He had a great attitude despite being the only one up front. We tried to get our kids to speak up for themselves as far as what they wanted on there pizzas, I really appreciated that the worker noticing this and taking time to address the kids! Thank you! He's was friendly and helpful. The pizza wasn't the best and I know it's on me for picking my own toppings, but I enjoy the pizza more at similar places. I was waiting for an event to begin nearby last week so I popped into Pieology for a quick dinner while I waited. First of all the gentlemen that helped me make my pizza was fantastic. I truly wish I had caught his name so I could give him the shout out he deserves. He was very friendly, offered suggestions, helped me get acclimated to the menu quickly so I could put my pizza together. I have been to places like this such as Blaze but this was my first visit and they have some options other places don't so I needed a moment. Price is pretty much the same as you'll pay at other build your own locations. The toppings were fantastic and the cook on the pizza was better than any other place I've been. The crust was super crispy but not overcooked at all, it was a delicious pizza that I enjoyed every bite of. I know I'll be stopping in again when I'm in the area, I may even got a bit out of my way to go back to Pieology the next time I'm craving a personal build your own pizza. This place needs a serious revamp. One of the taller men helping us was trying his hardest with all the customers but couldn't keep up because his coworker would barely do anything it seemed. Love, Love, LOVE this pizza.... Been here many times, initially because it's just down the street from my house, but I come back again and again because the food is simply the BEST!!! I was SO sad when they closed around Covid time, but was ecstatic when they reopened... Ok to the fooooood...I love the fact that they make it exactly like I want!! Not how they want! They keep adding the toppings I want and extra if needed! Never seem upset or troubled that they are adding toooo much to the pizza. Always under manned/womanned... yet always on point. They have been short staff ever since last year. They pay attention to your words listen to the details and work like machines yet people still fail to be courteous and tip people dealing with their food. I am so glad this place is still here. They do good work and if you ask them to change gloves they don't have an issue. It's hard to say what I got other than the pictures but they were good and cooked perfectly. They even have vegan Daiya cheese and vegan sausage and meatballs, all perfect for the family vegetarian.. anyway I'll take Pieology OVER the others and I actually do like the others. Went in tonight, and I guess I came after a rush and the lady in the blue shirt let me know she would be right with me. It was my first time here and she had helped me figure out what to get on my pizza and calzone. With the calzone you can only get 5 topings, which kinda suck but after it was folded it looked amazing. My pizza was just a plain pepperoni which is good for a classic pizza. While figuring out what to order the lady with the blue shirt asked me how my day was and had a nice conversation while also suggesting what to get. The crust on the calzone looked amazing and crispy and the pizza had a good crunch and texture. I definitely will be back again!!! read more

I wish all pizzas has this cheese. Toppings, just ok. I did not see hot sauces anywhere to put on the pizzas. I like to have this option. Could not get a beer to share on a Sunday afternoon as there was no one on site over 21 to serve? What? That is not good business sense. Couple hundred calories saved, I guess and water for the win! Discover the possibilities!! When it comes to these create your own pizza places, I can get quite confused as to what I want. Pieology is no exception. I was kind of hoping that there would be a long line so I could decide what I wanted, but when I walked in there was no waiting time. Basically, it is a 5 step process when it comes to having them create your pizza. First, you tell what type of crust you want. I went with their standard thin crust. For a couple bucks more, they offer deep dish, cauliflower, gluten free, and others. Second part is to pick which one of the seven sauces you want. After some thought, I went with their Alfredo sauce. Third step is to pick your cheese or cheeses. I chose three of them for my creation. Fourth step is to choose your meats. I got pepperoni, canadian bacon, and chicken for mine. Lastly, pick your toppings of which I chose plenty that they loaded onto my pizza. They then stick the pizza into their oven. You can see everything because they have an open kitchen which is very cool. The restaurant was very very clean when I visited this past weekend. Most importantly, where the kitchen area where all the ingredients and toppings bar is was not messy at all. Took less than 10 minutes before my pizza was ready. They brought it to my table, and I prayed I had created something I would like. Happily, my customized pizza creation tasted fantastic!! Not a single crumb was left by the time I was finished. I thought I would have leftovers, but it tasted so good that I ate it all at their restaurant. I would give them 5 stars, but I am not quite over my disappointment from my first visit last year. So what happened last year? I received a coupon in the mail, and I brought it in a day late. The staff would not honor my coupon because of that. Yeah, it was my fault. Second time here (they take too long for my liking). Hubs was in the mood a week ago and convinced me to go today. We get there to one woman ordering toppings and a party of three waiting to order. The press went out, so all the crusts were being made by hand. This was NOT the issue with this trip. We were patient, in no rush, and luckily I had a cookie walking out my door. The gentleman at the beginning was great. Super nice, patient, helpful. Second gentlemen, on meats, also nice. A tad slow, but no real complaints. This is when it takes a turn.... We order it for "here" and go to sit down..... All the tables were filthy. So we decided to change to "to go" and sat along the bench waiting. There were about 8 people on shift. 1 was "folding boxes", which at this point in the night was unnecessary as orders to go were piling up and they struggles to get crusts ready. While folding boxes, she was also on her phone texting taking up a dining table. At one point she took a phone call, then put it on speaker and walked outside to finish the call. One poor gal was left to cut all the pizzas and put the orders together, while 5 people stood around. Our order came out with about three to go orders. I asked the gentleman to put bbq on top of mine also, which he did, so I knew what was mine. She cut mine and put it on the warmer as my husbands was cut up with the rest and placed with the to go orders. After a minute, I came up and explained it and the helpful guy helped located the second and got us on our way. The pizza and ranch were good. No complaints there and the reason for the 3 stars given. The management here is non existent. Like, scrunched nose unhappy with the process. My husband is far breezier than I am, and he picked this placed... but was getting antsy. Overall, likely won't be back to this specific location, but would try others. read more

Our family is gluten and dairy free, and we were so glad to have a place to be able to go and eat out for a special occasion last night. So, we gave Pieology a try and we were very pleased! The kids ate all of their pizza, and I sat there the whole time just impressed with the manager and how he was managing everything like a freakin' champ. Sometimes you just need to sit back and admire the master who obviously knows how to handle his business. Just saying, he was doing the job of 2 people for sure, and definitely kept things moving on the line and the pickup orders too... all with a smile on his face. Without question the worst pizza and poorest excuse for a calzone we have ever had in our lives. We ordered take out, brought it home without even checking our order. The pizza came as ordered but tasted so bad. The crust was grainy, little sauce and the ingredients tasted old. The calzone did not even resemble a calzone in looks or taste. The crust was hard, tasted like hard grain all over a horrible tasting crust. No Italian red sauce at all. Although there was ricotta cheese ordered in there it was sparse. The was other cheese in there which we did not order. The meats and vegetables tasted very old. I have never in my life seen a calzone look and taste that way. As hungry as we were, we just had to throw both away without eating more than a few bites. It was so gross. If I could give a lower grade than a 1 star I would. They are so incredibly rude here. I asked for extra cheese on my pizza because there was literally NONE and I offered to pay extra. He said "yea you'll have to" in a rude tone...put the tiniest bit extra of cheese and moved on before I could even say anything else. So I arrived at 9:06 pm today, Thursday November 21. The doors were locked as the staff (I could see 3 people inside behind the "build your own" counter) had made the executive decision to close early today. The door clearly states that they are open until 9:30 pm Monday - Thursday. Super uncool, and unless the boss/owner is was there - and indeed sad if he/she was as - I am guessing that everyone that was working the close shift tonight is in some deep dodoo. Closing before posted time not only frustrates the customers that had chosen to drive to Pieology to spend their hard earned money in cars filled with the highest priced gas in the Nation. It then causes you to most likely lose this customer for good who will write a negative post on Yelp followed by telling multiple other people not to waste their time in an attempt to eat there because why try when you don't know whether the doors will be open during posted open hours. Let this be a lesson to you in an industry that has a 3-5% profit margin after all your expenses. Keep your doors open during posted hours because in not doing so you are losing business. You are also losing sales, losing butts in seats and most importantly - all of this losing is removing incoming cashflow which is what keeps your doors open in the first place, which it seems you don't want to do anyway and if you keep this up they will be closed permanently! read more

I came in last night and their was a female woth glasses and two nose piercings and male i believe his name was Camden working their asses off Disappointed because there was a line around the corner and i could see there were tons of online orders i assume from the papers and the phone continuously ringing.
