They cook it just right. My husband had the shrimp scampi pizza and loved the sauce and flavor. That's one neat thing about the place, menu selection. They have so many unique combos. They also offer a gluten free crust option which is nice. Your pizza really is ready in 5 mins or less which is nice after the long wait to order. Pretty good experience. The line moves quick and ordering is easy. I got the high five on a pan crust. Tasted fine and the whole meal for two was under twenty dollars. Update: I'm not sure how you can quick cook a pizzazz and melt the cheese without hearing the top layer of ingredients. Mine had a few room temp bits and in some places was hot all the way thru. This place is great! It's like the subway of pizzas due to you being able to go along a line & build your own. They have combos for only $3 extra which is such a deal. I got the breadsticks combo which came with a pizza, breadsticks (I got cheesesticks), & a drink foto $10.99. My boyfriend got the dessert combo which came with a pizza, dessert & drink. I ordered a thin crust pizza with alfredo sauce as the base, monzerella cheese, mushrooms, red onion, chicken, basil, basil pesto drizzle and feta cheese. It was AMAZING. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. The cheese sticks were good as well! The marinara tasted so fresh & really added to them. My boyfriend got the traditional Italian crust, marinara, monzerella cheese, sausage, pepperoni, & bacon on his pizza. The price is reasonable and they don't charge extra no matter how many toppings. The mozzarella cheese is still great as are any other toppings you use. Don't skip dessert. Share with a friend! Still don't like the Coke machine. All flavors suffer, especially the Coke, ironically. Staff are still friendly. Went right at beginning of supper rush. The place was not clean with food on the floor and many tables not cleared. Great single serving pie joint. Custom topping and nice finishing touches if desired. I got the salad combo which included pizza and salad and drink. 3 choices of ice tea! I liked the spicy pizza sauce. Well cooked. The choices were overwhelming but now considering other options for next time which seems to be their intention. Initially, they were completely clueless and had no idea about professionalism. However, today's visit was outstanding. It would be a shame if this location does not reopen...a great location and neighbor being next to Chipotle...It is my long held belief that much of Pie Five's misfortune is associated with the decor of the stores - much too dark....A simple solution would be to paint the short black tiled walls an off white and perhaps a red horizontal line would be appropriate..... I've gone in and the "lime" was dirty with food mixed from using dirty gloves or just sloppy labor. This was my first time coming back since they reopened. The food was good, but that's my only praise. Here's how my visit went- my friend and I get there at 8, we aren't greeted (that's probably normal for them). The girl making my pizza had zero sense of urgency. My friend asked for a margherita pizza, the girl wasn't even going to put tomatoes on the pizza until my friend asked her to. The employees had no enthusiasm or customer service. We got our food in a timely manner, but not all of it. There was a small line waiting to order when I went to see why we hadn't gotten our dessert yet, and two of the employees shrugged about the line and said the other girls got it. Around 8:30 they're already moving tables and putting chairs up. So we ask what time they close, which was 10 o'clock. They're sweeping around us. 9:00- finally see what I'm assuming is the manager. He's mopping around us. We're still catching up around about 9:30 and they have just about all the chairs put up that they can, but unfortunately we and another customer were in the way. We decide to go and the manager couldn't even wait for us to walk away from the table before he was pulling the chairs out, hitting my friends foot. We throw our trash away and there's still the one customer left. The employees crank the music obnoxiously loud (we get it, we're leaving). As a previous manager of a restaurant, I have a few suggestions: Each customer having a positive experience eating at your establishment should be a priority regardless of the time of day. If you continually wipe down surfaces and spot sweep throughout the day, you won't have to start your closing duties 2 hours before you're closed. Moving tables and chairs while there's still customers dining is tacky. And if you must absolutely mop the entire restaurant while still open, don't forget to put up a caution wet floor sign- hello, liability? Great food though, if you'll look past the inconsiderations. read more

I walked into the establishment to pick up my order and was completely offended by the worker who said to me "I assume that you are here for Door Dash." As an African American person this was completely racially motivated as he did not make the same comment to the white woman who came in after me. I will not be returning to this establishment. What I like best about this place is the individuality of each pizza - for my household of supreme vs cheese, regular crust vs thin, beef vs chicken vs pepperoni, this place is very much a kind of "to each their own" place and that's GREAT for us. My kiddos were able to select their favorite toppings for their individual kid pizzas and actually ate almost their entire pizzas (which isn't THAT great in size difference from a regular-size pizza). All in all, I'd say the taste was good for everybody. I had the Tuscan Chicken - what you'd expect - and my husband had the Five Star which he really liked. To me, the big thing for pizza is the sauce, and their traditional red sauce has a very good flavor - not sweet, not too tomato-y! I'm eager to try their whole-grain crust next time (they also offer gluten-free crust)! read more
