The little bit of gatekeeper in me resists writing this review but the pizza lover I am insists the world knows that Pie For The People is serving possibly the best pizza on the west coast. This hole-in-the-wall place is easily overlooked as it is in the corner of a convenience store. However, one taste of one of their delicious pies and you will not forget it. The undercarriage has this perfect crispness to it with just the right amount of chew. The toppings range from the usual to more creative choices that all end up bringing serious deliciousness. They have calzones and salads too that I have yet to try. They serve slices as well that I have stopped in for many times while crossing Snoqualmie pass. The service is as consistent as the food. In reluctant to write this review because I don't want this place to get so slammed I can't get a slice haha but here we go. This pizza is FIRE. Like legit, around the world, probably the best slices I've had, at least in my top three. Service is solid, it's a small spot shared with a mini mart so not much to say for the ambiance but I usually grab it to go. Pie for the People may be tucked away in the corner of a supermarket in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn't mean it can't be an absolute star of a restaurant! A true hidden gem. Being near the Summit at Snoqualmie, I came here with friends while looking for a better alternative to the food at the Ski Lodge (yuck!) I originally was a bit skeptical since wasn't even it's own standalone restaurant, but I'm glad i tried it out! There was a small parking lot out front, and they had both indoor and outdoor tables to sit and eat at. The staff were also very helpful and patient! Now... onto the star of the show, the pizza. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and was also great value (~15$ per person and we were very full!) The crust was crisp and flavorful, and the pizza was super tasty overall. Overall I will most definitely be coming back here every time I'm in Snoqualmie looking for food... I might even consider driving a bit to come here! read more

As a SOBO PCT hiker from San Diego, trail name Smartacus, I've learned to keep my expectations low when it comes to town food. But this place? Total game changer. I tried a fresh-out-of-the-oven slice of pure specialness. I'm talking whole roasted garlic cloves, pepperoni, and other bits of savory greatness I honestly couldn't identify because I scarfed it down too fast to take notes. It was hot, melty, bold, and exactly what my trail-wrecked soul needed. (Update: the slice was called the Bonanza!) Also, big shoutout for the hot sauce collection. That's how you know a place is serious about flavor and spice. I felt seen. Whether you're a hiker, a traveler, or just someone who appreciates pizza that slaps, stop by and treat yourself. To be honest, walking in wasn't the best impression. This place is not clean. We tried this place on a whim. It is located just off the highway and near ski lodges. It is attached to a mini-mart off to the left when you enter. You can tell the place gets a lot of traffic. The food was ok. Prices are average. The pizza had to be reheated in the oven but was hot when served. There is a designated place to sit and eat but the tables and chairs are very dirty. I like trying new places but we won't be back. If you are in the area staying in town to ski especially when there is heavy snow this place would be one of the few places in walking distance to grab food. read more

I ordered the gluten free caprese pizza. The crust was inedible and looked unappetizing. It had the color and thickness of a gingerbread cookie. With so many great options for a gluten free crust available, Pie for the people needs to look for a better gluten free crust option. I would suggest a cauliflower crust. Looking for a good New York style pizza? This is the place to go! Pricing is amazing pizzas are huge! Crust as made to perfection, my fiancé and I do not like a thick crust. A hidden Gem! The best after a day on the mountain. Don't be thrown off by the barely surviving convenience store that it's in or the ghetto seating area because the pizza is Amazing. My boyfriend showed me this place after snowboarding at the Summit, and this is easily one of my favorite pizza places now too. It's also attached to a small grocery store so it's a one-stop-shop for all snack needs after a run on the mountain. They offer fat single slices for $5 and $6 for specialty pizzas. Usually, my boyfriend and I get different pizza slices to share and I get full off of 1. I highly recommend -Chip -Wookie Honestly, anything on the menu. I haven't tried them all, but I trust they are delicious. We ordered a 21" and it only took about 20 minutes. They have a whole bar full of sauces and seasonings for you to add on your way out. With such an odd location like the summit in a grocery store, it's the oddest place to get that NYC pizza crust in the state. gooey and it folds perfectly in 1/2 (only people who have had real NYC pizza will understand) variety of very interesting topping.. one with pepperoni gorgonzola and pineapple (the wookie?) was pretty solid, and I think pineapple on pizza is an abhorrent.. Best to eat it there vs. take out. really good after a hike or skiing trip. read more

High quality and reasonably priced! I got a greek salad. It cost $5 for a small, but I was surprised how much you get for the price. We also ordered a 24" Go Westo pie which was really nicely done in regards to flavor. It would be great if they'd offer some vegan options on the menu but you can always ask them to configure it however you want and make it vegan :) Another review mentioned it being NYC pizza crust - it's about as close to that as you can get out here I'd agree, but it still falls slightly short as the texture isn't mimicked exactly (just another east coast pizza snob over here). First time here and not impressed. We came earlier during the day to the grocery side and inquired about closing time. They said 8 pm and it's best to call in order ahead of time-but not 10 min before closing. We called to order at 6 pm and was informed they were out of pizza dough! We were only able to buy whatever they already had made. Luckily we made it in time before they ran out but there were people behind us who were shocked that they couldn't order any pizza 2 hours before closing. Pizza was dry, lacked cheesiness and not that tasty. Barely had any tomato sauce and the crust was so hard you could choke on it. Good pizza requires a really high quality crust, right, and this place does *not* have that. And so, the pizza is 2 of 5 stars. The crust reminds of frozen. Like it once lived in a freezer. The red sauce is serviceable, the toppings are descent. Overall the two pizzas we ordered were underbaked. It is my firm belief that all the people raving about the pizza at Pie for the People were really, really hungry after skiing or hiking or cycling. As a child I have a memory of a long day of skiing and being so happy with a can of Campbell's soup. Doesn't mean the soup was good. Nothing to write home about because a lot of the flavors overlap, but the David bowey (not sure if it's the right name but it has pineapple and peppers) was fantastic. For a pizza place at the pass, I wasn't expecting much and pie for the people delivered well beyond reasonable expectations for the city. We got a caprese and a chip and were really pleased. First of all, we got 16 inch pies but they must be measuring by the radius and not the diameter because the smaller pies were huge. Crust is doughy but enjoyable. Really enjoyed the balsamic drizzle on the caprese. Will be back but will only order one pie next time. read more

It is attached inside a small grocery/ convenience store with a sign at the counter that says it is a separate business. It took us a little while to find. There are several buildings around that standout more prominently than they do, that serve pizza as well. But we were glad we found the right place. I usually go for meat options on my pizza but the combinations on their pizzas were delightful. My wife is a vegetarian and was overjoyed. I forgot which names we chose but I think it was the caprese that we both came back for again and again. read more

Grabbed pizza for take-out one night, while staying down the road at an airbnb and was pleasantly surprised by the pizza. I didn't read any of the reviews and assumed it would be pre-made pizza crusts, but I do think that these were really hand-tossed crusts. I didn't really believe the 21" pizza sizing on the menu pictures, but that seems pretty accurate, as they are bigger than the normal 18" "large" pizzas we get at home. We got a plain pizza (i.e. cheese pizza) and pepperoni pizza. Both were good and were comparable to our hometown pizza joint back outside of Philadelphia. We also got a ceasar salad, which was fresh and pretty tasty. Service was good, as I just stopped in and picked up a pizza. It is a little weird having the pizza place inside a convenience store, but I guess that's what you get when you're in a small town as the base of a ski mountain. :) All-in-all, I would get take-out from this place again. read more

Expected more from reviews. Quick slice? Sure. Catering? No way (go next door to Red Mountain) Sure, the size of the slice was double the usual size, the price very reasonable, and the flavor pretty good too. The crust was also probably good several hours earlier (I made a 4:30 PM stop and am guessing this pizza was leftover from lunch)-but even that is understandable. What then is my issue one might ask? The owner himself served me (I knew this as I had checked out the Biz FB page ahead of time). MY ISSUE IS: It would be absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to show less interest in a customer. I actually felt like a bother although no one else was in the store at the time and the owner was just sitting there when I walked up. I gave him a cheery "hello, how are you today?" And got zippo, nada, nothin' but monosyllabic essential verbal exchange and ZERO eye contact. Geez-did someone just get some awful news and I walked into the middle of it? I would think that was the case and let it go without writing this review....BUT....I'd actually called several days prior (after checking out the FB page) and pretty much got a similar brush off by a woman who answered the phone. This is why I decided to stop in on my way over the pass-to evaluate the situation in person. Key to know is, the reason I had checked out the Biz FB page, called them up and ultimately stopped in is that I am planning a party at the Pass and wanted to order a bunch of pizzas. REMEMBERING THAT RED MOUNTAIN COFFEE RIGHT NEXT DOOR HAS EXCELLENT PIZZA TOO (and espresso!) I stopped in to say hi.
