As an expert in consuming baked goods (but with no skill in actually creating them), I am happy to try all the different bakeries and report back on my experiences. Tulie Bakery is a solid option in the 9th & 9th area-especially if you're in the market for a croissant. Those suckers are ginormous! Service is friendly and the treats are yummy. Ambience is a little lacking-it's kind of sterile and pretty small. But they are limited in space, so it's understandable. There are two large tables that end up being a little awkward to sit at with different groups. But those croissants though.

Charming little bakery nestled in a neighborhood near our vacation rental. So glad we chose to stop by for a latte & a savory scone. From the drinks to the pastries, cakes, cookies & granola, they pay attention to detail. Just look at the artistry on my latte! After breakfast we stepped back up to the counter to get tea breads, bars, cookies & croissants to go. I know the family are going to love them.

Could not be a bigger fan of Tulie. I know it's going to be a great day when I treat myself to a garlic onion chèvre toast and an iced americano. They use the most amazing sourdough from Table X and it's the star of the show for me. Let's not skim past their phenomenal desserts and pastries though. The olive oil cake is out of this world! Make sure to get there early to get a slice of it.

The croissants here are delicious! So flakey and buttery. I was hoping to try their olive oil cake that I've heard so much about but, unfortunately, they were sold out when I went. I'll have to come back to try their other pastries!

I arrived in close to closing and there were a lot of pastries that were out, which is to be expected. Definitely recommend coming in the morning to get the best selection! There is indoor seating if you'd like to sit and enjoy your treats as well as a menu of prepared foods if you're looking for something more substantial. I got a slice of the olive oil brown butter cake as well as the honey lavender loaf. Definitely pricey for the size but i will say both were fantastic and worth the splurge.

I ordered the 9 inch triple layer German chocolate cake for my birthday party! It was scrumptious! The only issue was the miscommunication over the phone. I thought I was ordering a cake to feed 15 people, but there were at least 15 servings left over after the party! Great bang for your buck!

We loved this place so much that we stopped by twice. Great coffee, pastries and quiches. I recommend the sugar cookie for kids, scone, and the veggie quiche. I would ask them to warm up the quiche. They had an amazing seasonal fruit hand pie which looks like a pop tart covered in sugar and it was super yum! The seating inside is limited but they did set up a few tables outside which is nice if you have toddlers. Hopefully we will be back to try some cake!

Cute cafe in a cute little neighborhood. Olive oil cake and pumpkin bread were amazing. I need to go back and try more things.

A coworker said this place is a famous bakery in the SLC area so we made a point to check it out. We bought some pastries for our clients and it was well received. I bought a cookie and an iced tea for my own afternoon treat. It was phenomenal. The browned butter in my cookie was a game changer. The next time I'm in town, I will definitely have to stop by again. Ps the staff was awesome and very helpful. Limited seating during peak hours, but very clean and tidy.

Cute coffee shop! I got the chai latte which was perfectly spiced. And shared a sesame croissant, seasonal vegetable croissant (tomato and basil), and quiche with bacon with some friends. My favorite was the sesame croissant which was more like a paste on the inside and had a hint of sweetness. Vegetable croissant had this layer of cheese at the top which made it so delicious too. Highly recommend!

Lavender London Fog, breakfast croissant, avocado toast with soft boiled egg. All so delish!

Tulie is a long time favorite of my family, so many delicious treats to be had, and always prepared with such consistent high quality ingredients and methods. The true French bakery of SLC! The staff is so friendly and the space feels comfortable and inviting. Truly, we are so lucky to have two locations in the city! Rock on Tulie!!!

Busy on a Saturday morning, but worth the wait. Stylish location with some indoor and outdoor seating. Options for vegetarians. The local garlic chevre toast blew me away!

The olive cake with brown butter frosting is one of, if not the best cake I've ever had.

This place has quickly become a staple every time I am in SLC and with a seasonal rotating menu, plus all the normal coffee shop classics, there's something for everyone. Matcha is great, chai is solid, coffee is great and they even have a decent selection of other teas. Don't even get me started on the assortment of breakfast foods and pastries (wonderful)! Their sourdough toast is a must and boasts an array of fresh toppings to choose from that anyone can find something they'll like. Price is average. Service is quick and friendly. Presentation is nice-enough (nothing to gawk at). There are minimal outlets but lots of seating indoor and outdoor, but there is seemingly always a line so that must mean the locals love it too. I'd come early! Oh! They also have a board full of community events and a local artist sticker machine which makes me excited every time I'm in town. For this visit, I got an iced oat banana matcha and a sourdough slice w ricotta and seasonal berries. The matcha was buttery and smooth, well mixed, and lightly sweet. You can definitely taste the banana but it is minimal, which I like. The toast came warm and soft and crispy in all the right places. Blackberries and blueberries were juicy and complimented the cheese/bread nicely. The honey added the softest sweetness, tying it all together.

We ordered a few drinks to go on a Sunday before hitting up the NHM. I ordered an ube latte and their juice drink special (sparkling water, local orange juice and mango syrup) for our daughter while my husband ordered a cortado. I wasn't too impressed by the ube latte. I must have misread what was in the drink because I was drinking crumbled ube cookies and the drink was just a little too sweet for me. My husband thought his cortado was more of cappuccino because of how much milk was in it. I thought the juice special was good and my daughter enjoyed it. We'll swing by again, especially for those delicious looking pastries!
