Jesse opened it up, installed proper backing so the shelves could be bolted in securely, then redid the herringbone tile and matched the existing grout so well you can't tell any repair was ever done. While he was in there, he also fixed a leaking tub spout that required opening another section of wall for plumbing work, then patched and painted it back to seamless. I was looking at replacing 3 bathroom faucet cartridges, as I had one leaking and felt it was best to replace all 3 at once with one plumber visit. At first contact they requested I sent an email photo of the brand and they would have a plumber investigate and contact me with the replacement cartridges needed. I never heard back. I took a photo and put it in ChatGPT to find their recommendation and purchased them from Home Depot. I reconnected Kuhn and set up a time for a service call. The plumber came and after 30 minutes he informed me that the replacement cartridges I had brought were incorrect. He told me that the company will research the manufacturer and call me back with the product and costs. As I have a leaking faucet, how long would the turnaround be. His response was "we are not very good on that and it usually takes 2 to 3 months". I explained that my faucet is leaking and that is unacceptable. He said he will talk with his supervisor, but gave no guarantee or sense of urgency. I was charged a total of $263,25. The rate was $195 per hour. He was here a total of 45 minutes and charged me for travel time back to the shop. When I was quoted the price I was told it was for labor only and was not informed that it also included travel time, Overall, very disappointed that Kuhn felt it was acceptable to have a leaking faucet for 3 months, did nothing to fix the issue and have deceptive pricing.
