Lobster roll was good but keep in mind it is sold at MP. Good amount of meat on there and the roll was lightly toasted with a buttery flavor. They used to have a poke dish here as an appetizer, and it was my favorite because it had a nice citrus-y tang to it. I don't see it on the menu anymore which is a bummer. During a recent visit I was able to try the swordfish and sea bass. As advertised on their menu, the sea bass was indeed flaky and very mild in flavor. Very soft as well, and not very fishy. The swordfish was a bit dry and very meaty and firm. A bit salty. My boyfriend said that his side of rice was cooked well, no complaints about unusually dry rice typical of Western restaurants. We ordered a cup of clam chowder, Wild Mahi Mahi with two sides, one grilled shrimp taco and two Chardonnays. The bill was around 43.00 including tip. We sat down at a place with a tall table for four which was half was not cleaned from last patron. The other tables were occupied. We were party of two. Soup was creamy, lots of clams more than potatoes. It was served with oyster crackers. Soup was in a plastic container which gave the impression that the plastic cover was peeled off and set in the microwave! The Mahi Mahi was great! Well cooked and tasted like it was cooked over charcoal- I ordered kale salad and the brown rice with quinoa, my preference mix all together so it will taste better; my husband had the grilled shrimp taco and he was satisfied. The Chardonnay was chilled and good. We were happy to have gone. One request is to clean tables rapidly so coming in customers do not see dirty plates and smell the left overs from past patrons. Came in with my wife to just try the place out. Honestly I'm glad we did opposed to the usual Habit Burger because the fish n chips had us satisfied and happy. Service here is not bothersome so you can unwind and really enjoy the scenery. When I got my salmon and Brussels with black beans, the flavors were pretty all over the place today. The broccoli and Brussels sprouts were VERY acidic, it taste like the sauce was nothing but lemon juice and vinegar. The salmon was cooked perfectly EXCEPT all the vinegar every where, the taste of the garlic butter did not come through at all. The black beans is basically a bean soup with no flavor. I came here with my girlfriend since it appeared to be a decent seafood based restaurant near where we were. We ordered a wild albacore poke bowl and grilled salmon with the sides of french fries and broccoli slaw. The food came out in about 5 minutes after ordering. The wild albacore poke bowl was huge and piled like a mountain. The albacore tasted really fresh. The problems were that there were too many red onions, which overshadowed the taste of the rest of the plate, and the huge amount of sauce that piles up and makes the rice too soggy. For its cost, I would say overall taste was lacking but quantity wise fair. The grilled salmon with broccoli slaw and french fries was delicious. The grilled salmon was cooked light enough that it was rich and flavorful while also being juicy at the same time. The broccoli slaw was by far one of the best slaws Ive ever eaten. The french fries were not crunchy as how I usually like them, but it was acceptable in this case as it did go well with the salmon. The french fries were also packed with potatoes and not hollow. This dish was well worth its price. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good. The cost of the food was worth it based on the quality and quantity given. I like how you get the option of choosing an entree and the style you would like it cooked or sides. Of course the entrees are various fishes and chicken. I chose Mahi mahi mojo style which was "mojo sauce" corn, red onions rice and black beans. IT WAS AMAZING. The price range is definitely worth the quality and portioning of the food. All the tables in the whole place were sticky and dirty and I was the first customer of the day. Floors were dirty as well. Probably would be a good idea to have the closing crew wipe all tables down and floors cleaned when they leave. At the very least the opening crew should make sure the dining room area is clean. So beware--when you order fish and chips, do not click on French friends or you will end up with a double order of fries and a drink you didn't intend to order. This is a long story.... My family and I started eating here a few months ago. On Valentine's Day, they were SUPER busy, and after waiting 50 minutes, it was discovered that my order was lost. My toddler was cranky and hungry, and my Valentine's dinner was ruined, as I couldn't wait for them to make my order because my child was hungry. I was so flustered that I didn't even get a refund, but I told him my name and that I would return for my return. My husband ended up going back the next day, and the owner was very apologetic, and remade our order, and gave us extra sides to try, free of charge. He also threw in a gift card!
