Lunch special goes until 3pm and overlaps with the happy hour pricing. I got a frost, which was a little too sweet, but nice and cold (and only $7 for HH). I couldn't even finish my pizza, and minor grip was that the toppings was missing for almost half of my pizza, but nothing I couldn't fix myself. We came here on a Tuesday night and were able to walk in and immediately get sat. The build out is super cool and the place has a great vibe. Our waitress was amazing, super attentive. We got the Garlic Bread Puffs and they were phenomenal. Easily one of the best things I've eaten. My boyfriend got the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni, which he enjoyed but not a personal favorite of mine because I don't prefer sausage in it. I got the Margarita Pizza and thought it was delicious. Stopped in here for a quick bite and some drinks and we were glad we did! We came in an hour before closing time and still received great service. We ordered 2 drinks and a pepperoni and jalapeno pizza! It was delish! I really liked the garlic knots. We were sold on the whipped butter, which I would let you know right now is underwhelming although for me as someone who loves cooking, it does have potential. But the asiago flavor is not there. However, back to the garlic knots they were so good. I ended up taking some home where I would later eat them with some raspberry jam down the middle spectacular. Ate here mid week and no wait. We had some pizza, pasta and dessert. Everything was tasty. But the dessert was my favorite part. See picture and you'll see why. Pizza and pasta are staples and they were cooked well and nice presentation. Our service was friendly and we had some good conversation. The only downer we experienced was we were sat at a table right next to a family with multiple small children and let me say the parents didn't have volume control or care give to their kids running around the table. Brunch Goals at Pie Tap! I've always loved Pie Tap for lunch and, of course, their incredible espresso martinis (seriously, one of the best I've had!). But I just found out they serve brunch, and wow--where has this been all my life? I spotted it on social media and had to try it ASAP! When we got there, I realized I'd accidentally made a reservation for the wrong location. Oops! But no worries--the host took care of it and seated us right away. The dining space was bright, inviting, and offered a straight view into the kitchen so you could watch the chefs in action. Our table was spacious enough for all the drinks and plates we ordered, which, let's be honest, were a lot! I couldn't resist trying two drinks (the more, the merrier, right?). I had my go-to espresso martini and a blackberry mimosa--both were amazing. My partner ordered a white mocha with vodka, which tasted so good we had to remind ourselves it wasn't just a regular coffee shop drink! For food, we started with the cinnamon rolls, and trust me, I was this close to licking the paper because the glaze was that good. Then came the French toast, perfectly decadent, plus eggs and bacon that could rival any homemade breakfast. I really loved how spacious and decorated the environment was. They had ample seating and parking to handle in rush they may come to face. The staff was super friendly and helpful as it was our first time here. It is on the pricier side but that is expected from a place like this compared to your fast-food chain which in today's time is matching but not delivering on the dining experience. I will add there will be a wait on getting your pizza due to the ovens so an appetizer is good to have. For an appetizer we chose the Knots $10.00 Garlic, parmesan, with a side provolone Asiago whip. I was happy they provided a sample of the fondue cheese as well, because I wasn't so much a fand of the asiago whip. It was more on the sweet side and close to what regular whip cream tasted like. This however was not the worst part of the appetizer. If you look closely at the menu all of the bread is listed but not for the knots, you should have seen my face of disappointment when I took my first bite and notice it was sourdough bread. If noted, I would not have ordered this and went for the fondue instead. We could barely finish a roll on this dish. We chose half and half pizza. $19 Option 1: Prosciutto Pie: Prosciutto di parma, medjool dates, pistacchio, arugula, house ricotta, parmesan, balsamic. Surprisingly option one had a good savory and sweet balance, if you like an elevated pizza flavor this is the way to go. Option 2: Salami Pie: Calabrese salami, house fennel sausage, biellese pepperoni, bacon, Calabrian peppers, organic tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese. We wanted a classic to really see how good the pizza can be here. The dough is almost thin and light which we love, the sauce was so good, wish there was a little more cheese but for meat lover option it is about the meat. There was a great combo on the selection for this half, do remember it can be little greasier but overall good pizza. November 2024- First time dining here for lunch on a recent trip to the Dallas area. We had five different pizzas for a party of 15 and they were all excellent! Everyone in the party enjoyed them and also enjoyed a couple of salads that we ordered. The decor is very industrial. It's open with both regular height tables that seat four people and long high top tables that seat 10-12. There is also an outdoor patio option as well. Nice mocktails for my daughters who are connoisseurs. The service was great both visits, and Coop is a great server. Tip: the bread appetizers are just pizza crust in form of a roll. Stopped here for brunch on a weekend and it was really good. It was a nice amount of food selections and the best part was the $14 mimosa carafe. We came right at the end of brunch so had to order quickly to meet the 3 pm cutoff. We ordered the breakfast sandwich which was a pretty big portion ( egg to sausage ratio was a little off) the sausage patty is pretty large in comparison to the egg but still good overall. The bread that they serve is super fresh and appears to be made in house. We also ordered the smoked salmon board which was really good. The last few pieces of the salmon were a little tough but I think it's mostly bc we got the last batch for the day. OMG I fell in love with a new pizza place. I have driven past this restaurant so many times. I always had it on my list, but never stopped. Well I finally did and the pizza was AMAZING! It was cooked perfectly and the crust was thin and soft. The pepperoni and cheese was so good. I was so happy and full. I'm already thinking about another visit. The Frose drink I got on happy hour. It was ok for me. It was just a little to sweet for my liking. My mother loved it. So I guess it just depends on your taste buds. Service was good and the restaurant was clean and comfy. My friends and I decided to grab dinner together and walked in on a Wednesday night and were seated immediately. We were served by a really outgoing server named Patrick who always took the extra step to take care of us. My friend and I ordered espresso martinis and our other friend was ordering a glass wine and asked for Patrick's opinion. He went out of his way to ask his manager for a sweeter rec & even brought our a sample to our friend! Drinks were absolutely divine. To start, we got the goat cheese fondue and meatballs. Oh my god -- mixing that jam into the fondue is genuinely so divine and one of the best things I've put into my mouth, and I'm not a huge liquid cheese person. That rosemary puff bread they included was literally everything. Of course, we had to get the prosciutto pie. It's just such a perfect mix of savory, tangy, sweet with the balsamic, ricotta, prosciutto, dates, and balsamic. Unique combination of ingredients, but I'm literally obsessed. Great place to have a large gathering. Our group was supposed to be around 75 people, but think we ended up with over 100. I worked w/Josh, the events manager. He was great explaining minimums, and helping to coordinate the menu. He even was available on a Saturday to help out with something last minute. Daniel was the onsite manager. He helped coordinate refilling the serving table with great pizzas, chicken melt sandwiches, salads, charcuterie boards, etc. Everyone loved the food & the restaurant provided take out boxes for leftovers. They had plenty of servers on hand to help with drink orders and clearing used plates. The only reason for the loss of one star is that the servers were apparently not entering drink orders in a timely manner, so our spend was higher than we expected. My gf and I discovered this place somewhat by accident on Friday night. Our plan was to go to another restaurant nearby but after finding out there was a two hour wait, that was a no go so. On our way back to the car we walked by Pie Tap and since you can never go wrong with pizza, we decided to stop in. Since every restaurant within meters seemed to have exorbitant waits, I hopped on Open Table to see if reservation was available. To my surprise it was and I chose a high top for 7:45. We walked in at 7:30 and like every other restaurant, the place was jammed packed; with a few parties already waiting at the hostess stand. It took a good 10 minutes for us to be greeted but when we were, the hostess was very nice. She said they were running about 5 minutes behind but realistically it was more like 20. Around 8, tables slowly started to open up but by that time we were tired of waiting for a table and opted to take a little spot right in front of the kitchen window where you could see all the magic happening. After being seated for about 15 minutes, our waiter Brandon came by. He was friendly and upbeat, asked us had we been there before and took our drink order. I found it cool that they will allow you to sample any beer or wine on tap. Since I couldn't decide between Imagery Pinot Noir or A to Z Pinot Noir, that was perfect. They ended up being out of Imagery so I then sampled Pessimist Blend which was a winner. My gf ordered an Old Fashioned which was also perfect. To start we ordered Honey Garlic Lollipop Chicken. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce wasn't too spice or spicy. My only complaint is that I wish they'd give you more than 5 small party drums for the price. But hey, inflation right? For entrees, I opted for the carbonara and my gf decided to create her own pie. The carbonara was pretty good. Not too eggy or thick. The poached egg was a nice touch. The pizza was fantastic! She ordered pepperoni, sausage, roasted garlic, basil and fresh mozzarella. Amazing crust, sauce and fresh toppings. And it was a special treat to see it being made right in front of us. We will definitely visit Pie Tap again but next time we'll likely try to go for an early lunch or off peak time to avoid the crowd and wait. Overall, a solid experience! read more

The pizza, all one size pie's you can make up your own toppings combo or pick one of the specialty pie with a good selection of thought pairings of ingredients on each one. These aren't your normal garbage pizzas with the same run of the mill toppings. These are the read deal toppings. Once I was told I could do half and half or quarters if I wanted it was on. I had mercy on the pie guy and got a half and half mushroom on one side and prosciutto on the other, each was a headline in the ingredients assembled together for that special combination. There is a large drink menu as well looked like 60 to 80 or more choices. The crust is the perfect consistency, thin on the bottom with a crispy-on-the-outside-soft-on-the-inside edge. It's almost a little bit salty, but in a sea-salt-atop-a-chocolate-chip-cookie way... you know? Like the perfect finishing touch. *chef's kiss* There is a perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Ive been here twice and both times, I've enjoyed the food! I came here Monday evening in honor of 314 day aka Pi day (STL people know the truth). Both times, I've gotten the margarita pizza (really good) and the fondue appetizer (to die for). The drinks are also very good and the service is good. The prices are on the moderate-to-high side, but the portions are large which make it all worth it. I've never been able to eat the entire fondue and pizza in one setting. We brought it up to our server and the manager both showing very wrongful signs of attitude. Please forgive me because I forgot to take a picture of my pizza, but it looked so good when it came out that it slipped my mind and I immediately started devouring it haha. I ordered the prosciutto pizza, and the blend of arugula, prosciutto, pistachio, and balsamic vinegar was absolute perfection.
