Well let's see I ordered the lobster fries with extra lobster and not only was there no extra lobster the fries were soggy and the lobster itself was rubbery and beyond salty. I literally took 2 bites and returned the food. Was only offered a partial refund. Will definitely not be coming back. Super gross and the owner refused to give a full refund based on the fact that I took 2 bites. Very gross. Do not recommend eating here. There are better places with fresh food read more

This was some of the best seafood dishes I've had. Super surprised too as I came here instead of going to the more expensive Market Broiler across the street. And to my surprise I liked both dishes here better than anything I've had at the Market Broiler. No disrespect to the Market Broiler either as it's a great place for fresh fish and has a great ambience. Pier 76 doesn't have quite the date night vibes of a fine dining restaurant but it's a lot nicer than it first appears walking up. And it turned out to be a nice date for me and my wife sitting side by side in a quaint way that was just as enjoyable and definitely reasonably priced for the quality of food. This place is so mediocre it hurts. The lobster roll is way overpriced to be served on the driest bread lacking flavor all around. The clam chowder tasted like it's from a can. And the fish and chips lacked good breading. It was too salty and overall mushy. The fries were okay... honestly go to Shrimp Shack at the food lab instead. Don't waste your hard earned money here. I was craving gumbo so I popped in for a quick bite. You order at the front and they bring it to you if you dine in. The servers were nice and the gumbo was surprisingly good! I used to like this place a lot pre-pandemic. But on our last visit, there was some unhappiness with our meal. The service part was great, the kiosk ordering was fine. Cleanliness was ok, tables were clear of crumbs but seemed sticky. Starting off with pros: 1. Drink selection variety. I like the lime cucumber drink the best. 2. Service was pleasant, staff seemed friendly. 3. Waiting time for receiving food was quick, no issues there. The main reasons why I'm giving it 3 stars is 1. The fish in the fish sandwich was not as good as when I had it the last time. I think it could have used just a few more minutes to cook. The fries were hard, my husband helped me eat it so as not to waste money. 2. The kale salad was overly covered in lemon juice. 3. There was a bothersome fly that decided to hang out during our whole meal there. 4. The clam chowder was way too cool. It was about 100 degrees instead of normal 160+. Used way too many potatoes and hardly any clams. 5. The lobster roll sandwich is around $30. Overall, I'm not sure if we'll be back. I might give it time to recalibrate in a year and hopefully it'll be back to the delicious, enjoyable meals it used to be. read more

Came around 3 pm on a Sunday afternoon and the place was decently crowed. Ordered on the machine by the door and received my food after 15 minutes. Service is incredibly kind and the restaurant is clean. Shrimp ceviche was the perfect appetizer for a warm day. The acidity of the sauce was balanced by the slight sweetness of the shrimp and created a truly enjoyable bite. The fish sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Crispy fish on a fluffy, toasted bun worked to make a mouthwatering contrast of textures that compelled me to buy another sandwich to go. The mango refresher drink was delicious as well. Really wanted it to be a better experience being the first time here but the guy working the register came across kind of rude. No greeting of any kind, just, are you ready? The table we got was dirty and felt sticky, the booth was also dirty, the salt, pepper and hot sauce bottles we so sticky, felt bad to touch them. My son had fish and chips, he loved it. I got 2 shrimp tacos, they were okay, I also got a cup of clam chowder, it was really good. I want to go back and give this place another chance. My husband, toddler, and I had just finished a great bouldering sesh at the nearby Hangar 18. We were pretty hungry so we decided on finding a place to eat. My husband looked through a few places on Yelp and decided on Pier 76 based on a photo of a really delicious-looking clam bucket. We had to park a little ways away from the restaurant since this is a busier area in Riverside. But by GOLLY is the food amazing! I would 100% come back here next time we're in the area. Unfortunately, when we arrived, walked in, and looked at the menu, the clam bucket was nowhere to be found. The cashier was really friendly and helpful in giving suggestions. She said that the clam bucket had been removed from the menu which was a disappointment since that was the main reason we came, but we were undeterred and decided to give Pier 76 a try nonetheless. My husband ordered the Warm Lobster Roll which was rather expensive at $30. I don't think we'll be ordering it again due to the price tag, but it was quite good. It's worth at least one try if you can afford it. I ordered the P76 Clam Chowder bowl, a Blackened Salmon Taco, and a Crispy Fish Taco. All of it was SO GOOD! I'm salivating as I'm writing this. I order clam chowder at every restaurant I visit that happens to offer it, and this bowl was definitely top two of the best I've ever had. I've lived most of my life in Seattle which has excellent chowder, so that's a pretty high bar set. We ordered a kid's meal that consisted of a Grilled Shrimp kabob with about four large skewered shrimp. It really had little to no taste and I figured they didn't season it since it's a kid's meal. The meal came with a fountain drink, which we shared and kept getting refills on. Their diverse selection of agua frescas and lemonade was so refreshing! They also have your standard soda fountain if you prefer that. We tried every flavor of the agua frescas and even took a final drink home to-go. The kid's meal also came with a side of fries, which were some of the best fries I've ever had! They were hot, fresh, salty, and had a great flavor to them. I really wanted to try Pier 76's sweet potato fries as well, so we ordered some to-go. All in all, our bill came to about $70 with tax and tip which is a little pricey but that includes the $30 Warm Lobster Roll so it would've been about $20 less had my husband ordered something else. TLDR: Come eat here, the food and drinks are amazing! read more

Most restaurants don't offer that many "healthy dishes". I've been looking for a place that has this and Pier 76 is it. I went here with a friend and the portions are huge! I was stuffed. The fish was cooked perfectly. The sweet potatoes didn't taste too greasy or too oily which I enjoyed. I think the dressing on the kale and butternut squash was AMAZING. It was citrusy and super refreshing. The food came out quickly too and everything tasted fresh. If you're looking to try something other than fast food, go to Riverside Plaza and try this place! This place is no joke! Nestled in the plaza with other food eateries it is a definite step above Dickies and I would say on par with CA pizza kitchen. I loved the breading on the chicken bites and my one complaint were some of the bites were so small it was more breading than chicken. Also came with a drink and a bag of cookies (or ice cream if you choose). Value is 100% there and worth it. Next would be fish and shrimp combo. Again this was served on just a mountain of fries! Very good fries but wayyyy too much. The fish were large and well breaded BUT I hate to say lacking any flavor. They do have a sidebar area full of hot sauces and the such, and it comes with your regular cocktail and tartar home sauces as well - which again you'll need due to lack of flavor. The shrimp? Ammmazing. Cleaned,devained, tailless - very good ! Last the Lobster roll. The price tag makes you want to cry a little but it's worth it. Fatty juicy buttery lobster pieces, a whole claw piece, on a buttery roll. Sooo good. I don't know how you eat it though, too big for a mouth bite!
