Thomas was so cool i asked if i could take the with the biggest window table for a few hours. No Problem. I HAD THE BIGGEST AND BESTEST BURRITO EVER. HUGE! Made by the mama and the MIcheladas were well made and delicious. I went out later to free up big table during the lunch rush. I noticed the guests were all local eating well real made food. After a long while I had a wonderful time. I loved this place if i am ever in this area i'm stopping by for great food and good fun. I do l live 3 hours away. The location is easy to find with Free parking (we are not happy about $7 hr /parking in downtown Pismo! ) This place is clean, nice restrooms, & he works quick! But most important... BIG portions, a really nice menu, & he even offers a VIP loyalty program. We joined & got BOGO the 1st month! My Western Burger was delicious! Hubbys Hot Pastrami was great! A cute restaurant located on the street to beach entrance that offers a variety of meals. Wasn't super busy but did take quite some time to prepare our meals I would say about 15 minutes. Ordered a salad and a sandwich. The Mr. said salad was okay but he didn't finish the whole salad. My sandwich was yummy, I loved that you could choose your sides from potato salad,macaroni salad or cole slaw. I chose potato salad, I should have chose macaroni salad. Not sure if it would have made a difference but the potato salad had no flavor whatsoever. Like I said the sandwich was really yummy but definitely a sit down type of sandwich . My husband ordered the Pismo Pastrami & said it was delicious, even with those out of the box toppings. I was thoroughly impressed that there were THREE vegetarian options! I apprehensively ordered the black bean burger, even though I haven't loved the meat alternatives in the past. It was delicious! Soo many toppings! It was nearly too fat to get a bite! The new Pier St Deli is a few street over from me. It has replaced the closed Adam's Burger which was also very good. My wife and I both order the ABC burger (avo, bacon, cheese). They ask you how you want the meat cooked (rear, medium or well). We order medium and both were cooked perfectly. All the fixing were fresh with no skimping on the tomato and avocado. The burger was yummy. One of the best and freshest ABC burgers We have eaten. It comes in a picnic box for food to go. Nice to take down to the beach. The burger comes with fries (very good) or a side of your choice. Also came with a pickle spear and some homemade corn chips. The menu is a good size with quit a few choices besides burgers. I got the chipotle turkey and it was very, very good. Everything tasted super fresh and the fries were good too. However there was one small flavor in the sauce that annoyed me a little, not sure what it was. But my biggest complaint was the sandwich was so large it was very difficult to eat!! Hence, the slogan above. Other people in my party got the burger, grilled cheese, and French dip. I ordered a western burger and onion rings and was surprised to see how much food I received. They definitely don't skimp and the food is high quality imo. If I had to make a complaint it would only be the fact that they are closed on mon/tues but that's not even an issue. I think what I love most is that if you want a good burger they got it.. if you want tacos/burrito they got it.. if you're vegetarian they got you.. last but not least, they're less than a rocks throw from the beach. This place is sort of a divey/beachy looking hole in the wall that serves absolutely delicious food. I had the fish tacos and they were very tasty with lots of shrimp. Don't let the looks stop you from going in and giving the place a try....it's Oceano. read more

I got recommended this place by a co-worker,I got the basic pastrami sandwich which was pretty good I also got the chili cheese fries which I would have preferred real cheese and not cheese sauce but they were still really good and the amount you get wow, the only complaint I really have is that when I ordered online they had the option of onion rings with the sandwich and with me getting chili fries as well I would have preferred them over more fries, but apparently at the time they were out, which is not that big out a deal but it the only reason I have for not giving this place a 5 star. read more

My husband got a double bacon burger with onion rings, he said it was very juicy with good flavor (didn't need any exta condiments) and generous portion. Great food! We came in as locals looking for a good lunch as we saw that this place had good reviews. It didn't disappoint! The ingredients were good quality and fresh. My wife and I are very lactose intolerant and we asked for everything to be made without any dairy. Not only did they comply, we actually watched the very hardworking cook scrape off the flattop and wipe it down before adding the ingredients for our order on there. Stellar service! Went down here on a quiet day with my wife and 2yo. I got a baconator and she got a beef au jus. If I hadn't read the reviews and seen the photos, I would've expected it to be a crappy burger. I still half expected a crappy burger. It was a delicious burger with juicy, quality patties. The burger was stacked. I usually eat a lot of food, and the baconator didn't disappoint. I ate the burger at about 2PM and wasn't able to eat dinner that night because I was still so full. IMO, this is one of the best burgers in the area. My wife's sandwich was also good. Fries were crispy and fresh. Did not appear to be frozen soggy crap fries like some places in the 5 cities... Veggie sandwich was loaded with fresh vegetables that were crunchy and refreshing. Bread was poofy n soft. Came with fries and pickles. Also had taco salad, each ingredient was separated in a pile which made it easy to choose and mix. Came with delicious homemade salsa n chips. Grilled chicken was nicely marinated n grilled and the greens were so fresh. Staff was very nice n helpful. Overall an excellent place with huge flavors n portions. Heard a new spot had opened down by the beach. So when the tourist coast was clear we stopped in for lunch. So glad we did. I ordered the veggie sandwich and added grilled onions and mushrooms.
