it was medium at best which was fine. I got the Wagyu burger it was said to come medium rare and I asked for medium. Well unfortunately it showed up borderline well done. It had some decent flavor but was a bit dry sadly. I am also a person who needs his lettuce , tomato and pickle but that's on me. Burger would have been quite good if there was a shred of pink. I was concerned I would get the waffle fries that I have seen in pics. Not a fan. To my joy I received some fresh hand cut fries and they were excellent! Made the burger disappointment ok. Also got the cornbread which was very good. Just give me some bread plates again. If my burger was truly medium it be giving 5 stars. It wasn't so it's gonna be 4. I think they are a 4.3 restaurant. Will return next time in town. Would rather go here than Belle.

Always a favorite place to visit, we planned our anniversary diner and we were nicely surprised by the attention given to us. Dinner and drinks were excellent, and service was great. We came on a weeknight and it was nice and quiet, had a great time.

What an amazing meal! Stumbled in here by chance while driving through and enjoyed every dish -- the Crispy cauliflower, the kabocha salad, fish and chips, cornbread, and homemade ice cream (honey lavender was yummy!) Plus the service was warm and friendly and the overall ambience was cool

Since my last review, the restaurant has definitely stepped it up. I guess they had a momentary downfall. I love going there.

Yup, the Yelp reviews and their website paint an accurate picture. Super chill spot with good wines, friendly service, inviting outdoor area and excellent attention to detail. Our group of 5 all ordered $30 wine tastings where we were not allowed to actually select the wines to taste. When I asked what wines would be included, the server identified several on the menu and unfortunately only half of these ended up being included in the final tasting. As our group began to enjoy our tasting, the staff unexpectedly took our heater away to warm a 2 top table without ever asking our group if we still wanted the heater (we did, it was 50 degrees out). One person in our group brought out a leftover bite of baguette from a previous stop in town and was QUICKLY alerted by the owner with the wag of a finger and note that "they sell food there and she can't bite her own food." The owner waited until my friend put her small bite in her purse before walking away. When checking out, the server told us we'd need to pay via one card only (fine) and proceeded to watch closely as my friend chose her gratuity option (rude). Although we selected a nice 20% tip on the screen prompt, the actual math shook out to a 24% tip without us ever agreeing to it. Short story: - Too expensive - Rude - Performative, white-centric feminism - Not worth visiting when there are so many other great options close by

We live within easy walking distance so we took a nice little walk. As we entered there was music playing on a record player which was great and the shop was set up nice and neat with a welcoming bar or tables to take a seat. We were instantly greeted by Mark and asked what brought us in today. We let him know we wanted to do a tasting and he let us know that his selection today was from Thatcher. There was a rose and a few red blends and a Syrah. All very tasty. Mark was educated and well informed in the blender and his styles and profiles as well as the offerings and gave us notes with each pour and answered any questions. Wine isn't all available there was beers on tap as well as some non-alcohol options. We ordered a small charcuterie plate which for the price at a small wine bar was good and above what I expected. We through conversations with Mark mentioned we wanted to have our ballroom dance instructor at Allure Ballroom to do a wine and dance social cause the businesses are so close and Mark said oh I could easily host it here and move some tables we've done events before. So... That being said stay tuned I have Marks card and will be talking to Yvette at Allure Ballroom to see if we can arrange a local ball room and wine social. The music played was great easy light classic rock and the clientele was friendly and good to converse with as we shared a few drinks and snacks. This will definitely be a normal outing for us and hopefully we can get a great local old Orcutt business co-op event going. If you haven't stopped in and seen Mark Steller who lives up to his name. Do it sooner than later. Great business and great wines and beer... Oh they even had a cider on tap.
